Abstract

Spices are one of the raw materials needed for basic ingredients for food, beverages and medicines, of which the State of Indonesia is one of the spice producers who is ranked first in the world. Spices can be found in Traditional Markets and Modern Markets, however, there has been a drastic decline in spice buyers in Traditional Markets during the current Covid-19 pandemic. This has an impact on one of the traditional markets in the city of Palembang, namely "Pasar Km 5" so that it affects the income or economy of spice sellers. Therefore, in this research, a solution is designed that can be used to solve problems that occur by utilizing digital media that can be operated online. By using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, the researcher applies the MIT App Inventor to the android application development process which aims to introduce types of spices and as a marketing medium for spices. The RAD method has several stages, namely Requirements Planning, User Design (Prototype, Test, Refine), Construction and Cutover. This android application will be applied to the "Km 5 Market" to test its usefulness to suit the purpose of being a solution to the problem of spice sellers. After that, this android application will be used for several other traditional markets in Indonesia so that this android application is can named "Go Rempah" which will be a source of information and marketing of spices originating from Indonesia.

Abstract

Internet network security in a company is critical. Currently, the use of wireless devices as a local data traffic controller is very widely used. However, this tool is vulnerable to network security breaches if it is not accompanied by excellent security of the network system. PT. Taspen (Persero) Palembang has problems with the Wireless network and does not have an excellent security system. It causes users who are not employees to use the internet network at the company, making employee operations slow and vulnerable to burglary. Therefore, in this PKM activity, RADIUS Technology is applied as internal network security. Every user who wants to access the internet network at the company must first log in. This activity aims to train employees of PT. Taspen (Persero) Palembang to access a wifi network that uses RADIUS Technology. It starts from accessing the wifi network, logging in, to logging out of the wifi network. This activity is carried out online by utilizing the Zoom Meeting application. The results obtained indicate that the network system security of PT. Taspen (Persero) is increasing, and all of its employees can access a wifi network that has implemented RADIUS Technology

Abstract

Internet or interconnection in the digital era is closely related to everyday life from children to adults as an assistive medium in carrying out and connecting various human activities effectively, accurately, and efficiently. The internet is also a communication network that connects one electronic media with other electronic media quickly and precisely. Moreover, at this time, we are currently hit by the COVID 19 pandemic. Online learning is a regulation issued by the Government as a preventive measure against COVID 19, and the quality of online learning media can influence its effectiveness. This community service aims to educate 20's students of SMK Nurul Huda Pemulutan Barat about the healthy internet as a learning medium in their daily lives. Abstract

Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi merupakan kewajiban bagi Dosen dimana salah satunya adalah Pengembangan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Adapun tujuan utama dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada peserta pelatihan. Objek Pelatihan Pengabdian Kepada Masyrakat yaitu di SMK Madyatama Palembang. Pelatihan yang diberikan Pengenalan tentang Database. Sehingga siswa-siswi SMK Madyatama Palembang dapat  membangun tekonologi informasi dalam membuat sebuah Database yang baik dan lebih terarah. Dengan adanya Pelatihan ini diharapkan siswa – siswi SMK Madyatama Palembang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam Pengenalan dan Pembuatan Database di SMK Madyatama Palembang, Dengan Pelatihan ini diharapkan bisa di terapkan teknologi informasi yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The website contains a lot of information and data that must protect. Input and output aspects of communication have a significant role in a service website to provide accurate information and avoid misinformation due to an imperfect system. Various system tests have been tried to identify the advantages and disadvantages of a web-based data system. This study uses a black box checking out procedure. In black field checking out, there are several testing techniques. This check uses boundary value analysis and functional testing. The boundary value analysis method plays tests based on the most suitable and minimum variety of digits to create fair and invalid values. The early tiers of this test are figuring out the functionality of the shape to be processed and ensuring the most excellent and minimum range of entering characters. The consequences of this research are in the form of records containing the harm to the device so that machine managers can improve the machine's quality in serving users or customers.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool used by teachers to convey subject matter to students or media used by students to deliver assignments given by the teacher. In this training activity, computer-based learning media were introduced for presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, which students of SMP Patra Mandiri 2 Palembang could use to present assignments given by the teacher to the front of the class with attractive shapes and appearances. Community Service Activities (PKM) in the form of training are carried out for two days, in which students are required to be able to make presentation materials using Microsoft PowerPoint and present the material they made in front of the computer laboratory room. This activity is carried out in direct and interactive practice, where students directly practice the material provided by the PKM Team, and students can also have direct discussions with the PKM Team. Before implementing the training activities, students were given a written knowledge test to determine the level of students' understanding of the training material to be delivered. Only 20% of the student participants often made materials using Microsoft PowerPoint. After two days of implementing this training activity, an evaluation was carried out regarding the knowledge and abilities of the student participants in creating and presenting material using Microsoft PowerPoint. From the evaluation results, it can be seen that all student participants have succeeded in making presentation materials using Microsoft PowerPoint and some student participants are also able to present the material in front of the class

Abstract

Scheduling courses is a problem that must be faced at every turn of the semester in every academic year at a university. The main problem is how to combine class, time, space, and teaching lecturers so that there are no clashes with each other. Currently, the English Department of the Sriwijaya State Polytechnic does not yet have a computerized scheduling system, so the scheduling process is still not effective and takes a long time. Based on these problems, an appropriate algorithm is needed, namely the genetic algorithm because it can shorten the time of making schedules and overcome schedule conflicts so that scheduling is more optimal. Specific rules in the genetic algorithm include population formation, individual fitness value calculations, selection calculations, crossbreeding processes, mutation processes and generation updates. The development method used is the RUP system. The programming language used is PHP and the database uses MySQL. The expected result of this research is an optimal course schedule and there are no clashes between courses, between lecturers, hours and time of lectures.

Abstract

Percepatan teknologi, arus informasi bergerak sangat dinamis serta kilat pertumbuhan ini membuat banyak transformasi dalam dunia pembelajaran, salah satunya pengembangan serta pemanfaatan satu buah sistem alias website sekolah. Website sekolah dikala ini sebagai tren didunia pembelajaran serta mendapatkan atensi, tangapan yang luar biasa bagus dari bermacam pihak baik dari tenaga pembelajaran, siswa serta jua masyarakat. Dengan website sekolah seluruh pihak dapat meyakini khasiat dari webiste sekolah, web ini dikhususkan buat pelajar dari sekolah bawah sampai sekolah menengah dan para guru. Banyak perihal yang bisa dicoba di web sekolah ini salah satunya bisa mengupdate seluruh aktivitas dari gambar sampai artikel dari aktivitas siswa siswi serta para dewan guru. Aktivitas pengabdian masyarakat ini dicoba dengan metode ceramah serta praktikum yang langsung dicoba oleh Team bersumber pada tugas masing masing yang bertujuan buat bisa menggunakan pengelolahan content web di SMA Fitra Abdi Palembang yang terdiri dari guru, staff serta siswa. Keuntungan website ini sendiri bisa di akses serta di baca oleh seluruh orang. Sistem ini di desain buat pendidikan berlangsung online e-learning, semacam pengerjaan soal-soal kompetensi buat siswa sampai perpustakaan go-digital yang berisikan modul pendidikan siswa siswi yang bersifat online.

Abstract

Salah satu dampak yang paling menonjol dari penggunaan teknologi informasi yaitu pada bidang marketing, dimana marketing pada saat ini telah banyak yang beralih pada dunia digital seperti menggunakan Whatapp, Instagram, Tiktok dan lain-lain. Dalam melakukan promosi penjualan, masyarakat lebih memilih menggunakan media digital Marketing. Masyarakat sudah banyak yang mulai beralih ke pemasaran modern dan berangsur-angsur meninggalkan cara pemasaran yang tradisional. Pelatihan Digital Marketing ini kami lakukan secara daring melalui zoom meeting pada siswa SMK Negeri 2 Prabumulih. Pelatihan ini berjalan dengan lancar dan semua peserta sangat antusias dan bersemangat dalam mengikutinya. Diharapkan dengan pelatihan ini siswa dan siswi dapat lebih memanfaatkan teknologi dengan tepat dan benar serta memanfaatkannya lebih ke arah positif.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang terdapat pada desa rambutan dapat dikatakan telah maju akan tetapi pendidikan tentang teknologi komputer masih jauh belum berkembang terkhusus siswa maupun anak-anak desa rambutan yang masih buta terhadap teknologi komputer. Pemanfaatan teknologi komputer, yang salah satunya internet dapat dimaksimalkan untuk proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dalam membaca, berpikir kritis serta melakukan integrasi terhadap satu sumber bacaan dengan sumber bacaan lainnya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memiliki tujuan dalam mengenalkan media aplikasi google untuk pembelajaran pada SDN 15 di desa rambutan secara pelatihan berkelompok. Aplikasi google dengan memanfaatkan internet dinilai menjadi salah satu media pembelajaran yang mudah untuk dipahami serta digunakan baik guru maupun siswa. Pelaksanaan pelatihan ini juga menerangkan bagaimana proses pemanfaatan aplikasi google. Adapun materi pada pelatihan ini yaitu pemanfaatan google search, youtube, gmail, google meet, google drive dan google form. Hasil pelatihan terhadap siswa SDN 15 yaitu siswa telah paham dasar dari penggunaan komputer serta mampu memanfaatkan aplikasi google dalam proses pembelajaran. Secara khusus, pelatihan ini memberikan suatu kemudahan untuk siswa dalam memahami materi saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung dengan memberikan sentuhan perubahan di sektor Pendidikan menuju arah yang lebih baik dan juga memberikan materi yang bernilai inovatif dan efektif.
