Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Green Accounting at PT Berau Coal towards sustainable development. The type of research used in this research is research. This research uses secondary data, obtained from the analysis of PT Berau Coal's annual report. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Miles and Huberman Model data analysis technique. The results of this research indicate that PT. Berau Coal has played a quite good role in efforts to realize sustainable development. PT. Berau Coal increases economic growth by providing substantial regional income and helping communities around the mine to become independent by providing financial assistance, coaching and facilities related to independent economic businesses such as assistance to MSMEs. The role of social activities is to provide educational assistance to the community appropriately and effectively. For environmental contributions, PT. Berau Coal tries to help build independent communities, especially in the agricultural and plantation sectors by providing land, seeds and guidance related to agriculture and plantations. PT. Berau Coal has also implemented green accounting in the form of reporting environmental costs such as environmental prevention costs and internal failure costs in the annual report for each period.

Abstract

The application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in home security and comfort systems is constantly evolving. This research proposes the design and implementation of an IoT-based servo door lock system and home lighting control. The system is designed using the Wemos D1 microcontroller, a servo motor, an infrared sensor, a relay, and a light sensor. The results of this study indicate that the system can be effectively implemented and meets the design objectives. Based on tests conducted, users can access the door lock and control home lighting through a mobile or web application. The delay in executing commands from the application to the servo door lock system is approximately 38.93 seconds, while the delay to the relay system is about 34.83 seconds. Furthermore, the infrared and light sensors allow users to monitor the status of the door lock (open/closed) and lighting (on/off) via the application.

Abstract

Water is a very important need for life on earth, especially living things such as humans, plants, animals and others. To meet these water needs, humans make various efforts to get it. Energy loss is a factor that affects the capacity of pipes as a means of conducting the flow of both water and oil. Energy loss leads to a reduction in flow discharge. Energy loss is caused by several factors including the roughness of pipe walls. In general, in a pipeline installation, two types of energy loss are known, namely energy loss due to friction and energy loss due to changes in miners and other accessories. From the test results, the largest energy loss occurred in the 3/4 pipe (P1 and P2) inch of 0.0092 m, also having a large flow speed of 0.579 m / second. The cause of the large energy loss due to friction between fluid and pipe walls or called major losses (hf) in normal pipes is greater than pipe cross-sectional changes and pipe bend resistance. Meanwhile, the flow speed in a normal pipe with a diameter of 2 inches has a flow speed of 0.080 m / s and an energy loss of 0.0000657 m and a flow speed in a normal pipe with a diameter of 3/4 inch has a flow speed of 0.571 m / s and an energy loss of 0.0033 m.

Abstract

Indonesia saat ini tengah dilanda kemarau yang panjang sebagai dampak dari El-Nino. Kemarau yang panjang dapat menyebabkan berbagai permasalahan, terutama di bidang pertanian. Kemarau panjang juga melanda tanaman budidaya yang dipelihara oleh pihak pengelola kebun praktek di SMK N 3 Sidrap. Peneitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dampak dari kemarau panjang terhadap kebun praktek sekolah tersebut. Metode yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini ada metode survei pada lokasi dan wawancara terhadap pihak pengelola kebun. Berdasarkan pengamatan, banyak tanaman yang mampu bertahan menghadapi kemarau panjang dan berdasarkan wawancara kepada Ibu Nur Asiah, S.P., M.P., selaku pengelola, tanaman-tanaman tersebut mampu bertahan karena pola penyiraman yang rutin dilakukan setiap pagi dan sore hari. Namun, walaupun demikian, tetap saja ada tanaman yang mati karena tidak mampu bertahan menghadapi kemarau panjang

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan prototipe Smart Chicken Farm berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan platform Blink. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memantau dan mengontrol berbagai aspek dari peternakan ayam secara real-time, termasuk suhu, kelembaban, dan pemberian pakan otomatis. Sensor-sensor yang digunakan mengirimkan data ke mikrokontroler, yang kemudian memproses dan mengirimkannya ke aplikasi Blink melalui koneksi internet menggunakan NodeMCU ESP8266. Pengguna dapat memantau kondisi peternakan dan mengontrol perangkat dari jarak jauh melalui aplikasi Blink. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi operasional dan kemudahan dalam pengelolaan peternakan ayam. Sistem ini memberikan solusi efektif dan inovatif untuk manajemen peternakan ayam modern.

Abstract

Kakao merupakan komoditas yang sedang dikembangkan di Kabupaten Bulungan sebagai alternatif mata pencaharian. Namun, kakao di Kabupaten Bulungan termasuk kedalam komoditas yang masih berkembang dibandingkan komoditas unggulan lainnya seperti kelapa sawit. Hal tersebut seringkali membuat petani ragu untuk ikut serta pengembangannya. Maka, untuk menjaga perkembangannya, diperlukan motivasi yang tinggi dari petani sebagai pelaksana. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis motivasi petani kakao berdasarkan pengaruh dari dukungan penyuluhan dan karakteristik petani. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kuantitatif verifikatif dengan pegambilan sampel menggunakan metode samping jenuh (sensus) pada 108 petani kakao binaan PT X di Kabupaten Bulungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari dukungan penyuluhan terhadap karakteristik petani dan karakteristik petani berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi petani. Selanjutnya, dukungan penyuluhan tidak berpengaruh langsung secara positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi petani. Namun, motivasi petani dipengaruhi oleh dukungan penyuluhan melalui karakteristik petani sebagai variabel mediasi. Hasil dari temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya rancangan program penyuluhan yang diarahkan pada peningkatan karakteristik petani agar dapat lebih mendorong petani untuk termotivasi melakukan usaha tani kakao melalui pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap dan keberanian mengambil risiko.

Abstract

Gampong Teungoh Village, located in Meurah Mulia Subdistrict, North Aceh, has experienced a decline in community income due to damaged irrigation systems that hinder agricultural activities during the dry season. This condition has prompted some residents to shift toward home-based businesses (home industry) as an alternative economic strategy. However, limited digital literacy and underdeveloped marketing approaches remain major obstacles to the growth of these enterprises. This community service initiative employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, utilizing field observations, semi-structured interviews, and direct training. Students from KPM Group 12 conducted visits to two home industry units—peyek kacang (peanut cracker) and tofu production—and implemented a training program on using Instagram as a digital marketing tool. The results indicate that business owners can manage production independently yet face challenges in reaching broader markets. The introduction of Instagram as a promotional platform successfully enhanced digital engagement, expanded consumer reach, and strengthened the branding of local products. Entrepreneurs began receiving orders through social media, demonstrating increased confidence in utilizing technology. Digital marketing through social media has proven to be an effective strategy for improving the competitiveness of home industry products. Simple technology-based interventions can have a tangible impact on strengthening the local economy.
