Abstract

Customers are one of the main components in every business activity, where business actors have a duty to create consumer loyalty which aims to increase company revenue. Consumer loyalty can be influenced by circumstances that give rise to benefits after using it, so that business actors need to create a safe environment and optimal service so that customers feel interested and comfortable when making transactions. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of service quality on consumer loyalty at PT. POS Indonesia, Medan. The sample size is 97 respondents. The method of analysis in this study is to use a simple linear regression model. The results showed that service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty at PT. Pos Indonesia with a value of Fcount of 255,702 > Ftable of 3.04 and a value of t-count of 15,991 is greater than the t-table (1,623). Changes in consumer loyalty can be explained by changes in service quality variables of 72.90%, while the remaining 27.10% is explained by other variables that are not included as variables in the study.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi terhadap peningkatan produktivitas kerja karyawan pada PT. Pertamina (Persero) Putri Hijau Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh tenaga kerja tetap yang terdapat pada PT. Pertamina (Persero) Putri Hijau Medan, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 84 karyawan. Variabel penelitian adalah motivasi dan produktivitas kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti untuk menganalisis data adalah metode analisis deskriptif dan metode analisis regresi linear sederhana yaitu dengan menggunakan variabel independen/bebas (X) dan variabel dependen/terikat (Y) dan pengunaan koefisien determinasi. Hasil dari penelitian diketahui nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,143. Nilai tersebut berarti faktor motivasi mampu menjelaskan variabel produktivitas kerja sebesar 14,3%, sisanya sebesar 85,7% dijelaskan oleh faktor lain, seperti gaji, lingkungan kerja, dan sebagainya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, variabel motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of local wisdom on local economic development in the tourist area of Lake Toba Parapat, Sipangan Bolon District, Simalungun Regency. The hypothesis testing used the Smart Pls program ver. 3.2.1. As a result, there is an average variable score of tangible local wisdom values that have an unfavorable category (score score below 4), namely tourism indicators of infrastructure conditions, cultural heritage indicators of mythical conditions, and lake / water state tourism. The intangible local wisdom has an unfavorable category (score score below 4) which is an indicator of honesty, full of tenderness, indicators of concern, deliberation, and indicators of courtesyThe R-Square value of 0.597 indicates a strong model. The number 0.597 means that the Local Economic Development (LED) which is able to be explained by the local wisdom variable is only 59.70%. Local wisdom have a positive relationship and significant influence on Local Economic Development (LED)

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze changes of fuel price change to inflation in Medan City. The data used in this study is secondary data sources from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Medan City and Bank Indonesia Report Year 2002 - 2016. The analysis model used with Multiple Linear Regression Analysis processed with SPSS v 17. The result of this research is obtained by the partial change of price of premium have a positive and significant influence on the inflation rate in Medan City. While the change of solar price has a positive and insignificant effect to the inflation rate in Medan City and simultaneously change of price of premium and diesel price have significant influence to the inflation rate in Medan city. Changes in premium and diesel prices could explain the change in inflation rate of 82.0 percent. The rest is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada CV.Zeges. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah apakah sistem kompensasi mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja karyawan pada CV.Zeges. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut peneliti membuat hipotesis yaitu terdapat pengaruh kompensasi terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan. Metode yang digunakan peneliti untuk menganalisis hubungan prodiuktivitas terhadap kinerja karyawan adalah metode Statistik, yaitu dengan menggunakan analisis regresi liniersederhana. Dari hasil analisis regresi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi memberikan pengaruh yang siqnifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan, yaitu sebesar 83.8% dipengaruhi kompensasi

Abstract

Pengembangan karir adalah karakteristik perilaku yang menggambarkan motif, konsep diri, nilai-nilai pengetahuan atau keahlian yang ditunjukkan oleh pegawai kedalam pekerjaan. Dengan demikian, pengembangan karir menggambarkan kemampuan individu untuk melakukan pekerjaan dengan hasil yang unggul. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif yaitu data yang dapat diukur atau dihitung secara langsung, yang berupa informasi atau penjelasan yang dinyatakan dengan bilangan atau berbentuk angka. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Badan Pengelolaan Pendapatan Daerah Kabupaten Dairi yaitu 46 oran sehingga sampelnya sebanyak 46 responden. Instrumen penelitian  menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai nilai F hitung 68,716 dan nilai Sig. adalah 0,000. Diketahui nilai F hitung 68,716 > F tabel 3,24 dan nilai Sig adalah 0,000 < 0,05, maka perencanaan karir, manajemen karir secara bersama-sama atau simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini diindikasikan oleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R-Square) adalah 0,783. Nilai tersebut dapat diartikan variabel perencanaan karir, manajemen karir mampu mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan sebesar 78,3% sisanya sebesar 100% - 78,3% = 21,7% dijelaskan oleh variabel atau faktor lainnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of the work environment and corporate culture on employee performance at Taman Simalem Resort. The number of samples in this study were 70 people. The results showed that partially there was a positive and significant influence between work environment on employee performance, corporate culture partially had a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance and simultaneously work environment and corporate culture had a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance at Taman Simalem Resort with a coefficient of determination R2 = 0.025, which means that the work environment and corporate culture have an effect on the performance of employees at Taman Simalem Resort amounting to 2.5%, while the remaining 97.5% is influenced by other variables not researched.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the purpose of the implementation of the Health BPJS policy on Puskemas services (type of care) in Medan. Statistical analyses in this study were published: validity and reliability test, classic assumption test, factor analysis, SEM analysis, model suitability test, hypothesis test using software SmartPLS ver 3.2.1. R-Square value of 0.642 calculated the model is strong enough, means that the variable implementation of the health policy BPJS (X) which is able to be approved by the service variable Puskesmas (Y) of 64.20%. The results on the path coefficient appear as variables implementing BPJS health policies (X) have a positive relationship with the service variable Puskesmas (Y) with a coefficient value of 0.802 and show a significant influence on Puskesmas service (Y) with a significant p-value of 0,000. The p-value is smaller than the alpha value (5%). Associated with variables that implement health BPJS (X) policies affect positively and significant to the Puskesmas (Y) service variable.

Abstract

Community Service aims to foster micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is to provide input on what businesses can be developed in accordance with the conditions in the environment and in accordance with current conditions, namely the Covid 19 pandemic that has hit the city of Medan and the world in general. The community that will be trained are people who live in Environment IV, Sidomulio Village, Medan Tuntungan District, totaling 25 people whose livelihoods are as farmers and as farm laborers. The availability of adequate academics in giving lectures on the Development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Indonesian Methodist University, the enthusiasm of the participants, the support of the Village Head and the Head of the Environment for the implementation of activities and supporting funds from UMI are supporting the implementation of this PPM activity. The problem is the limited time for coaching. It is hoped that this training will benefit the community. The benefits that participants get from this PPM activity include being able to understand and develop micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Abstract

Community service aims to provide guidance to teachers in carrying out the tasks of the teaching and learning process. In this case, the method used is the lecture, discussion, and question and answer method. Through this, many inputs were obtained, including the characteristics of quality schools and of course quality human resources are needed, especially with the Covid 19 pandemic that has hit the city of Medan and the world in general. Quality school management starts from the principal, teachers, investment in finance and adequate infrastructure.
