Abstract

This article is written based on a case study of the Javanese Opera film. A film was produced at the end of 2006 as a requiem form of disasters that occurred in Indonesian territory. The data source is based on a cut of the film scene which is approached with the social practice model according to Bourdieu's theory. The result is a picture of a woman's loyalty as a wife who is loyal to her husband. Women are strong figures, although in practice they must accept their nature. This social practice based on Javanese culture is evident in the film media, which functions as a conveyor of information and as a means of cultural transformation.Keywords: Social practice, Bordieu, film, Javanese opera, women.

Abstract

This article is based on the results of oral literature research on the slopes of Kawi. Object presented is the ikrar kajat conducted by Mbah Ngari, one of the speakers of oral tradition in the village of Gondowangi in Wagir district. Verbal data was collected using field research methods, interview techniques and video documentation. Data analysis is focused on studying the formula ikrar kajat. The result is video documentation that has been completed by subtitles. The greeting and demand formula is the main element in the pledge narrative.

Abstract

Abstract: Directive speech is understood as a speech event (behavior) that aims to create or appear a certain action desired by the speaker to the speech partner. Communication carried out by two parties requires an understanding of the language knowledge of the parties concerned. The purpose of the research is to describe the form, function, and strategy of directive speech contained in the introduction to a portfolio of Javanese reading and writing courses. The method used is descriptive method because it is adjusted to the objectives to be achieved. The literature study technique used by the researcher is done by collecting materials from various written sources, with the library study technique the role of the researcher is very influential with the results presented. The data analysis technique used by the researcher begins with carefully reading all the collected data, then data reduction is carried out, and the data is ready to be presented. The results of the study are indicated by the situation of speech forms which are marked by certain words, speech functions are characterized by the dominance of sentences in the collected data, and speech strategies are indicated by the dominance of understanding the context that is raised by the speaker to his interlocutor. Keywords: foreword, Javanese language portfolio, directive speech Abstrak: Tuturan direktif dipahami sebagai peristiwa (perilaku) bertutur yang bertujuan untuk penciptaan atau pemunculan adanya suatu tindakan tertentu yang dikehendaki oleh penutur kepada mitra tutur. Komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh dua pihak diharuskan ada pemahaman pengetahuan bahasa atas pihak terkait. Tujuan dari penelitian yakni dipaparkannya bentuk, fungsi, dan strategi dari tuturan direktif yang terdapat dalam kata pengantar portofolio mata kuliah membaca menulis bahasa Jawa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, karena disesuaikan dengan tujuan yang akan dicapai. Teknik studi kepustakaan yang digunakan peneliti dilakukan dengan cara dikumpulkannya bahan dari berbagai sumber tertulis, dengan teknik studi kepustakaan peran yang dimiliki peneliti sangat berpengaruh dengan hasil yang disajikan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti diawali dengan dibaca cermat seluruh data terkumpul, kemudian dilakukan reduksi data, dan data siap untuk disajikan. Hasil dari penelitian ditunjukkan dengan situasi bentuk tuturan yang ditandai kata tertentu, fungsi tuturan ditandai dengan dominasi kalimat pada data terkumpul, dan strategi tuturan ditunjukkan dengan dominasi pemahaman konteks yang dimunculkan oleh penutur kepada mitra tuturnya. Abstract

Abstract: Descriptively formulated three objectives in this article consisted of: (1) Portrait of the ludira fragment in the lyrics of the Dharma Kasetyan song, (2) Portrait of the setya fragment in the Dharma Kasetyan song, and (3) The portrait of the Tresna fragment in the Dharma Kasetyan song. A qualitative descriptive research method was used with the data collection techniques for the document studies in the form of compositions of poetry and recordings of performances on the youtube page. The collected data was then dissected using a phenomenological approach that focuses on portraits of Ludira, Setya and Tresna. Based on the data findings and discussion, three conclusions can be drawn. First, the whole fragment contains about dharma (good behavior performed by humans) and loyalty (setya); Second, it is an act of human sacrifice that pours out everything until it bleeds (ludira); and Third, consciously to suffer for love (tresna). The story of loyalty and dharma in life is not only a love story between two lovebirds, a man and a woman, but also the loyalty and love of parents for their children, as well as how loyal they are in keeping their promises. Keywords: dharma kasetyan, phenomenology, ludira, setya, tresna Abstrak: Secara deskriptif dirumuskan tiga hal yang dijadikan tujuan dalam artikel ini terdiri dari: (1) Potret fragmen ludira pada syair lagu Dharma Kasetyan, (2) Potret fragmen setya pada syair lagu Dharma Kasetyan, dan (3) Potret fragmen tresna pada syair lagu Dharma Kasetyan. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data studi dokumen berupa komposisi syair dan rekaman pementasan di laman youtube. Data terkumpul selanjutnya dibedah dengan pendekatan fenomenologi yang difokuskan pada potret ludira, setya dan tresna. Berdasarkan temuan data dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan tiga rumusan. Pertama, keseluruhan fragmennya berisi mengenai dharma (perilaku baik yang dilakukan oleh manusia) dan kesetiaan (setya); Kedua, merupakan tindakan pengorbanan manusia yang mencurahkan segalanya sampai berdarah-darah (ludira); dan Ketiga, dengan sadar untuk menderita karena cinta (tresna). Kisah kesetiaan dan dharma dalam kehidupan tidak hanya cerita cinta antara dua sejoli lelaki dan perempuan, namun juga kesetiaan dan cinta orang tua terhadap anaknya, juga bagaimana kesetiaan dalam memegang teguh pada janji. Kata kunci: dharma kasetyan, fenomenologi, ludira, setya, tresna.
