Abstract

One indicator of the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) was the production process with standard operating procedures. The production process in the home industry business requires good management, including of calculating the production costs. The objectives in this community service were (1) to provide an understanding of the importance of calculating the production cost as a basic for MSMEs in determining the selling price products. (2) to explain the calculation of the production cost for MSMEs as one of strategy in marketing the resulting products. This community service activity was carried out to the home industry MSMEs of LPB Pabanet Partners with the counseling and the presentation method, followed by discussions about the process of determining the production cost related to the business by each MSMEs. The home industry MSMEs participants to be able to take part in the activities well, seemed enthusiastic participants in discussions regarding the calculation of the production cost of businesses by each MSMEs. Through this activity, hoped that the home industry MSMEs could apply calculations for each resulting product in order to determine the selling price product correctly so getting profits with the expectations of MSMEs

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) had an important role in the Indonesian economy, with the creation of domestic products and the ability to absorb labor. In order to maintain the performance of MSMEs to exist and grow up, it was necessary to have a strategy carried out both from internal MSMEs themselves or the stakeholders. The aims of this study was to find out the strategy for developing the MSMEs cluster by using the analytic hierarchy process method. The determination of the sample used was by purposive sampling, namely members of the MSMEs home industry partner of LPB Pabanet, who were active and willing to be respondents with a total of 27 MSMEs. This study used a direct interview to respondents containing questions for clustering MSMEs, then a focus group discussion (FGD) was carried out with experts which aims to explore information used in formulating development strategies of MSME based on clusters. The results showed that based on the analysis using the fuzzy C-means method formed 3 clusters of SMEs. The strategy for the first cluster was on the production process criteria (0,391) with an alternative strategy for obtaining permits of P-IRT (0,351). In second cluster, the criteria with the highest weight was capital (0,395) with alternative strategies for making financial reports regularly (0,863). In the third cluster, the alternative strategy chosen on the marketing criteria (0,547) was to establish a partnership (0,407).

Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyzed rainfall trends from 6 rainfall stations Kajoran, Mendut, Muntilan, Ngablak, Salaman and Tempuran rainfall station in different time scales (monthly, 3-months periodicityand annual). Identification homogenity of the rainfall data period 1986-2016 for Magelang district using Rescaled Adjusted Partial Sums (RAPS) methode. The three non-parametric tests, Mann-Kendall (MK), modified Mann-Kendall (MMK), trend free prewhitening Mann-Kendall (TFPW-MK) and Sen’s slope wereemployed to assess significance of trends and detecting magnitude of trends.The results shows that monthly rainfall have no significant trend using MK, MMK, and TFPW-MK test at 0.05 level significance. Rainfall 3-month based January-February-March (JFM) period Kajoran station have negative significant trend with magnitude 19.4 mm/3-month. Mendut station have positive trend for April-May-June (AMJ) period with magnitude 6.75 mm/3-month. No significant trends at 0.05 level significance using MK trend test were detected in annual rainfall for 6 rainfall stations.

Abstract

Perbandingan Kinerja Model ARIMA Dan Thomas-Fiering Dalam Memprediksi Debit Sungai Loning, Magelang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa data debit bulanan sungai Loning Magelang menggunakan pendekatan stokhastik. Tahap awal adalah melakukan uji konsistensi data debit menggunakan metode Rescaled Adjusted Partial Sums (RAPS) untuk mendeteksi homogenitas data debit. Dua pendekatan stokhastik dalam simulasi debit bulanan sungai Loning adalah model ARIMA dan Thomas-Fiering. Indeks error (RMSE dan MAPE) prediksi dua model tersebut dibandingkan untuk menentukan model yang sesuai dalam mensimulasi debit sungai Loning. Nilai RMSE dan MAPE pada periode prediksi 2014 – 2015 diperoleh sebesar 9.710 lt/dt dan 27.23 %, 11,325 lt/dt dan 32.71 %, berturut-turut untuk model ARIMA dan Thomas-Fiering. Nilai indeks error tersebut mengidikasikan bahwa model ARIMA lebih sesuai untuk simulasi debit bulanan sungai Loning dibandingkan model Thomas-Fiering.

Abstract

Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Manubar terletak di dua wilayah administratif kabupaten sehingga membutuhkan perencanaan pengendalian erosi yang terpadu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui laju erosi dan sebaran spasial tingkat bahaya erosi (TBE) pada DAS Manubar mengunakan model Universal Soil Loss Erosion (USLE) dan aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Metode USLE digunakan untuk mengestimasi erosi, dengan memperhitungkan faktor ersoivitas hujan (R), erodibiltas tanah (K), manajemen tanaman penutup (C), panjang dan kemiringan slope (LS), dan praktik konservasi (P) yang diolah mengunakan program komputer GIS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata erosi DAS Manubar sebesar 22,344 ton/ha/tahun dan termasuk kelas TBE rendah. Luas DAS Manubar dengan tingkat bahaya erosi sangat rendah mencapai 86,5% dengan rata-rata erosi 1,64 ton/ha/tahun, kelas rendah 6,6% dangan rata-rata erosi 33,1 ton/ha/tahun, kelas sedang 4,6% dengan rata-rata erosi 104,2 ton/ha/tahun, kelas berat 1,8% dengan rata-rata erosi 276,1 ton/ha/tahun dan kelas sangat berat 0,6%  dengan rata-rata erosi 1.556 ton/ha/tahun. dari luas total DAS. Jenis penutupan lahan hutan tanaman, pemukiman, perkebunan dan pertanian lahan kering bercampur semak terutama yang berada pada jenis tanah podsolik membutuhkan prioritas usaha pengendalian erosi karena termasuk ke dalam kelas TBE sedang hingga berat.

Abstract

Watershed management requires information on the characteristics of the watershed, particularly its morphometric parameters. The Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques and remote sensing products such as the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) can used in analyzing watershed morphometric parameters. This research aims to determine the Karangan watershed’s morphometric parameter divided into linear, areal, and relief aspects. The study uses Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) DEM data and GIS techniques to obtain morphometric parameters. The drainage network analysis obtained from SRTM DEM data extraction shows that the Karangan watershed has seven river orders with very low drainage density and fine drainage texture. The parameters of drainage density, drainage texture, infiltration number, and constant channel maintenance indicate that the watershed has low surface runoff, making it less susceptible to erosion. The parameters of low bifurcation ratio and high elongation ratio suggest that the shape’s watershed is circular, with the characteristic rainfall quickly concentrated into stream flow. The hypsometric integral value revealed that the Karangan watershed is in the mature geomorphological development phase and dominated by fluvial landforms.

Abstract

Background: People with diabetes mellitus (DM) have a higher tuberculosis (TB) risk. Tuberculosis (TB) and diabetes mellitus (DM) are two diverse conditions of immense public health importance existing for centuries. TB was traditionally identified with poverty while DM was considered as an entity associated with prosperity. Methods: This systematic review focused on full-text English literature published between 2014 and 2024 using the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Editorials and review pieces published in the same journal as the submission without a DOI were not accepted. The literature was compiled using PubMed, ScienceDirect, and SagePub, among other online venues. Result: Ten publications were found to be directly related to our ongoing systematic examination after a rigorous three-level screening approach. Subsequently, a comprehensive analysis of the complete text was conducted, and additional scrutiny was given to these articles. Conclusion: Both DM and TB have been associated with significant morbidity and mortality from time immemorial.

Abstract

Laju infiltrasi ke dalam tanah sangat penting dalam desain irigasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan laju irigasi maksimum di lahan pertanian Kecamatan Sangatta Selatan. Tiga model empiris infiltrasi yaitu model infiltrasi Horton, Philip dan Kostiakov digunakan untuk memperkirakan laju infiltrasi dan membandingkan laju infiltrasi model dengan laju pengukuran di lapangan. Pengukuran laju infiltrasi di lapangan dilakukan menggunakan metode double-ring infiltrometer, sebanyak delapan titik pengukuran. Model diuji dengan membandingkan laju infiltrasi pengukuran dan hasil model, kriteria keakuratan model infiltrasi menggunakan nilai koefisien korelasii (r), uji berpasangan (t test) dan standard error (Se) antara hasil pengukuran dan hasil model untuk menentukan model infiltrasi yang lebih sesuai diterapkan di lahan pertanian Kecamatan Sangatta Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rerata koefisien korelasi 0.929, 0.856 dan 0.924 berturut-turut untuk model Horton, Philip dan Kostiakov. Nilai r tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa baik model Horton, Philip maupun Kostiakov dapat diterapkan. Nilai thitung model Horton diperoleh 2,959, lebih tinggi dari ttabel (2.074), model Philip 0.016 dan model Kostiakov 0.103. Model Kostiakov mempunyai nilai rerata standard error (Se) terkecil 0.134, sedangkan model Horton dan model Philip 0.286 dan 0.139. Maka Model Kostiakov lebih sesuai diterapkan untuk memperkirakan laju infiltrasi di lahan pertanian Kecamatan Sangatta Selatan. Rerata laju infiltrasi menggunakan model Kostiakov diperoleh 34.7 cm/jam, maka laju irigasi yang disarankan tidak melebihi 34.7 cm/jam agar tidak terjadi aliran permukaan.

Abstract

Estimasi curah hujan memanfaatkan data hujan bentuk grid merupakan alternatif untuk memperoleh data hujan yang terbatas karena sedikitnya pengamatan pada wilayah yang luas. TerraClimate menyediakan data curah hujan bulanan dalam bentuk grid dengan resolusi spasial dan temporal yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi akurasi data TerraClimate dalam mengestimasi curah hujan bulanan di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Penelitian menggunakan data curah hujan TerraCLimate dan penakar hujan dari Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) periode tahun 1996 - 2020 (25 tahun) pada 8 stasiun meteorologi yang tersebar di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Uji konsistensi data curah hujan bulanan TerraClimate dan data BMKG dilakukan menggunakan metode Rescaled Adjusted Partial Sums (RAPS). Akurasi data TerraClimate ditentukan menggunakan nilai Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), persen bias (PBIAS) dan koefisien korelasi Pearson (R). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai MAE berkisar antara 58 – 106 mm, nilai RMSE antara 93,3 – 133,8 mm, nilai PBIAS antara 0,45% – (-12,2%), dan koefisien korelasi antara 0,47 – 0,71. Nilai rerata PBIAS diperoleh 1,89% dan koefisien korelasi data TerraClimate secara keseluruhan 0,62 yang menunjukkan data TerraClimate mempunyai akurasi sangat baik dengan tingkat korelasi yang kuat.

Abstract

The application of satellite product rainfall estimates (SPREs) is growing in hydrometeorology due to limited rainfall measurement. This study aims to compare the accuracy of three SPRE, namely Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Station (CHIRPS), Global Satellite Mapping of Precipitation (GSMaP) Moving Vector with Kalman Filtering (GSMaP-MVK), and near-real-time (GSMaP-NRT) versions 7 and 8, against daily and monthly rainfall measurements from eighteen gauges in Kalimantan from December 2021 to May 2023. Continuous validation includes root mean square error (RMSE), relative bias (RB), and correlation coefficient (CC), and categorical validation consists of a probability of detection (POD), false alarm ratio (FAR), and critical success index (CSI) were used to assess the accuracy of SPREs. The results showed that GSMaP-MVK version 8 has the highest accuracy on a daily scale with an RMSE value of 14.31 mm/day, while the CHIRPS has the highest accuracy on a monthly scale with an RMSE of 81 mm/month. GSMaP version 8 is better than GSMaP version 7, with a difference in RMSE, CC, and RB at 14.2%, 9.7%, and 84%. Categorical validation showed that GSMaP version 8 was 2.13%, higher in POD, 3.95% in CSI, and 10.2% in FAR compared to GSMaP version 7. Keywords:  Accuracy, CHIRPS, GSMaP, Kalimantan, Rain-gauge.
