Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of local wisdom on local economic development in the tourist area of Lake Toba Parapat, Sipangan Bolon District, Simalungun Regency. The hypothesis testing used the Smart Pls program ver. 3.2.1. As a result, there is an average variable score of tangible local wisdom values that have an unfavorable category (score score below 4), namely tourism indicators of infrastructure conditions, cultural heritage indicators of mythical conditions, and lake / water state tourism. The intangible local wisdom has an unfavorable category (score score below 4) which is an indicator of honesty, full of tenderness, indicators of concern, deliberation, and indicators of courtesyThe R-Square value of 0.597 indicates a strong model. The number 0.597 means that the Local Economic Development (LED) which is able to be explained by the local wisdom variable is only 59.70%. Local wisdom have a positive relationship and significant influence on Local Economic Development (LED)

Abstract

The success of an organization depends on its ability to manage the various resources it has. This study aims to determine the effect of work stress, workload and motivation on employee performance at the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Tirtauli Pematangsiantar. This study uses quantitative research. The sample in this study was 71 respondents. Based on the results of the t hypothesis test, the work stress t-test value was obtained 0.213 <t table 1.996, and a significance value of 0.832> 0.05, so partially work stress has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, the workload t-test value is 1.641 <t table 1.996, and a significance value of 0.106> 0.05, so partially workload has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, the motivation t-test value is 8.621> t table 1.996, and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so partially motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of the F hypothesis test, the Fcount value is 56.274> 2.74 and the significance value of F is 0.000 <0.05, so simultaneously work stress, workload and motivation have a significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of the determination coefficient analysis, the Adjusted R-Square value is 0.703 or 70.3%, meaning that the effect of work stress, workload and motivation on employee performance is 70.3%

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analysis the influence of creativity and innovation to the product marketing in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara II (Persero) Tanjung Morawa. The method used in sampling was total sampling to 53 person respondent. The result of the research by parcial creativity has positive influence to the product marketing with regression coefficient 0,653, the same with it innovation has positive influence to the product marketing. The result of the research by simultant creativity and innovation influence to the marketing product because Fhitung > Ftabel, with value 7,286 > 3,18.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of employee engagement, career development, and teamwork on employee performance at Dr. Djasamen SaragihRegional General Hospital in Pematangsiantar City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study was all employees of Dr. Djasamen Saragih Regional General Hospital in Pematangsiantar City, with a sample size of 76 respondents determined using the census technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that, partially, employee engagement had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as evidenced by a t-value of 2.842 and a significance of 0.006. The career development variable had a positive and significant effect and was the most dominant variable with a t-value of 7.003 and a significance of 0.000. Furthermore, teamwork also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t-value of 5.076 and a significance level of 0.000. Simultaneously, employee engagement, career development, and teamwork have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as evidenced by an F value of 106.287 with a significance level of 0.000. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.779 indicates that 77.9% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these three variables. The results of this study are expected to be taken into consideration by hospital management in improving employee performance through strengthening work engagement, career development, and teamwork.
