Abstract

Pengolahan data presensi siswa di MTs N 1 Bantul masih dilakukan secara manual karena presensi siswa masih disimpan di buku. Sistem manual ini memiliki beberapa kelemahan, antara lain memungkinkan terjadinya kesalahan data presensi siswa yang tercatat dalam buku. Kemudian juga mempersulit dalam pencarian data siswa jika ingin membuat laporan rekap presensi siswa, orang tua murid harus menunggu rapat wali murid atau saat akhir semester untuk mengetahui keaktifan anaknya dalam mengikuti kegiatan belajar di sekolah.  Sistem ini dibangun untuk membantu wali murid dalam memonitoring siswa sekolah dengan memanfaatkan SMS Gateway. Pada sistem ini admin bertugas menginputkan data guru dan siswa, selanjutnya guru akan menginputkan data presensi yang kemudian sistem akan mengirimkan pesan kepada orang tua murid sesuai dengan format yang sudah ditentukan oleh sistem. Dengan dibangunnya sistem informasi presensi siswa ini diharapkan mampu dijadikan solusi untuk membantu siswa dan wali murid dalam mendapatkan informasi presensi siswa.   Kata Kunci : SMS gateway, presensi, web, sistem informasi

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan saat ini masih seperti yang ada disekolahan pada umumnya, guru mengajar di dalam kelas dengan fasilitas papan tulis dan buku pelajaran. Sejauh ini metode tersebut masih terbilang efektif namun masih kurang maksimal, karena metode pembelajaran tersebut masih bisa ditingkatkan lagi dengan metode-metode yang lebih modern pada saat ini. Media pembelajaran dapat berupa aplikasi multimedia dan aplikasi Android. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini dilakukan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Android untuk menunjang pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran ini nantinya akan mengacu pada kurikulum yang digunakan pada sekolah. Media pembelajaran ini juga akan didesain dengan simple tapi tetap menarik, pemaparan tentang materi-materi sesuai dengan kurikulum, serta ada soal-soal latihan agar siswa bisa belajar lebih maksimal. Selain dapat digunakan pada Android, aplikasi yang dibuat dapat digunakan pada komputer. Pembuatan media pembelajaran ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dalam pembelajaran, oleh karena itu kita diharapkan untuk dapat memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi dengan sebaik-baiknya sehingga menjadi sesuatu yang bermanfaat baik bagi diri sendiri maupun bagi orang lain.

Abstract

Minimizing waste with independent waste management realizes the 3-R principle, one of which is the waste bank program. There are 448 waste banks in the entire city of Yogyakarta, which is about 73% of the total RW in the city of Yogyakarta. However, from this data, the visual form of the spatial distribution of waste banks in Yogyakarta City has yet to be discovered with certainty. This quantitative research analyzes the distribution pattern of waste banks in Yogyakarta City using the Nearest Neighbor Analysis method. The objectives of this study are (1) to determine the visual form of the spatial distribution of waste banks in the city of Yogyakarta; (2) to analyze the distribution pattern of waste banks in the city of Yogyakarta. The results are (1) The visual form of the spatial distribution of waste banks in Yogyakarta City is spread in almost all areas of Yogyakarta City, with an area of 32.5 km2. Waste Banks that have been plotted locations are 448 waste banks; (2) The distribution pattern of the waste bank in the city of Yogyakarta is dispersed or uniform/regular distribution pattern.

Abstract

Kotagede silver crafts are a cultural heritage that has existed since the 17th century. Based on Yogyakarta City Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2015 concerning the Yogyakarta City Tourism Development Master Plan for 2015-2025, Kotagede is one of the regional tourism strategic areas. However, on the other hand, the number of silversmiths in Kotagede is decreasing. This is due to sales competition with imported casting products. So many craftsmen have switched professions to other sectors. This service activity was held to increase silversmiths' competitiveness in selling through social media. This service activity allows silversmiths to independently plan and create social media content for online marketing needs. Community service in copywriting training and social media management in the Kotagede silver craft home industry aims to enable partners to optimize their social media for online marketing needs. This event was held at the Grand Rohan Hotel, Bantul, DIY, on July 15, 2023. It was attended by community service partner participants, namely Haseena Jewelry, which focuses on marketing jewelry and silver craft products. This training presents resource persons from social media marketing practitioners. This training includes a greater understanding of creating engaging copywriting and social media management. The training results showed increased knowledge, as evidenced by the pretest and posttest scores. The average pretest score was 27.7, while the average posttest score was 77.3. This indicates that the participants' understanding before and after the training increased. In addition, the participants could plan and create social media content according to the intended segmentation. Participants can demonstrate a deeper understanding of copywriting and managing social media.

Abstract

Undervolt is a term that refers to a way to make a computer device run on lower electrical power than the manufacturer's provisions. To do undervolting requires a good experience for user and computer devices that are good or specialized for undervolt purposes such as processors. This study aims to find the optimal minimum voltage that the processor can use without causing performance degradation or instability, and temperature drops that the processor produces while it is running. In this study, the author tested a processor device with the type of AMD Ryzen that already supports the undervolting process from the factory. AMD Ryzen 3 2200G processor is one of the processors with 14nm fabrication, where this processor promises significant performance with the number of cores, memory chace capacity, and power efficiency. On this day, many games demand the use of an aggressive processor. Of course, this will consume power on a larger processor. The author conducted several test scenarios to get the best performance. It was found that the scenario with undervolt at 1.25V showed the best performance.

Abstract

In an effort to optimize laptop performance for gaming and high-demand applications without costly hardware upgrades, this research investigates the impact of CPU undervoltage using the AMD Ryzen Mobile 4600H processor. Undervolting, the process of reducing the CPU's voltage supply, is proposed as a strategy to enhance performance by lowering operational temperatures, potentially allowing for more efficient processing. This study uses the AMD APU Tuning Utility to adjust voltage settings and assesses performance changes using a series of benchmarks. Initial findings indicate that undervoltage can indeed have beneficial effects. The most significant data point from the research is the comparison of Cinebench R23 scores before and after applying undervolting settings. From a baseline score of 6835 points, system performance increased to 7880 points in the optimal undervolting scenario, an improvement of 1045 points. This shows a noticeable enhancement in processing efficiency. However, the study also reveals some complexities in undervolting, such as an initial drop in performance in the first configuration before gains are realized in subsequent adjustments. Efficiency values varied across different settings, starting with a decrease (-0.41) and culminating in a substantial gain (+1.54) by the fourth configuration. These results suggest that while undervolting can improve performance, the outcomes depend significantly on finding the right voltage balance, highlighting the nuanced nature of CPU voltage manipulation for performance optimization.

Abstract

Recently, waste has become an extraordinary phenomenon that has attracted the attention of all levels of society: authorities, local governments, environmentalists, and regional stakeholders at the village level. Based on DIY Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2013 concerning the Management of Household Waste and Waste Similar to Household Waste and Sleman Regency Regional Regulation No. 6 of 2023 concerning the Implementation of Waste Management, efforts to minimize the amount of waste are made by each waste bank collaborating with TPS3R in Sleman Regency. Based on temporary data from 178 waste banks, there are 97 active waste banks and 32 TPS3R in Sleman Regency. The objectives of this study are (1) To determine the distribution pattern of active waste banks in Sleman Regency and (2) To determine the accessibility of active waste banks to TPS3R locations. This study uses the nearest neighbour analysis method, and the accessibility of active waste bank locations to TPS3R locations is measured using the buffering method—data processing using a Geographic Information System (GIS). The results of this study indicate (1) the distribution pattern of active waste banks in Sleman Regency based on the nearest neighbour ratio value is 0.861485 (<1), indicating a spatial pattern that tends to be clustered or spread in groups; (2) the accessibility of active waste banks to the TPS3R location has not shown an even pattern, from 32 TPS3R only 10 TPS3R have two waste banks, the rest 0 - 8 waste banks. The buffering distance shows that the closer the two locations are, the more effective and efficient waste management will be, with a maximum accessibility distance of 4.1 km.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) yang dilakukan pada CV Kurnia Jaya bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) sebagai alat promosi untuk desain rumah. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini melibatkan beberapa tahap, termasuk analisis kebutuhan, pembuatan model 3D, pengembangan aplikasi VR, pelatihan mitra, dan evaluasi berkala. Model 3D dibuat menggunakan SketchUp, dan aplikasi VR dikembangkan dengan Unity 3D, memungkinkan pengguna untuk melakukan tur virtual interaktif dan imersif dari desain rumah. Pelatihan diberikan untuk memastikan penggunaan aplikasi secara efektif. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan minat dan pemahaman konsumen terhadap desain rumah yang ditawarkan oleh CV Kurnia Jaya. Penggunaan teknologi VR meningkatkan upaya promosi, membuat visualisasi desain rumah lebih realistis dan menarik. Kegiatan PkM ini menunjukkan potensi teknologi VR dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas promosi produk di industri property.

Abstract

Information technology has penetrated into all lines of life both for economic, social and educational needs. In the education sector technology is used for the needs of supporting the teaching and learning process and also used for school management. PKK Kindergarten Kalitirto is one of the places for early education in the Berbah sub-district, Sleman district. With the rapid development of technology at this time, PKK Kindergarten Kalitirto is still quite behind in terms of the facilities used. On the teaching and learning activities PKK Kindergarten Kalitirto also wants to have multimedia learning in addition to the existing manual learning media. However, due to budget constraints where the average parents of Kalitirtio PKK Kindergarten students are in the middle to lower economic class, the procurement of multimedia learning is considered quite difficult. From the problems mentioned above, in this service the provision of multimedia-based learning facilities and training in their use are carried out. It is hoped that PKK Kindergarten Kalitirto teachers can independently use existing multimedia learning for teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Due to inadequate handling, fire disasters often result in significant losses and even loss of life. A fire detection system is essential, especially in places prone to fire. In this study, a digital image-based IoT system was built using the YOLO (You Only Look Once) algorithm to detect and provide fire warnings quickly and accurately. This research was conducted to develop a fire detection system from existing research on IoT devices by combining it with digital image processing technology with the YOLOv8 algorithm, as well as integrating the IoT system into the Telegram instant messaging application. This study also combines a fire detection system with a fire sensor, MQ-2 temperature sensor, and MQ-2 smoke sensor. The study results show that the YOLOv8 nano model with ESP32-CAM can detect small flames from candles up to a distance of 220 cm. The ESP32 fire sensor can detect small flames up to a distance of 90 cm and large flames up to a distance of 140 cm. VPS can be sent to the Telegram application, just as the LM35 temperature sensor detects temperatures above 50ºC and the MQ-2 smoke sensor detects smoke levels above 450 ppm. All data obtained can be displayed on the VPS dashboard and the Telegram application.
