Abstract

Internet has become indispensable to the modern society nowadays. Due to the dynamic nature of human activities, the evolving mobile technology has played a significant role and it is reflected in the exponential growth of the number of mobile users globally. However, the characteristic of the Internet as an open network made it vulnerable to various malicious activities. To secure communication at network layer, IETF recommended IPsec as a security feature. Mobile IPv6 as the successor of the current mobile technology, Mobile IPv4, also mandated the use of IPsec. However, since IPsec is a set of security algorithm, it has several well-known weaknesses such as bootstrapping issue when generating a security association as well as complex key exchange mechanism. It is a well-known fact that IPsec has a high overhead especially when implemented on Mobile IPv6 and used on limited energy devices such as mobile devices. This paper aims to enhance the IPsec performance by substituting the existing key exchange algorithm with a lightweight elliptic curve algorithm. The experiments managed to reduce the delay of IPsec in Mobile IPv6 by 67% less than the standard implementation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Obesitas termasuk salah satu masalah kesehatan yang membuat risau kalangan masyarakat. Peningkatan prevalensi obesitas terjadi di Negara maju dan berkembang. Obesitas juga berisiko pada remaja.  Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dengan penyediaan program Sistem Informasi Pemantauan Obesitas Remaja (SIFORTASIMA) yang berpihak pada remaja, murah, mudah digunakan, aman dan aman untuk diakses setiap waktu diharapkan mampu menjawab kebutuhan remaja di sekolah pada saat ini. SIFORTASIMA sebagai media promosi pemantauan obesitas yang merupakan program PKM dari, oleh, dan untuk remaja di sekolah. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan memberikan pendidikn kesehatan dan pelatihan tentang monitoring mandiri menggunakan Sistem Informasi Pemantauan Obesitas Remaja (SIFORTASIMA) pada remaja. Kegiatan ini memberikan hasil berupa peningkatan pengetahuan pada remaja sasarannya pada sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan proses pendidikan kesehatan dan pelatihan berkaitan dengan penggunaan aplikasi SIFORTASIMA. Disarankan supaya remaja dapat menggunakan aplikasi dengan teratur supaya dapat mengendalikan dan mencegah terjadinya obesitas. Namun pihak orang tua dan guru tetap harus melakukan pemantauan dalam penggunaan aplikasi ini. Kata Kunci: Obesitas, Remaja, SIFORTASIMA  ABSTRACT Obesity is one of the health problems that worries the community. The increasing prevalence of obesity occurs in both developed and developing countries. Obesity is also a risk in adolescents. Community service activities are carried out by providing the Adolescent Obesity Monitoring Information System (SIFORTASIMA) program that is pro-adolescent, inexpensive, easy to use, safe and secure to be accessed at any time. SIFORTASIMA as a promotional media for obesity monitoring which is a PKM program from, by, and for teenagers in schools. The method used in this community service activity is to provide health education and training on independent monitoring using the Adolescent Obesity Monitoring Information System (SIFORTASIMA) in adolescents. This activity resulted in an increase in knowledge of the target youth before and after the process of health education and training related to the use of the SIFORTASIMA application. It is recommended that adolescents can use the application regularly in order to control and prevent obesity. Abstract

Obesity is one of the major chronic health problems, both in developed and developing countries suchas Indonesia. Lifestyles that change rapidly, including diet and activity, cause an increase in the prevalenceof obesity in children aged 5-19 years, which occurs in developing countries. This condition indicates that theproblem of obesity in adolescents requires resolution of the individual adolescents themselves as well as therole of the surrounding environment as part of health management, namely from teachers, parents and peers.This activity aims to provide health education and training to parents, teachers, and adolescent peers relatedto preventing obesity that occurs in adolescents. This activity resulted in an increase in the knowledge ofparents, teachers, and peers from before and after health education and training. It is recommended thatschools continue to carry out health education related to obesity in collaboration with puskesmas and thehealth office.

Abstract

In telecommunications equipment, an oscillator has a function to generate a carrier signal. As the carrier signal, a high stability performance is required. The frequency shift caused by component tolerances. In this research, a Monte-Carlo method was used to analyze a component tolerance on the performance of the oscillator at a frequency 2.3 GHz. A simulation was performed by software Advance Design System (ADS). In this research, the iterations were carried out as many as 212 times with tolerance component values by 10%. The analyzed performance consists of a fundamental frequency shift, a phase noise, the value of power fundamental, and a harmonic power. Meanwhile, the oscillator has a structure of bias BJT common base-bias BFR183 with Vcc = 20 V, Vce = 8.2 V and Ic = 15 mA and a dielectric resonator as a resonator. The oscillator has a fundamental frequency 2.3 GHz, phase noise -135.6 dBc / Hz, power fundamental 10.8 dBm, and harmonic power -11.2 dBm. The simulation results showed that the oscillator has a good performance with a high degree of stability on a fundamental frequency by 73%, stability phase noise 100%, stability power fundamental 64%, and stability harmonic power 61%. This simulation has a confidence level of 95.4%, an error ± 3%, and the estimation accuracy 95%.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Diare merupakan penyakit yang ditandai dengan berubahnya bentuk tinja dengan intensitas buang air besar secara berlebihan (lebih dari 3 kali dalam kurun waktu satu hari). Berdasarkan data Riskesdas 2018, prevalensi diare pada balita di Indonesia pada tahun 2013-2018 berdasarkan diagnosis sebesar 11% serta berdasarkan diagnosis dan gejala sebesar 12,3%. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan edukasi pendidikan kesehatan terhadap ibu yang mempunyai anak balita dalam pencegahan diare pada balita. Metode dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pemberian pendidikan kesehatan tentang diare dan pelatihan dalam pembuatan oralit. Setelah dilakukan kegiatan implementasi dalam mengatasi masalah kesehatan pada agregat balita didapatkan hasil adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan yang baik pada orang tua dengan balita dalam mengatasi masalah kesehatan. Kesimpulannya adalah pengetahuan orang tua yang memiliki anak balita mengalami peningkatan setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan. Keterampilan dalam pembuatan oralit sendiri di rumah mengalami peningkatan setelah dilakukan demonstrasi dan redemonstrasi dalam pembuatan oralit di rumah. Kata Kunci: Balita, Diare, Oralit, Pendidikan Kesehatan  ABSTRACT Diarrhea is a disease characterized by changes in the form of feces with excessive intensity of defecation (more than 3 times in one day). Based on the 2018 Riskesdas data, the prevalence of diarrhea in toddlers in Indonesia in 2013-2018 was based on a diagnosis of 11% and based on a diagnosis and symptoms of 12.3%. The purpose of this activity is to provide health education education to mothers who have toddlers in preventing diarrhea in toddlers. The method in this community service activity is the provision of health education about diarrhea and training in making ORS. After carrying out implementation activities in overcoming health problems in the aggregate of toddlers, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge, attitudes and skills that were good for parents with toddlers in dealing with health problems. The conclusion is that the knowledge of parents who have children under five has increased after health education has been carried out. Skills in making ORS at home have increased after demonstrations and demonstrations in making ORS at home. Keywords : Toddlers, Diarrhea, ORS, Health Education

Abstract

In this research, a triangular patch microstrip antenna with a back-to-back structure technique has been designed to obtain Bidirectional radiation patterns operating at a frequency of ADSB 1090 MHz. The back-to-back structure technique using 2 substrate layers stacked together to form a single microstrip antenna component. As a result, the antenna has 2 patches on both sides of the microstrip, and the feedline is located between the 2 substrate layers. This antenna was designed using simulation software with an FR-4 substrate material. The parameter values obtained from the simulation at a frequency of 1090 MHz are: Return loss -15.4 dB, VSWR 1.4, Bandwidth 17.2 MHz, and Impedance 46.02 Ω.

Abstract

The application of postmodernism theory in the practice of state administrative law supervision in the case study of the Ombudsman institution uses library research. This activity is related to library data collection methods. Postmodernism theory can help the Ombudsman understand that reality is not objective or measurable. The influence of postmodernism theory on the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia can influence their approach in conducting oversight of the government. However, they must consider the challenges and find the right balance between an inclusive approach and objective standards to ensure fairness and truth in their oversight.

Abstract

Electrical capacitance volume tomography (ECVT) is an imaging technique based on the object’s capacitance value. To provide a representative image of the object under study, the ECVT system requires a method that can measure the capacitance value in the order of picofarads (pF). This level of resolution poses a difficulty for typical commercial capacitance measuring devices, hence raising the need for a specialized method with dedicated signal conditioning circuitry. The capacitance meter based on phase-sensitive demodulation (PSD) is made to solve the aforementioned issue and it is then compared with the characteristics of a capacitance meter-based commercial Arduino setup. The designed PSD-based capacitance measuring device has 97.894% accuracy, precision of 0.704 pF, sensitivity of 0.1197 V/pF, linearity with a coefficient of determination 0.9983, and stability of 0.028 pF/min. In comparison, the capacitance meter based on Arduino has 97.943% accuracy, precision of 0.027 pF, linearity with a coefficient of determination 0.9999, and stability of 0.04 pF/min. Testing is done on an 8-electrode ECVT sensor using dielectric materials of air and water. The nearest electrode pair on the condition of air as the dielectric medium has a capacitance value of 2.62218 pF for PSD-based measuring devices and 3.4027 pF for Arduino-based measuring devices, while the pair of electrodes on the condition of water as a dielectric medium has a capacitance value 9.8229 pF for measuring device based on PSD and 9.1069 pF for Arduino-based measuring devices. The opposite and farthest electrode pair on the condition of air as a dielectric medium has a capacitance value of 0 pF for PSD-based measuring devices and 0,0798pF for Arduino-based measuring devices, while the pair of electrodes on the condition of water as a dielectric medium has a capacitance value of 4.652 pF for PSD-based measuring devices and 0.1224 pF for Arduino-based measuring devices.

Abstract

Road crack detection is critical to road infrastructure maintenance, requiring sophisticated and accurate approaches. This research explores the utilization of a combination of Wavelet and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) methods to improve efficiency and accuracy in detecting cracks in road images. The wavelet method was chosen for its capability to capture information at different scales, enabling improved feature extraction. Meanwhile, CNN was utilized to comprehend the spatial context and tackle image complexity. The research involves several stages, including data collection, pre-processing, decomposition using the Wavelet method, forming of the CNN architecture model, training, testing, and evaluating the result. The tested images involve three main types of cracks: alligator, linear, and images without cracks. The testing results show that the developed model is capable of classifying cracks with an F1-score of 0.96, recall of 0.96, and precision of 0.96. In real-time detection of road cracks, the testing obtained an F1-score of 0.84, recall of 0.92, and precision of 0.77. This research contributes to the advancement of road crack detection technology by leveraging the capabilities of Wavelet and CNN, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of crack detection in road maintenance.
