Abstract

This research is a qualitative research using qualitative descriptive research. Participants in this study consisted of 20 students and 4 parents. The selection of subjects in this study was carried out by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the study showed that the motivation of students to learn online during the Covid-19 pandemic was included in the good category. Whereas from the results of data processing, 20 of them obtained 4 students with very good criteria (81%), 14 students with good criteria (61%), and 2 students with sufficient criteria (41%). The role of parents in motivating students to learn online is in the good category. This can be seen from good parental education that can help when students experience learning difficulties. Parents' work affects the family economy and with a good job it will get a good income so that it supports student learning facilities.

Abstract

The denser an area is, the denser the traffic movement will be. When the vehicle makes a u-turn movement, it can cause congestion because the vehicle doing a u-turn causes the vehicle volume to get higher and the vehicle speed lower.   Jalan A. Yani Km. 35 in Banjarbaru city South Kalimantan province is one of the road sections that connect people to and from the city center.  The road has median and median openings to coordinate the u-turn movement.  This study aims to determine the performance of traffic that is affected by u-turn and not affected by u-turn.   The research was conducted using a field survey method that included traffic volume, vehicle speed and geometric road conditions. The method for analyzing data uses conventional methods (Greenshield, Greenberg, and Underwood models), and the best model relationship is obtained, namely the Greenshield model. From the calculation results of the Level of Service, for road conditions affected by the u-turn LOS the dominant E was 68% with a saturation degree value ranging from 0.88 – 1.00, which occurred at 16.00 – 17.30 CIT and 17.30 – 21.00 CIT.  Meanwhile, road conditions that are not affected by the u-turn LOS obtained  C of 72% with a saturation degree value ranging from 0.45 – 0.60.Keywords: Level of Service, Merger, Traffic Flow Characteristics, U-Turn

Abstract

K-Means is a non-hierarchical data clustering method that can group data into several clusters based on data similarity, so that data with the same characteristics are grouped in one cluster and data with different characteristics are grouped in another cluster. The K-Means method can be used to process various data, including for clustering in the field of education. The use of the K-Means algorithm has been widely carried out but not many activities have been handled and are only often used for selection or acceptance activities and the use of attributes that must be reproduced to get optimal results. In this study, we will review various papers that perform clustering using the K-Means method for research in the field of education. Based on our research, papers related to the use of the K-Means algorithm for clustering in education have proved feasible and useful for future research. So it can be concluded that the K-Means method has been tested to be used for clustering in the field of education and the K-Means method can be useful in many aspects of education, both having an impact on educators, students and other educational aspects.

Abstract

Sign systems that are still traditional are considered less effective and are starting to be replaced by digital because they can save resources and time compared to having to meet in person the traditional way. According to several studies that have been reviewed previously, the use of digital signatures using a QR Code based on a website has proven to be effective and efficient to implement. At this time the use of digital signatures has begun to be used in various places, because signatures that are done manually using a wet pen are considered less efficient because it requires a long process and is easy to manipulate, which causes the validity of the signature to decrease. . With these problems, we developed a Website-Based Digital Signature System for the Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Study Program, State University of Jakarta by applying the scrum method. Scrum is an additional responsive framework for developing software and managing product or application development. Scrum is a complex process in which many factors affect the final result. Based on our development, we conclude that it is proven that the existence of a website-based signature application using a QR Code can make the signature process more efficient and effective and can increase the level of validity of the signature because QR Codes are difficult to manipulate. that we created can be applied in many places and reduce the problem of the length of the process of requesting a signature.
