Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat Expost Facto dengan 3 rumusan masalah yaitu: (1). Apakah prestasi belajar matematika siswa mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa inggris ?; (2). Apakah prestasi belajar bahasa Inggris siswa mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa inggris?; (3). Apakah prestasi belajar matematika dan prestasi belajar bahasa inggris siswa secara bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa Inggris?. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Palopo T.A. 2010/2011 dengan Sampel sebanyak 30 siswa dengan cara systematic random sampling. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) Prestasi belajar matematika berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa inggris, (2) Prestasi belajar bahasa inggris berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa inggris, dan (3) Prestasi belajar matematika dan bahasa inggris secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa inggris. Selanjutnya, diperoleh nilai Rsquare = 0,775, yang artinya bahwa 77,5 % variansi tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal trigonometri berbahasa inggris ditentukan oleh prestasi belajar matematika dan bahasa inggris siswa dengan catatan bahwa pengaruh variabel lain diabaikan. Kata Kunci: Prestasi Belajar, Kemampuan Menyelesaiakan Soal. Study the onset is Expost Facto to 3: problem formulation (1). If the achievements of the students learn math have an influence positive towards the ability of students in solving trigonometric problems such as English?; 2). Is student achievement in English have a positive influence on students´ ability to solve the problems of trigonometry English language?, (3). Is mathematics learning achievement and English Language learning achievement of students together to have a positive influence on students´ ability to solve the problems of trigonometry English?. Population research is all the students of Class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Palopo T.A. 2010/2011. Samples taken as many as 30 students by means of systematic random sampling. The results of the analysis of data obtained the conclusion that (1) the achievement of a positive effect on learning mathematics ability levels solve problems such as trigonometry English-speaking, (2) achievements of study English influence positively to skill level solve problems such as trigonometry English-speaking and (3) Accomplishment of learning math and English together influential positive against level solve problems such as trigonometry English-speaking. Furthermore, the retrieved value Rsquare = 0,775, meaning that 77.5% variansi level of ability in students solve problems such as trigonometry speak English is determined by the achievement of learning math and English students with a note that the influence of other variables are ignored. Abstract

The crime occurred in Palopo city each year is volatile enough. Although they tend to fall through leaving 176 cases in 2013, it does not mean that Palopo is fairly safe from the criminal acts. The societies of Palopo especially the polices, it is very important to know the areas included in the crime-prone areas. Therefore, this study tried to map the crimes occurred in Palopo city by applying Correspondence Analysis. The research objects were criminal data reported in the police of Palopo City since January to September 2015. From Chi-Square analysis, it was found that there was a relationship between the variables of Criminal Action Types and Occurrence Time. Similarly, the Criminal Action Types with Occurrence Places, and Criminal Action Types by the reasons occurring Criminal Acts also showed a relationship with criminal acts against the place and the reasons for the crimes. Furthermore, based on the correspondence analysis it was found that the largest crimes in the area of the police of Palopo are the theft of the motorcycles and the smallest crimes are persecutions. Most of time incidents occurred at 24.00-07.00. The crimes occurred in Wara district

Abstract

Learning modules designed based on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) are very important to improve the learning experience of students. This research tries to develop a module-based TPACK for statistics in MTs Keppe, Larompong, and Luwu. This study aims to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of statistical learning modules developed based on TPACK. This research is R&D with the ADDIE models. The statistics module was developed based on the needs of junior high school students in Keppe and tested on grade VIII students. The instruments used are expert validation questionnaires practicality questionnaires to assess product feasibility, and learning outcomes tests to assess product effectiveness. The results showed that the TPACK-based statistics module can be feasible to use with validation of 85% by media experts and 87.5% by material experts, with a practicality level of 91%. This module is also effective in improving student learning outcomes with a percentage of 89.5%.

Abstract

Learning media in mathematics education is one of the determining factors for students' learning outcomes in mathematics. This study developed the Trigonometric Finger Learning Media (Jargonometry) to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of high school students. The research design an R&D approach using the ADDIE model. The study was conducted at a high school in East Luwu Regency, with Class X.8 from the 2023/2024 academic year as the research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, product validation, response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The findings indicate that the Jargonometry learning media is valid, practical, and effective in improving high school students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

One of the regional languages in Tana Luwu, especially in North Luwu Regency, is the Limola language. Limola language is a regional language used in communication by the people of Sassa Village. This research utilizes the Pinasco and Romanelli (PR) model to analyze the vitality of the Limola language. The language's sustainability is assessed through a questionnaire with vitality indicators based on UNESCO. Meanwhile, birth and death rates are derived from statistical data from North Luwu. This research found that the model used can explain the possibility of using the Limola language by taking into the carrying capacity and average birth and death rates of users of the Limola language. There are three conditions found. The third condition, despite the birth and death rates of Limola language users being higher than those of people using other languages, the usage of the Limola language still decreases. This is because the language used to communicate as a child as an indicator of the carrying capacity of the Limola language, is very small. In addition, five out of the nine vitality indicators formulated by UNESCO are endangered, posing a threat to the survival of the Limola language
