Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infections (ISPA) are a significant health issue. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), ISPA is the leading cause of death among children under five worldwide. ISPA can be caused by environments with high levels of air pollution, particularly in urban areas. Predicting the spread of ISPA is a crucial step in controlling the disease. Since pollution sources are diverse, modeling and prediction can be difficult, which makes advanced methods such as the Kalman Filter (KF) desirable. This study compares two estimation methods, the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) and the Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF), in predicting the spread of ISPA triggered by environmental pollution. Simulation results show that both methods can produce accurate estimations, but EnKF demonstrates superior performance in terms of RMSE compared to EKF. It predicts more accurately for susceptible (X) and infected (Y) populations with EnKF than with EKF. Based on the results of the EnKF for the X and Y populations, the RMSEs are 0.0660 and 0.1114, respectively. EnKF's advantage in handling uncertainty and non-linearity in the model makes it suitable for predicting the spread of ISPA.

Abstract

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set (IFS) is useful to construct a model with elaborate uncertainty and ambiguity involved in decision-making. In this paper, the concept relation and operation of intuitionistic fuzzy set and the application in major of senior high school determination using the normalized Euclidean distance method will be reviewed. Some theorem of relation and operation of intuitionistic fuzzy set are proved. In general, to prove the theorem the definition and some basic relation and operation laws of IFS are needed. The distance measure between IFS indicates the difference in grade between the information carried by IFS. There are science, social, and language majors in senior high school. The normalized Euclidean distance method is used to measure the distance between each student and each major. The major, which each student can choose, has been determined depending on test evaluations. The solution provided is the smallest distance between each student and each major using the normalized Euclidean distance method.

Abstract

Prime numbers is one of kind number that have many uses, one of which is cryptography. The uniqueness of prime numbers in their divisors and distributions causes prime numbers to be widely used in digital security systems. In number theory, one of famous theorem is Euclid theorem. Euclid theorem says about infinitely of prime numbers. Many alternative proof has been given by mathematician to find new theory or approximation of prime properties. The construction of proof give new idea about properties of prime number. So, in this study, we will give an alternative proof of Euclid theorem and investigate the properties of prime in distribution.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of students' conceptual understanding abilities at SMPN 16 Semarang in spatial construction material by utilizing the example non-example learning model with GeoGebra media. This research uses an experimental design with a posttest-only control group and is a form of quantitative research. Class VIIIH was used as the experimental class, and class VIIIG was used as the control class. Samples were obtained using a cluster random sampling approach. Tests and documentation are used in research data collection procedures. The results showed that the average post-test score for experimental class students was while the average post-test score for control class students was From the t-test calculations, the values obtained are and with a sig value. 0.05. Students in the experimental class showed a better level of understanding of mathematical concepts than students in the control group; this can be seen from the findings, which show that tcount > ttable. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Example Non-example model, which utilizes geogebra media increases students' conceptual understanding of spatial construction material.
