Abstract

Ibu-ibu dan pengusaha jamu tradisional di Kelurahan Pandanwangi Kecamatan Blimbing Kota Malang adalah warga masyarakat yang aktif dalam pembuatan jamu tradisional. Permasalahan yang akan dicari penyelesaiannya adalah penurunan penjualan selama adanya wabah Covid-19 karena pelanggan juga terdampak wabah Covid-19. Penyelesaian masalah yang ditawarkan adalah pembuatan jamu instan yang dikemas dalam bentuk sachet. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya 6 jamu instan. Masing-masing adalah jamu beras kencur, jamu daun beluntas, jamu temulawak, jamu daun sirih, jamu kunir madu, dan jamu kunir asem.

Abstract

Roaming profile is a feature of managing user’s profile centrally through the active directory on Windows Server, which is useful to redirects all application settings and data storage to the server, so that users can access their profiles on any computer on the network. Compared to the local profile that relies on a local hard drive, a roaming profile is more suitable for user account management in a computer laboratory, because students use PCs interchangeably and move from one PC to another. This study aims to shift the local profile setting which was previously still used in the computer laboratory of the Faculty of Information Technology, Universitas Merdeka Malang, to a roaming profile-based setting. This research is expected to present a solution to make it easier for students to access their own profiles, while providing protection for the files they store. The method of this research is based on a qualitative and experimental approach. The results showed that the implementation of an active directory with a roaming profile was able to improve the quality of service in the computer laboratory, as well as increase security and convenience for students.

Abstract

Beras merupakan bahan makanan utama bagi masyarakat Indonesia, sehingga harus selalu dijaga ketersediaannya. Untuk memenuhi permintaan domestik, pemerintah Indonesia mengambil kebijakan impor beras dari sejumlah negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelompokan karakteristik dari negara-negara yang mengekspor beras ke Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan melalui penerapan data mining menggunakan algoritma K-Means Clustering. Variabel yang digunakan di dalam penelitian yaitu berat bersih (neto) dan nilai Cost, Insurance, Freight (CIF). Data diolah dan diklasterisasi ke dalam tiga kelompok, mulai dari cluster impor tingkat tinggi, cluster impor tingkat sedang, hingga cluster impor tingkat rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perolehan nilai berdasarkan tingkatan impor beras dengan dua negara berada pada cluster impor tingkat tinggi, yaitu Vietnam dan Thailand. Kemudian, terdapat tiga negara dengan cluster impor tingkat sedang (Tiongkok, India dan Pakistan), serta enam negara dengan cluster impor tingkat rendah (Amerika Serikat, Taiwan, Singapura, Myanmar, Jepang dan negara-negara lainnya). Analisis data memberikan sejumlah rekomendasi sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap pemerintah dalam menentukan arah kebijakan impor beras di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

The amount of students in a school can affect several aspects of the current educational system, such as teacher availability, classroom management, and school amenities. SMA Negeri 1 Tual is is one of the Favorite High Schools in Tual City, Maluku. to forecast the enrollment at SMA Negeri 1 Tual in order to prevent a backlog of students that would impair the quality of the learning environment. The author uses the Single Exponential Smoothing and Double Exponential Smoothing methods in predicting new students. This study compares forecasting techniques in an effort to assist in projecting how many new students SMA Negeri 1 Tual will accept. This research uses a quantitative forecasting approach method. The information utilized comes from the number of students that registered for three different registration categories Zoning, Achievement, and Affirmation at SMA Negeri 1 Tual between 2017-2023 and Microsoft Excel dan Minitab was used to process and analyze the data. The best forecasting values are found in the zoning category using α=0.9, which has a MAPE value of 4%, the achievement category using the constant α=0.6, which has a MAPE value of 2%, and the category affirmation using α=0.6, which has a MAPE value of 3%.

Abstract

Penggunaan internet di Indonesia terus meningkat, dengan jumlah pengguna mencapai 221.563.479 jiwa pada tahun 2024. Perkembangan ini mendorong kemajuan di bidang teknologi informasi, yang menjadi sangat penting bagi mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan efektivitas waktu dan hasil akademik termasuk di Universitas Merdeka Malang. Sistem informasi akademik (SIAKAD) yang digunakan di Universitas Merdeka Malang, adalah salah satu alat penting berbasis website untuk mengelola data mahasiswa dan kegiatan akademik di Universitas Merdeka Malang. Namun, website ini juga rentan terhadap berbagai ancaman keamanan siber seperti SQL injection, XSS, brute force, dan DDoS. Penelitian ini menggunakan OWASP ZAP, alat yang diakui untuk analisis keamanan web, untuk mengidentifikasi celah keamanan pada Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAKAD) Universitas Merdeka Malang. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan 17 kerentanan dengan distribusi: 17,65% (3) High Risk Level, 17,65% (3) Medium Risk Level, 29,41% (5) Low Risk Level, dan 35,29% (6) Informational Risk Level. Rekomendasi diberikan khususnya pada kerentanan dalam kategori OWASP A02 (Cryptographic Failures), A03 (Injection), A04 (Insecure Design), dan A05 (Security Misconfiguration). Diharapkan hasil ini dapat membantu staf TI Universitas Merdeka Malang dalam meningkatkan keamanan dan kenyamanan akses website sistem informasi akademik mereka.

Abstract

The quality of the Wi-Fi network is very important in supporting the increasing use of video conferencing applications in educational environments. This research aims to analyze the comparative quality of Wi-Fi networks in campus environments in video conference applications based on the Quality of service (QoS) variable. Research was conducted on three video conferencing applications, namely Zoom, Google Meet, and Jitsi. Network quality is measured from four QoS variables including throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter. The research results show that the application that runs best on the campus wireless network is Google Meet, with the highest average index among the other applications tested, namely 3.91 or Excellent. It is hoped that this research will provide useful guidance for educational institutions to improve video conferencing services, as well as ensure that students and staff can communicate remotely effectively without significant obstacles due to Wi-Fi network quality problems. With a better understanding of network quality and application needs, institutions can make improvements to network infrastructure and provide recommendations for selecting video conferencing applications that suit existing network conditions.

Abstract

Dalam perguruan tinggi, keberadaan dosen sangat penting bagi mahasiswa. Dosen berperan penting dalam berjalannya sebuah perguruan tinggi, baik secara akademik maupun non-akademik. Sering kali dosen memiliki pekerjaan diluar gedung selain mengajar, hal ini membuat mahasiswa kesulitan untuk bertemu dengan dosen. Pada fakultas teknologi informasi unmer malang, ruang dosen berada pada lantai 3. Banyak mahasiswa mengeluhkan apabila tidak bisa bertemu dosen setelah menaiki tangga hingga lantai 3. Maka dibutuhkannya sebuah media untuk mengetahui keberadaan dosen pada gedung fakultas. Media tersebut akan memanfaatkan website dan perangkat internet of things berupa RFID. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan metode RAD dalam pengembangan. Untuk pengujian sistem akan dilakukan 2 metode pengujian, yaitu pengujian black box dan metode system usability scale untuk memenuhi kepuasan user. Hal ini akan membantu mahasiswa untuk mengetahui kehadiran dosen apakah berada pada gedung atau tidak tanpa harus mengecek ke ruang dosen yang berada pada lantai 3

Abstract

Pengelolaan laboratorium seringkali membutuhkan proses lama dikarenakan jumlah personal computer yang banyak di dalamnya. Beberapa masalah yang sering terjadi adalah proses maintenance yang dikerjakan secara manual sehingga bisa memperpanjang waktu pengerjaan dan tentu saja biaya manajemen jaringan meningkat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan cara untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses maintenance pada laboratorium. Penelitian ini berlokasi di laboratorium komputer Fakultas Teknologi Informasi Universitas Merdeka Malang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan (action research) dimana nantinya akan dideskripsikan, diinterpretasikan dan dijelaskan suatu situasi pada waktu yang sama dengan melakukan perubahan atau intervensi. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah penggunaan penggunaan teknologi PXE (Preboot Execution Environment) yang didukung oleh aplikasi SERVA untuk menjalankan RIS (Remote Instalation Services) terbukti membantu proses efisiensi pengelolaan laboratorium. Hal ini terbukti dari beberapa keuntungan yang didapat yaitu membantu administrator, mempersingkat waktu, menyediakan opsi, meningkatkan keamanan, menghemat biaya, dan mengurangi kesalahan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the usability and User Experience (UX) on the E-Learning.net website with three aspects, namely general usability, pedagogical usability and user experience. This study uses the TUXEL method, a method used to evaluate usability and user experience in e-learning using three questionnaires, namely the problem reporting table, general LMS evaluation checklist and user experience evaluation. Data collection through validated questionnaires was then distributed to respondents by taking samples using non-probability sampling techniques. The sample used was obtained from a study of students at SMK N 12 Malang with a sample size of 10 students with characteristics of having knowledge about e-learning. The data obtained were analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. The evaluation results obtained from the three questionnaires, namely the problem reporting table, found 14 problems from the four variables, namely login, general interface, assignments and assessments. In the General LMS evaluation checklist, 18 problems were found from the four variables, namely Help and Documentation, LMS Learnability, Learning Through the LMS and LMS Flexibility. In the User Experience Evaluation, a positive mean value was obtained. The E-Learning website excels in the dimensions of support, innovation, creativity and motivation. E-Learning.net is suitable for use in independent learning.

Abstract

Letter management is a routine activity carried out at the Kerta Jaya Village office in Banyuasin. Currently, the administration of administrative documents in this village has been done manually, resulting in long queues. This study aims to develop an information system for managing electronic administrative documents for residents, such as domicile certificates, death certificates, and single-marriage certificates. This research is a research and development (R&D) study using the Scrum method. The Scrum method divides tasks into small parts (sprints). In each sprint, researchers focus on completing several features that can be used immediately. The Scrum method was used because it has a structured framework with sprints that produce functional incremental products. This method is suitable because it allows for rapid adaptation so that application development does not take too long. The result of this study is an information system for managing electronic administrative letters in Kerta Jaya Village, Banyuasin District. From the results of the application's usability aspect, the percentage obtained on 30 respondents was 79.16%, meaning this application is suitable for use by the community.
