Abstract

Thaha Husein merupakan cendekiawan yang tunanetra sejak kecil, namun banyak melakukan perubahan signifikan pada bidang pendidikan di Mesir. Jabatan sebagai Menteri Pendidikan yang diamanahkan kepadanya dimanfaatkan untuk perubahan pendidikan yang sebelumnya telah kehilangan relevansi dengan zaman, memperlambat pembangunan sumber daya manusia, dan memperpanjang dominasi asing terhadap kemerdekaan negara Mesir. Thaha Husein menggratiskan pendidikan, melakukan perubahan kurikulum, metode, dan menampilkan pedidikan di Mesir yang lebih humanis dan modern dibandingkan sebelumnya.

Abstract

Muhammad ‘Abid Al-Jabiri dikenal sebagai pemikir wacana keislaman kontemporer yang banyak menghasilkan banyak karya berkaitan dengan studi pemikiran Islam, filsafat, politik, budaya, pendidikan dan lain-lain. Secara umum, pemikirannya penuh dengan kritik kontstruktif terhadap pemikiran Islam Tradisionalis-Konservatif. Berbicara tentang diskursus pendidikan, ia pernah membahas tentang sistem pendidikan di Maroko yang dianggap masih mempertahankan sistem tradisionalis dan sudah tidak relevan dengan konteks kekinian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemikiran Muhammad ‘Abid Al-Jabiri dan relevansinya terhadap pendidikan saat ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan (Library Research). Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu pengutipan dari buku, jurnal, berita dan hasil penelitian. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan bahwa pemikiran Muhammad ‘Abid Al-Jabiri tentang definisi, tujuan, metode, materi, evaluasi dan solusi dalam pengembangan pendidikan relevan dengan konteks pendidikan saat ini.

Abstract

Strategi dan metode pembelajaran merupakan satu kesatuan yang tidak dapat dipisahkan. Sebagai guru profesional, dituntut untuk menguasai berbagai strategi dan metode pembelajaran dalam menghadapi industri 4.0. Selain itu, inovasi strategi dan dan metode pembelajaran akan terus dikembangkan oleh guru guna menjawab tantangan zaman, terlebih lagi dalam konteks merdeka belajar. Tulisan ini mengulas model inovasi strategi dan metode pembelajaran yang sedang dikembangkan dalam beberapa literatur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa ada 8 (delapan) jenis strategi yang dapat digunakan oleh guru, yaitu: Strategi Pembelajaran Ekspositori (SPE), Strategi Pembelajaran Inkuiri (SPI), Strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (SPBM), Strategi Pembelajaran untuk Meningkatkan Daya Pikir Keterampilan (SPPKB), Strategi Pembelajaran Kooperatif (SPK), Strategi Pembelajaran Kontekstual (CTL), Strategi Pembelajaran Afektif dan Strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Komputer dan Elektronik (E-Learning). Selain itu terdapat 14 (empat belas) metode pembelajaran yaitu: metode ceramah, metode tanya jawab, metode diskusi, metode demonstrasi dan eksperimen, metode simulasi, metode resitasi, metode latihan keterampilan (Drill), Metode Peer Teaching, metode pemecahan masalah (Problem Solving), metode pengajaran tim (Team Teaching), metode kunjungan lapangan (Field Trip), metode proyek (Project Method), metode bagian (Teileren Method) dan metode global (Ganze Method).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendidikan akhlak serta relevansinya dalam pendidikan menurut perspektif Syekh Muhammad Syakir dalam kitab Washoya Al-Abaa’ Lil Abnaa’. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Penelitian yang mengumpulkan datanya dilakukan dengan menghimpun data dari penelusuran dan penelaah berbagai literatur serta bahan Pustaka lainnya. Penelitian ini membatasi hanya pada bahan-bahan koleksi perpustakaan saja tanpa memerlukan riset lapangan. Selain itu mengumpulkan bahan dari buku-buku, majalah, ensiklopedia, artikel dan jurnal yang da relevansinya dengan judul penelitian. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa Pemikiran Syekh Muhammad Syakir dalam Kitab Washoya mengusung konsep Pendidikan Akhlak yang relevan dengan pendidikan saat ini, terutama dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka Tahun 2022 di Indonesia. Nilai-nilai seperti jujur, iffah, syukur, dan ikhlas yang diajarkan dalam kitab ini memiliki dampak positif dalam pembentukan karakter individu dan seharusnya diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan modern untuk membentuk generasi yang lebih baik secara moral dan karakter.

Abstract

King Mohammed VI bestowed special emphasis upon Morocco, a country with a population of 30 million people and a Muslim majority of 99%. In 1999, Moroccan students’ performance in mathematics and science fell below the global average. The education system in Morocco is perceived as being unresponsive to the demands of the labour market, prompting the implementation of the National Education Emergency Support Programme in 2009. This study aims to examine the educational policies established by the Moroccan government. This research involves conducting a literature review, specifically employing content analysis tools. Research findings indicate that the majority of Islamic schools or madrasas in Morocco are predominantly overseen by autonomous or privately-owned organisations. The government’s involvement is necessary to promote the development of these schools in alignment with the requirements of the labour market, particularly in the realm of science.

Abstract

Japan is recognized as having a superior education system in the world because of its complete facilities and competent human resources. Developing countries often point to Japan as an example for raising educational standards. This research aims to determine the comparison of educational curricula in Indonesia and Japan. The method used in this research is Literature Review, namely by conducting research on scientific articles, books and other sources that are relevant to certain problems, research fields, or theory, as well as several other documents that have been published. The results of this research are: 1) The level of education in Japan is the same as in Indonesia, consisting of nine years of basic education (primary school and junior high school), three years of senior high school (general and vocational tracks), and higher education, 2) The Japanese curriculum is revised every ten years, while the Indonesian curriculum is revised every time there is a change in leadership. 3) The general aim of education in Japan is similar to that in Indonesia, namely developing the potential of students. Japan's goals are more specific and include various characteristics that Japanese children must have. 4) The subjects taught in elementary school classes in Japan and Indonesia have significant differences, especially in terms of language and the variety of lessons taught. Apart from that, the learning approaches and curricula in the two countries also show striking differences, with different emphasis on language and certain skills. 5) The Indonesian curriculum adopts scientific methods and a project-based learning approach with teachers as facilitators, while the Japanese curriculum uses lesson study. with an open approach and problem solving, where the teacher acts as a facilitator with the principle that children must understand, can, and the class must be fun, 6) Both Indonesia and Japan do not apply the National Examination (UN) in assessment.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the Indigenous Malay people living in Bantan District can be considered isolated, remote, and inland, with limited access to educational facilities provided by the government. The Indigenous Malay people have become complacent with their current conditions and situation. The aim of this research is to determine the level of educational awareness among the Indigenous Malay people in Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency, and the factors contributing to their educational backwardness. Additionally, the research seeks to identify an appropriate educational concept to change the Indigenous Malay people's paradigm regarding the importance of education for their well-being. The method used in this research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that educational participation among the indigenous community in Bantan District for primary education is relatively significant, reaching 80 percent of the total school-age children. For junior high school education, participation is also quite high at 65 percent. However, the participation rate for high school education is relatively low, at only 45 percent. Although primary education participation is generally good, there is still a significant dropout rate, with children often leaving school when they reach the third or fourth grade. Factors contributing to the educational backwardness of the Indigenous Malay people in Bantan District include peer influence from those not attending school, weak economy, low motivation, lack of parental encouragement, low self-confidence, and insufficient educational infrastructure. The educational concept proposed for the Indigenous Malay community in Bantan District is the Indigenous Education Concept. The indigenous learning system is a system used by traditional communities to maintain and preserve their social systems for their survival.

Abstract

Inovasi model pembelajaran merupakan unsur penting dalam pengembangan pembelajaran sampai saat ini. Salah satunya adalah Model pembelajaran Self Organized Learning Environments (SOLE). Model ini merupakan gagasan yang dikembangkan oleh Sugata Mitra berasal dari India. Penelitian ini mencoba memodifikasi dan menginovasi antara model pembelajaran SOLE dengan materi Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di tingkat Aliyah yang relevan dengan kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan menggunakan motode studi kepustakaan (literature review) dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Sumber data diambil dari hasil penelitian dan artikel-artikel yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model ini dalam pembelajaran materi Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam, dapat dilakukan dengan 3 (tiga) tahap, yaitu: (1) tahapan pertanyaan (Question) dengan 3 (tiga) langkah, (2) tahapan penyelidikan (Investigation) dengan 3 (tiga) langkah; dan (3) tahapan peninjauan (Review) dengan 3 (tiga) langkah. Model pembelajaran Self Organized Learning Environments (SOLE) ini bisa dimodifikasi dan diinovasi dengan diterapkan kepada materi Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam tingkat Madrasah Aliyah

Abstract

Children are the trust entrusted by Allah SWT to parents to raise them to be sholeh and sholeha children. This shows that parents have a great responsibility for the education of their children. Because the success of parents in raising their children will affect his future. Thus, through QS Luqman verses 17-19 provide examples of how parents educate a child. This study aims to find out what education parents need to instill in a child to have charisma based on QS Luqman verses 17-19. The method used by research is the library research method that refers to various data sources. The results of this study explain that in QS Luqman verses 17-19 there are two forms of education that parents need to instill in their children. The education consists of creed education and moral education. Religious education includes worshiping Allah SWT, carrying out amar ma'ruf and staying away from nahi mungkar, and being patient. While moral education includes not being arrogant / arrogant, always being simple and gentle in word and deed.

Abstract

This study is conducted because numerous people who live in Deluk Village do not comprehend the Islamic values entitled to the boat deployment tradition that has existed for years. Besides, there are yet concrete explanations regarding the benefits and Islamic teachings in the tradition which resulted in different perspectives on this ritual. This investigation aims to comprehend the procedure of boat deployment and understand the Islamic values behind such a tradition. A descriptive qualitative method was employed in this study by commencing observation, interview, and documentation. The finding suggests boat deployment tradition in Deluk Village was a custom and tradition before fishermen started to use the boat for fishing activities. Such tradition has been inherited from generation to generation and still exists till the present time. The results showed that the tradition of kenduri turun kapal pompong carried out by the people of Deluk Village is a custom or habit. This tradition is hereditary and still exists today. The process of carrying out the kenduri tradition of disembarking the pompong ship begins with the preparation of the ceremony, praying together, followed by eating kenduri, tepung tawar, and ending with the lowering of the pompong ship into the sea. The Islamic education values contained in the implementation of the kenduri pompong tradition are the value of tawhid (faith), the value of worship, moral values, and social values.
