Abstract

COVID-19 is a disease that has become a global pandemic. The most common comorbidity found in patients with COVID-19 is hypertension by 48%. This can affect psychological conditions that can cause anxiety. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of anxiety of hypertension sufferers during the COVID-19 pandemic in the city of Yogyakarta, with a descriptive design. The research subjects were 96 respondents who were selected by accidental sampling technique. Data were collected by measuring instrument in the form of a questionnaire, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that the most gender was male (53.1%), the most age was 31-44 years (42.7%), the most education was junior high school (26.0%), the most occupation was other (32.3%), environmental conditions were exposed to COVID-19 (76.0%), a history of hypertension for 1-5 years was 83.3% and the level of anxiety was not anxious: 28.1%, mild anxiety: 63 .5%, and moderate anxiety: 8.3%. It can be concluded that most people with hypertension in the city of Yogyakarta experience mild anxiety.Keywords: COVID-19; anxiety level; hypertension ABSTRAK COVID-19 merupakan penyakit yang sudah menjadi global pademic. Komorbid yang banyak ditemukan pada penderita COVID-19 yaitu hipertensi sebesar 48%. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi kondisi psikologis yang dapat menimbulkan kecemasan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kecemasan penderita hipertensi selama masa pandemi COVID-19 di kota Yogyakarta, dengan desain deskriptif. Subyek penelitian adalah 96 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan alat ukur berupa kuesioner, selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kelamin terbanyak adalah laki-laki (53,1%), usia terbanyak adalah 31-44 tahun (42,7%), pendidikan terbanyak adalah SMP (26,0%), pekerjaan terbanyak adalah lain-lain (32,3%), kondisi lingkungan ada yang terpapar COVID-19 (76,0%), riwayat hipertensi selama 1-5 tahun sebanyak 83,3% dan tingkat kecemasan adalah tidak cemas: 28,1%, kecemasan ringan: 63,5%, dan kecemasan sedang: 8,3%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar penderita hipertensi di Kota Yogyakarta mengalami kecemasan ringan.Kata kunci: COVID-19; tingkat kecemasan; hipertensi

Abstract

Background of StudyDiabetes mellitus (DM) is a collection of symptoms in a person caused by an increase in blood glucose levels due to a progressive decrease in insulin secretion by insulin resistance. Non-pharmacological therapy that can be used for patients with diabetes mellitus in controlling blood glucose levels is one of them with progressive muscle relaxation therapyMethods : The writing of this scientific paper uses a descriptive method in the form of a study. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 1 personResults : A case study conducted on Bp. S with a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus and the main symptoms that appear are body weakness, headache and GDS 784mg/dL. The results showed that progressive muscle relaxation therapy was carried out for two days twice a day, on the first day before the intervention, blood glucose levels were 278mg/dL and after blood glucose levels were 277mg/dL, on the second day before the intervention, blood glucose levels were 299mg. /dL after intervention blood glucose levels 290mg/dL.Conclusion : This case study shows that progressive muscle relaxation in patients with diabetes mellitus can reduce blood glucose levels.Keywords : Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Diabetes Mellitus, Blood Glucose Level
