Abstract

Latar belakang isu terkait pandemi Covid-19 membuat pemerintah memberikan metode pendidikanalternatif bagi siswa yang belajar online di rumah. Karena guru tidak dapat mengawasi kegiatanpembelajaran, peran ini digantikan oleh orang tua. Peran yang perlu dimainkan oleh orang tua adalahmemberikan bantuan belajar online kepada anak-anak serta perkembangan sosial dan emosional yangterjadi pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran orang tua dalam bantuanpembelajaran online untuk perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak. Jenis penelitian ini adalahpenelitian kualitatif dan deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini adalah orang tua dan siswa. Tujuan daripenelitian ini adalah peran orang tua dalam bantuan pembelajaran online untuk perkembangan sosialdan emosional anak. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisisdata menggunakan reduksi data, tampilan data, grafik kesimpulan / verifikasi, dan analisis data yangdigunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran orangtua dalam bantuan pembelajaran online untuk perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak adalah bahwaanak belajar mengembangkan kesadaran diri, belajar mengambil keputusan pribadi, belajarmenghadapi emosi, belajar menghadapi stres, belajar berempati, dan belajar berkomunikasi. , Belajarterbuka, belajar mengembangkan pemahaman. , Belajar menerima diri sendiri, belajar mengambiltanggung jawab pribadi, belajar membangun kepercayaan diri, mempelajari dinamika tim dan belajarmenyelesaikan konflik.

Abstract

The Indonesian government implements and develops several standards and certifications which must be completed by business actors as an effort to improve the quality and competitiveness of MSME products. One of them is the Home Industry Food Production Certificate (SPP-IRT). Kapongan village is one of the well-known rengginang producing areas. However, many rengginang products produced by IRT do not yet have a PIRT permit. This PKM activity aims to increase knowledge and understanding of Rengginang Mentari business actors about the importance of PIRT for a food product. There are four stages in this community service method: preparation, implementation, evaluation and follow-up plans. The socialization was carried out on June 10 2023 with the following materials: 1) Definition of IRT, SPP-IRT and No PIRT, 2) Procedure for submitting SPP-IRT to the Situbondo District Health Office, 3) Procedures for Inspecting Household Industry Food Production Facilities, and 4) Benefits of having SPP-IRT.

Abstract

This study analyzes the utilization of wall magazines as a medium to enhance students’ reading literacy skills, particularly in understanding factual and opinion-based texts, at SDN 01 Mendayun. The background of the study highlights the suboptimal use of wall magazines in schools, despite their potential to stimulate students’ interest in reading and support literacy development. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved ten fifth-grade students, of whom six were selected through purposive sampling to represent high, medium, and low literacy performance. Data were collected through literacy tests, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal variations in students’ literacy abilities based on Newman’s indicators: reading, comprehension, and encoding. High-performing students demonstrated strong reading accuracy and the ability to distinguish factual from opinion statements, while medium-performing students showed partial understanding but struggled in articulating conclusions. Low-performing students exhibited significant challenges, particularly in comprehension and drawing conclusions. The study concludes that wall magazines play a supportive role in increasing students’ reading interest and reading accuracy, yet their effectiveness requires consistent teacher guidance, structured learning activities, and regular content updates. These findings underscore the importance of optimizing wall magazine use as an engaging literacy-learning medium in elementary schools.
