Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian urea, arang aktif dan zeolit terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi sawah. Perlakuan penelitian disusun dalam rancangan acak kelompok pola faktorial dengan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan urea terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu perlakuan tanpa urea, urea 150 kg ha-1 dan urea 200 kg ha-1. Perlakuan Arang aktif  terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu perlakuan tanpa arang aktif dan arang aktif 40 kg ha-1, serta perlakuan zeolit terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu perlakuan tanpa zeolit dan zeolit 200 kg ha-1. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, perlakuan urea memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 30 HST dan 45 HST,  gabah per plot,  dan memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah anakan umur 30 HST. Perlakuan arang aktif memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah anakan padi umur 30 HST dan berat gabah per plot sedangkan zeolit berpengaruh terhadap jumlah anakan padi umur 30 HST. Terjadi Interaksi yang nyata antara ; urea dan arang aktif terhadap jumlah anakan umur 15 HST ; urea, arang aktif dan zeolit terhadap jumlah anakan umur 30 HST ; arang aktif dan zeolit terhadap jumlah anakan produktif.Effect of Urea, Active Charcoal, and Zeolite on Growth and Yield of Rice(Oryza sativa L.)ABSTRACT. The objectives of the research were to study effects of urea, active charcoal and zeolite on growth and yield of rice. The experiment was arranged in a factorial randomized block design with three replications. Factor of urea consisted of three levels, i.e. treatment without urea, urea 150 kg ha-1 and urea 200 kg ha-1. Factor of active charcoal consisted of two levels i.e. treatment without active charcoal and active charcoal 40 kg ha-1. Factor of zeolite consisted of two levels i.e. without zeolite and zeolite 200 kg ha-1. Results showed that urea exerted  highly significant effects on plant height at age 30 days after transplanting (DAT) and 45 DAT, grain per plot, and exerted a significant effect on tiller numbers at 30 DAT. Active charcoal exerted  significant effects on tiller numbers at 30 DAT and grain weight per plot, while zeolite exerted significant effect on tiller numbers at age 30 DAT. Significant interaction occurred between urea and active charcoal on tiller numbers at age 15 DAT; urea, activated carbon, and zeolite on tiller number at age 30 DAT; active charcoal and zeolite on productive tiller numbers.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyiangan gulma dengan sistim tanam SRI dan sistim tanam konvensional terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil padi sawah. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terpisah (Split Plot Design) dalam pola RAK faktorial, yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yang di teliti: petak utama yaitu sistem tanam terdiri dari: SRI dan konvensional, dan anak petak yaitu pengaruh penyiangan gulma terdiri dari 3 taraf: penyiangan 20 HST, penyiangan 40 HST, penyiangan 60 HST. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyiangan gulma berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil padi yang dibudidayakan secara sistim SRI dan konvensional. Pertumbuhan yang terbaik dan hasil tertinggi pada penelitian ini diperoleh pada sistim SRI yang disiangi pada umur 20 HST. Sedangkan hasil terendah dijumpai pada penyiangan 60 HST menggunakan sistem konvensional. Effect of Weed Mowing and Planting System on Growth and Yield of Rice (Oryza sativa L.).ABSTRACT. The objectives of the research were to study effects of weed mowing using System Rice Intensification (SRI) and conventional transplanting system on growth and yield of rice. The experiment was arranged in a split plot design using factorial randomized block design which consists of 2 checked factors i.e main plot that is transplanting system consists of: SRI and conventional and sub plot that is effect of weed mowing consists of three levels: 20 DAT mowing, 40 DAT mowing, and 60 DAT mowing. Result showed that the mowing of weed affect the growth and yield of rice which conducted using SRI and conventional transplanting system. The best growth and yield in this experiment was obtained by using SRI transplanting system and 20 DAT. While the worst was obtained by using conventional transplanting system and 60 DAT.

Abstract

The Effect of Spacing Between Rows of Several Varieties of Sweet Corn and Kidney Beans Growth and Yield for Intercropping SystemABSTRACT. The research was to find the effect of  planting distance and some varieties on intercropping system of sweet corn and kidney beans to improve growth and   yield.  The experimental design was Complete Block Randomized with two factors and two replications. The first factor was planting distance between rows of sweet corn intercropping system (J1=60cmx30cm; J2=80cmx30cm; J3=100cmx30cm).  Then the second factor was variety (V1= Kumala F1; V2= King Sweet F1; V3=Super Bee). The results indicated that the best planting distance on intercropping some varieties of sweet corn and kidney bean was 100cmx30cm for sweet corn and 80cmx30cm and 100cmx30cm for kidney bean. The varieties treatment showed that the best variety of sweet corn was Super Bee and kidney bean was King Sweet F1. There was significantly different interaction between planting distance and varieties on intercropping system of sweet and kidney bean on the corn husk weight of sweet corn.
