Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is the second-largest degenerative disease in Indonesia which is influenced by several factors such as obesity, low physical activity, and poor diet. This study aims to identify nutritional factors in 77 types 2 diabetes mellitus patients in Depok by using a cross-sectional descriptive research design. This study uses a purposive sampling technique with Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria, analyzed using univariate analysis. The results were mostly female respondents 84.4%, aged 51-60 years 76.7%, nutritional status of obesity 44.2%, high school education level 40.3%, respondents not working 68.8%, income level Rp 1,000,000, - up to Rp 2,000,000 per month 39%, and respondents who consumed 87% of the drug, when the blood sugar level (GDS) was 71.4%, breakfast frequency was 72.7%, strength of muscle mass was weak 51.9%. Moderate physical activity 59.7%, moderate GI consumption 64.9%, moderate category BG consumption 48.1% and central obesity 75.3%. This research concludes that low nutritional factors can increase the risk of type II DM in Cimanggis Health Center, Depok City in 2019.

Abstract

Data Riskesdas tahun 2018 menunjukkan 48,9% kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil meningkat menjadi 11,8%, dari data Riskesdas sebelumnya tahun 2013 yaitu 37,1%. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan risiko anemia pada ibu hamil trimester II dan III di Wilayah Kerja Puskemas Gang Kelor Kota Bogor. Jenis penelitian non eksperimental dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 100 subjek. Pengumpulan data penelitian melalui proses wawancara food recall 24 jam, dan dianalisis mengunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan asupan protein, zat besi, vitamin C, kebiasaan minum teh, LILA sama-sama memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan p-value=0,000. Variabel lain yang berhubungan adalah kepatuhan konsumsi tablet Fe p-value=0,001. Sedangkan usia pada ibu hamil, paritas, jarak kelahiran, dan ANC tidak berhubungan dengan risiko anemia pada ibu hamil (p-value>0,05). Pengetahuan berhubungan dengan p-value=0,0006, dan variable sikap juga berhubungan dengan risiko anemia pada ibu hamil p-value=0,026. Oleh karena itu sebaiknya selama kehamilan ibu mengkonsumsi makanan yang mengandung protein, zat besi, dan vitamin C sehingga asupan ketiganya terpenuhi. Selain itu selama kehamilan ibu mengkonsumsi tablet Fe, dan melakukan pemeriksaan kehamilan ke Puskesmas atau Posyandu. Puskesmas diharapkan memberikan edukasi kepada ibu hamil, sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil tentang anemia.

Abstract

Hypertension is the silent killer in Indonesia. The study aimed to analyze the relationship between heredity factors, body mass index, and percent body fat with the incidence of hypertension at the secretariat staff of the Indonesian Ulema Council, Central Jakarta 2019. This research is an analytical descriptive cross-sectional study. Measuring blood pressure, body mass index, and percent body fat by filling out questionnaires related to heredity factors of hypertension were carried out to 42 Majelis Ulama Indonesia secretariat staff. The instruments used were a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope, Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA), microtoise, and questionnaires. The results showed that 31.0% of the study subjects suffered from hypertension. The bivariate variable test showed the results heredity factor (p 0.042 < 0.05), body mass index (p 0.031 < 0.05), and percent body fat (p 0.018 < 0.05). After the study, there is a significant relationship between all the variables studied. Keyword: Heredity, Body Mass Index, Hypertension

Abstract

An Elementary school (SD) children are one of the main targets of street food vendors. These snacks provide energy and some nutrients for those who consume it. However, there are things to be alert  from street food, especially in terms of food safety. There are still many street food that made using food additives (colourings, sweeteners, preservatives, etc.) that do not meet the requirements. This can cause poisoning and even Extraordinary Events. Based on this, it is necessary to provide education about street food for elementary school children so that they can choose the healthy street food. Given the unfavorable situation, education is conducted online through Google Meet (Gmeet). The theme raised in this education is "Great Children Have Healthy Snacks" and the targets are 5th graders at ABATA Islamic School Elementary School, Karawang. The education event was carried out twice, on January 14 and 21, 2021. To find out whether the participants had understood the material presented, a pre-test and post-test were conducted. This activity has increased students' nutritional knowledge. This can be seen from the average post-test score which is higher than the pre-test
