Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan mind mapping pada pembelajaran IPA materi Pencemaran Lingkungan, hasil belajar, dan perubahan perilaku  pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 2 Brebes. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas terdiri dari 2 siklus. Siklus I maupun siklus II berlangsung dalam 2 kali pertemuan (4x40 menit). Langkah-langkah dalam siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah Aktivitas selama proses pembelajaran memperoleh hasil siklus I mencapai kategori baik dengan persentase 84,61%, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 94,23% dengan kategori sangat baik, Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mencapai kategori baik yaitu 82,14%, siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 92,85% yang termasuk kedalam kategori sangat baik dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa memperoleh hasil siklus I tingkat ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal hanya mencapai 59,37% dari KKM yang telah diterapkan yaitu 85%. Namun terjadi peningkatan pada siklus ke II hingga mencapai 87,50%.The purpose of this study was to describe the application of mind mapping in science learning about environmental pollution, learning outcomes, and behavior change in class VII A students of SMP Negeri 2 Brebes. This research was conducted using Classroom Action Research method consisting of 2 cycles. Cycle I and cycle II took place in 2 meetings (4x40 minutes). The steps in the cycle consist of planning, implementation, action, observation and reflection. The results obtained are the activities during the learning process obtained the results of the first cycle reaching a good category with a percentage of 84.61%, in the second cycle it increased to 94.23% with a very good category, student activities in the first cycle reached a good category, namely 82.14%. , the second cycle increased to 92.85% which was included in the very good category and the increase in student learning outcomes obtained the results of the first cycle the classical student learning completeness level only reached 59.37% of the KKM that had been applied, namely 85%. However, there was an increase in the second cycle to reach 87.50%

Abstract

The report of hilal rukyat observation has an important role in determining the beginning of the Kamariah month, especially the months of Ramadan, Shawwal, and Zulhijah. To avoid doubts about Hilal witness reports, a methodology is needed that can scientifically confirm the results of observers' witnesses. This research proposes the concept of methodology for confirming Hilal observation reports based on science by considering astrophysical elements such as atmospheric extinction, atmospheric pollution, sky and moon brightness, and sensitivity (acuity) of the human eye when reporting Hilal observations. This research uses a descriptive method to describe the situation that occurs in the field and uses a statistical approach to present the results of data analysis to support the framework. The results showed that computations were performed to test the validity of Hilal observation reports by referring to three components: source, link, and receiver. A methodology was developed as criteria in confirming Hilal witness reports, including reproducibility of observations, consistency with astronomical data, and validation by Falak authorities. The critical analysis involved a review of the literature on Hilal witness confirmation, an evaluation of the accuracy of the observer's rukyat with astronomical data, and an examination of the validity of the methods used.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the factors that influence the effectiveness of supervision in education, focusing on various theories of supervision such as clinical, formative, reflective, and transformational supervision. Using a qualitative research design with a case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis in several schools. Thematic analysis was used to identify the main themes from the data obtained. The results of the study indicate that the effectiveness of supervision is influenced by the quality of communication between supervisors and teachers, a clear understanding of the purpose of supervision, and the competence of supervisors in providing constructive feedback. A supportive school context and culture are also very important for teacher professional development. A supervision approach that is tailored to the specific needs of schools and teachers has been shown to be effective in improving the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of a holistic approach to supervision to achieve overall improvements in the quality of education. Recommendations for further research include longitudinal studies and exploration of the use of technology in supervision to support further teacher professional development
