Abstract

Breast cancer is a disease with abnormal cell proliferation at breast tissue that can invade the surrounding tissue and spread to another organ. Based on WHO (2014) at 2012, there are 48,998 breast cancer cases on women in Indonesia with 19,730 death cases. In breast cancer, overexpression estrogen receptor alpha (ER-?) usually observed. Hence ER-? became the focus of prevention and therapy for breast cancer. In vitro study of emodin shows IC50 2.7 M and Ki 0.77 M on ER-?. In silico research using docking protocol and post docking analysis protocol shown that emodin was not an active ligand on ER-?. The outcome shown as ChemPLP score with average -75.292 and PLIF bitstring. Emodin binds with LEU346, LEU387, and ARG394 residue. Currently, the protocol that used in this research has yet identified marginal compound like emodin as an active ligand on ER-?.

Abstract

Ray tracing is a technique in computer graphics that produced image by traversing ray from eye to every pixels on screen, and then the intersection checks between ray and objects are done. Ray tracing can produce a photorealistic image, but needs a long time to do the computations. One of the ways to shorten the computation time is by reducing the number of intersection checks between ray and objects. One of the popular methods is Bounding Volume Hierarchy (BVH).In this application, Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) is also used beside BVH. The CUDA’s usage purpose is to reduce computation time by doing parallel computing in the GPU. Computations done in GPU are computing ray directions from eye to every pixels and color of every pixels.The result of this application is more than 70% rendering time reduced when compared to ray tracing application with only BVH. The maximum reduction is 86%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peranan financial technology dalam meningkatkan keuangan inklusif Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah di Sumatera Selatan. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu regresi linier sederhana. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari wawancara kepada pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah. Alat analisis data menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 20. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa variabel financial technologi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat keuangan inklusif Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah di Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah di Sumatera Selatan dengan sampel penelitian yaitu Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah di Kota Palembang.Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi dan saran kepada pemerintah tentang kondisi tingkat keuangan inklusi Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah di Sumatera Selatan, sehingga dapat menjadi referensi bagi pemerintah dalam mengambil kebijkan untuk terus meningkatnya keuangan inklusi pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah.

Abstract

The search process for domestic services have tended to be difficult because of the lack of centralized information media. The process of offering services performed by service providers is also difficult because of the absence of promotional media that can be accessed by service customers. Based on these requirements, crowdsource application was made for the services of domestic workers that can be a source of information as well as to help connecting service customers with service providers. Crowdsource application for the services of domestic workers is designed into a Service Provider Application, a Service Customer Application, and a Registration and Administrator Website. Registration Website is used to allow users to enroll as a provider. The website also serves for the administrator to accept or reject registration and to activate or deactivate an account. Service Provider Application and Service Customer Application function to communicate with each other in order to reach an agreement of supply and demand services. The results show that the Service Provider Application and Service Customer Application can provide the necessary information and help users communicate, negotiate, and reach an agreement. Review and report violations feature helps to evaluate every element in the application, both service providers, service customers, demand, and supply.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the total cost savings of PLN's electricity bill, which is quite high during the dry season, by using solar panels on a building's roof. The study took place at the PTPN VI Kayu Aro Tea Factory in Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province. Because using renewable energy sources is more complicated than using Microhydro resources, a Hybrid Optimization Model of Electric Renewable (HOMER) application program is required. This application program is used to determine the lowest Initial Cost, Cost Of Energy (COE), and Break Event Point (BEP) over a 25-year period. The Helioscope allows us to identify the required components, which are 164 330 wp solar panels, 2 Surette Rolls 4-Ks25p batteries, and 1 40000TL3-S hybrid inverter. According to the Hybrid Optimization Model of Electric Renewable (HOMER) analysis, the initial cost is IDR 1,049,620,000, the Cost of Energy (COE) is IDR 752/Kwh, and the Break Event Point (BEP) is for 24 years. The simulation results from optimizing the design of the Hybrid microhydro system, PLN with a continuous photovoltaic array show that the contribution of electrical energy produced by PLN is 11,856 kWh/year (16.3%) and solar cells is PV: 61,092 kWh/year (83.7%).

Abstract

Sistem informasi penentuan jumlah pokok kelapa sawit menggunakan metode logika fuzzy stukamoto dan pembuatan aplikasi ini nantinya digunakan untuk perkebunan kud prima sehati lubuk ramo dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi yang ada. Pembuatan aplikasi penentuan jumlah pokok kelapa sawit ini dengan menggunakan pemrograman java. Pengembangan aplikasi ini menggunakan model waterfall. Aplikasi ini menampilkan cara penentuan jumlah pokok kelapa sawit yang ada pada kebun kud prima sehati yang akan dibagi ke dalam 2 kategori yaitu: cara perhitungan menggunakan pelepah panjang dan perhitungan menggunakan pelepah pendek. Dimana aplikasi ini disajikan secara mudah digunakan oleh karani afdeling atau operator yang ada dilapangan.

Abstract

The assessment within the teaching process may take many form, such as written test, exam, assignment, etc. Grading are done manually on the exam or test sheet paper. For the assignment of 3D Model Subject, the grades are written on a form glued under the assignment result. This generates problem for teacher when storing the grades in the computer. The adjunct lecturers don’t have any place to store the hardcopy for 2D or 3D assignment. This research designed and developed a system that helps storing the grades, where data (grades) captured automatically based on predetermined percentage for each exam, test, assignment, etc. This can minimize human error factors in storing process. Surveys (interview, questionnaire and direct observation) are done to several teachers that have this problems, followed by generates system requirements, design and implementation of the software. Our system has been tested and shows promising result. The software run on Android based mobile phone and take a photo of preprinted form that attached on the assignment, read the data, and store it. The grades will stored based on their percentage in the database. With this system, grading form/sheet can be stored easily, fast, efficient and effectively; and can shows detailed information for each grades. This system provides minimal error rates, faster grades storing process and increased user –teachers and students- satisfaction.
