Abstract

Clustering of news documents manually depends on the ability and accuracy of the human so that it can lead to errors in the grouping process of documents. Therefore, it is necessary to group the news document automatically. In this clustering, we need a weighting method that includes TF.IDF.ICF. In this paper we propose a new weighting algorithm is TF.IDF.ICF.ITF to automatically clustering documents automatically through statistical data patterns so that errors in manual grouping of documents can be reduced and more efficient. K-Means ++ is an algorithm for classification and is the development of the K-Means algorithm in the initial cluster initialization stage which is easy to implement and has more stable results. K-Means ++ classifies documents at the weighting stages of Inverse Class Frequency (ICF). ICF is developed from the use of class-based weighting for the term weighting term in the document. The terms that often appear in many classes will have a small but informative value. The proposed weighting is calculated. Testing is done by using a certain query on some number of best features, the results obtained by TF.IDF.ICF.ITF method gives less optimal results.

Abstract

Sistem question answering merupakan kemampuan sistem untuk memberikan jawaban atas kalimat tanya yang diberikan oleh user. Sampai saat ini penelitian tentang sistem question answering pada bahasa Bali belum pernah dilakukan. Pada penelitian ini kalimat tanya yang digunakan adalah kalimat tanya biasa, sebagai contoh kalimat tanya "akuda memene ngubuh siap?" Dalam bahasa Indonesia "berapa ibumu memelihara ayam?" Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan lima puluh dokumen berbahasa Bali. Sedangkan pada tahap pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua puluh kalimat tanya. Adapun metode yang diusulkan dalam penelitian ini dimulai dari memberi input pertanyaan, mencari dokumen paling relevan berdasarkan pertanyaan yang diberikan, dan memperoleh jawaban berdasarkan rules untuk setiap pertanyaan. Berdasarkan pengujian pada kedua puluh pertanyaan yang diberikan metode yang diusulkan memperoleh akurasi sebesar 40% terkait kebenaran respons atau jawaban yang diberikan.

Abstract

The partner in this program is the home industry of “basa” crackers or seasoning crackers. There are several partner problems, 1) Long production time, 2) Simple and conventional product packaging, 3) Profit sharing from product marketing. The solutions to overcome these problems are, 1) Providing production equipment, 2) Installing packaging label, 3) Promotion through facebook. The results are, 1) The partner is able to accelerate and increase production quantity where in single production, the partner can produce more than 105 packs of basa crackers. 2) Product quality is better with packaging label. 3) Promotion through facebook can expand market share.

Abstract

Mecaru merupakan upacara agama Hindu yang bertujuan mengharmoniskan hubungan antara manusia dan alam. Pelaksanaan mecaru tidak telepas dari sarana yang melibatkan hewan sebagai kurban. Salah satu hewan kurban yang digunakan dalam kegiatan mecaru adalah ayam brumbun. Mengingat begitu pentingnya ayam brumbun pada pelaksanaan mecaru, tim bekerja sama dengan mitra yang bergerak di bidang ternak ayam brumbun atau ayam caru. Saat ini, mitra memiliki permasalahan pada minimnya ketersediaan ayam caru pada saat menjelang hari keagamaan, permintaan ayam caru dapat meningkat drastis, akan tetapi ketersediaan ayam caru belum dapat memenuhi permintaan tersebut, hal ini terjadi karena kapasitas kandang yang dimiliki oleh mitra hanya dapat menampung maksimal 100 ekor ayam brumbun. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut tim dan mitra sepakat untuk meningkatkan kuantitas produksi dengan cara memperluas area kandang agar dapat menampung lebih banyak ayam brumbun serta akan dilakukan promosi melalui media sosial untuk memperluas pangsa pasar. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, saat ini area kandang telah diperluas 2m 7m. Setelah area kandang diperluas dan dialiri listrik, mitra dapat menampung bibit ayam caru hingga 200 ekor atau 50% lebih banyak.

Abstract

In Balinese, descriptions or essays are formed in an interrogative format using question words such as “akuda”, “apa”, “dija”, “kenken”, “kuda”, dan “nyen”. The assessment process on description questions tends to be more difficult and complex than multiple choice questions, this is because the description questions are described in sentence form. The solution to facilitate the assessment process on description questions can be done using automated essay scoring. Based on the results of previous studies, the Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) method provides a better level of accuracy, because the LSA method uses the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) method to obtain a new pattern of relationships between terms and reference terms. The data used in this study are five questions and their answer keys and there are five candidate answers for each question in Balinese. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the method used obtained an overall average accuracy of 70.26%, this shows that the LSA method can be used well in the assessment process or automatic essay assessment.

Abstract

Saat ini proses pembelajaran pada SD CIS Bali dilakukan antara pendidik dan peserta didik melalui aplikasi WhatsApp (WA) Group. Kelemahan aplikasi WA apabila digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran adalah belum adanya fitur bagi pendidik dalam mengelola dan memvalidasi hasil ujian, selain itu dalam proses penyampaian materi, pendidik hanya memberikan materi ke dalam bentuk dokumen pdf dan slide presentasi sederhana. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut tim dan mitra sepakat memberikan bantuan dalam pengembangan aplikasi web media pembelajaran online dengan fitur: (1) halaman pendidik untuk mengelola dan memvalidasi hasil ujian serta (2) halaman peserta didik untuk mengerjakan soal ujian. Selain itu, turut diberikan pelatihan serta pendampingan dalam pembuatan materi ajar, seperti pembuatan slide presentasi dan video tutorial. Berdasarkan hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan serta pendampingan dalam penggunaan bantuan aplikasi web media pembelajaran online, para pendidik dapat menggunakan keseluruhan fitur pada aplikasi serta dapat memahami keseluruhan materi dalam pembuatan slide presentasi maupun video tutorial dengan baik.

Abstract

Clustering aims to categorize data into n groups, where data within each group exhibits maximum similarity, while the similarity between groups is minimized. Among various clustering methods, k-means is widely employed due to its simplicity and ability to yield optimal clustering results. However, the k-means method is susceptible to slow processing in high-dimensional datasets and the clustering outcomes are sensitive to the initial selection of cluster center values. In addressing these limitations, this study employs the k-means mini-batch method to enhance processing speed for high-dimensional data and utilizes the k-means++ method to optimize the selection of initial cluster center values. The dataset for this research comprises 300 news articles in Balinese sourced from the https://balitv.tv/ website. Prior to the clustering process, a stemming procedure is applied using the Balinese stemmer method to enhance recall. The obtained results reveal that a majority of the 300 data instances exhibit a high degree of similarity, as indicated by the clustering results. If the number of clusters (n) exceeds two, the data fails to be distinctly separated due to the high structural similarity among the data instances. This can be attributed to the relatively small number of words or attributes produced. In future research, feature reduction will be implemented, and a clustering method capable of addressing data overlap will be explored.

Abstract

The partner traditional food home industry sells lawar, tum, and timbungan. Every day the partners process 6 kg of meat, 0.5 kg of chilies, 1 kg of shallots, and 0.5 kg of garlic. The amount of production in a day reaches 5 timbungan, 12 packs of lawar, and 50 packs of tum. The produce is marketed locally at partners' kiosks from four in the afternoon to seven in the evening. The partner's business has the potential to develop further, because the number of orders on holidays and weekends can increase by up to 50% currently, the partner has problems with a shortage of production and product marketing quantities. The solution to overcome partner problems is carried out by providing assistance with production equipment, installing packaging labels, and installing brochures, banners, and promotions via social media Instagram and Facebook. Based on the activities that have been carried out, the results obtained are that the production equipment assistance provided is able to increase the number of partners' production by up to 50% and make the production time process more efficient. Creating Instagram and Facebook social media can be an alternative for marketing partner products to reach a wider market share. Apart from that, other capabilities obtained by partners, such as the use of production equipment and product packaging with packaging labels, have increased by up to 100%.

Abstract

Software defects result in unreliable software, therefore predicting software defects is an effort to produce quality software. In this study, we used the naïve bayes method because it has the appropriate characteristics of the data used. The data used include NASA MDP datasets and datasets from the calculation of the sql complexity method on eight software modules. The use of two datasets was carried out because in the NASA MDP datasets there were no attributes that paid attention to the use of sql commands, therefore in the datasets from the eight software modules the sql complexity attribute was included which paid attention to the level of complexity of the use of sql commands in each module. The prediction results of this study were evaluated by considering the values of accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measure. Based on these results, the accuracy results of CM1 were 88%, PC2 was 97%, and KC3 was 78%.

Abstract

Proses untuk mengekstraksi kata dasar dari kata berafiks dikenal dengan istilah stemming yang bertujuan meningkatkan recall dengan mereduksi variasi kata berafiks ke dalam bentuk kata dasarnya. Penelitian terdahulu tentang stemming bahasa Bali pernah dilakukan menggunakan metode rule-based, tapi afiks yang diluluhkan hanya prefiks dan sufiks, sedangkan variasi afiks lain tidak diluluhkan, seperti infiks, konfiks, simulfiks, dan kombinasi afiks. Penelitian tentang stemming menggunakan pendekatan rule-based telah diterapkan di berbagai bahasa yang berbeda. Metode rule-based memiliki kelebihan jika diterapkan pada domain yang sederhana, maka rule-based mudah untuk diverifikasi dan divalidasi, tapi memiliki kelemahan saat diterapkan pada domain dengan level kompleksitas yang tinggi, apabila sistem tidak dapat mengenali rules, maka tidak ada hasil yang diperoleh. Untuk mengatasi kelemahan stemming menggunakan rule-based, kami menggunakan metode n-gram stemming, dimana kata berafiks dan kata dasar diubah ke bentuk n-gram, kemudian tingkat kemiripan antara n-gram kata berafiks dan n-gram kata dasar diukur menggunakan metode dice coefficient, apabila tingkat kemiripannya memenuhi nilai ambang batas yang ditentukan, maka kata dasar yang dibandingkan dengan kata berafiks ditampilkan. Pada penelitian ini, kami mengembangkan metode stemmer yang meluluhkan seluruh variasi afiks pada bahasa Bali dengan mengombinasikan pendekatan rule-based dan metode n-gram stemming. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan untuk kesepuluh query metode yang diusulkan memperoleh rerata akurasi stemming lebih baik 96,67% dari metode terdahulu 75%, sedangkan untuk kelima query metode n-gram stemming dapat mengenali beberapa kata berafiks diluar rules. Penelitian berikutnya, kami akan memperhatikan semantik setiap kata dan tahap validasi menggunakan aplikasi text mining.AbstractA process for extracting a stem word from the inflected word is known as stemming which aims to increase recall by reducing the variation of the inflected word into its stem word form. Previous research on stemming the Balinese language has been done using the rule-based method, but the affixes that are removed are only prefixes and suffixes, while other variations of affixes are not removed, such as infixes, confixes, simulfiks, and combinations of affixes. Research on stemming using the rule-based approach has been applied in a variety of different languages. The rule-based method has advantages when applied to a simple field, rule-based is easy to verify and validate, but has weaknesses when applied to domains with a high level of complexity, if the system cannot recognize rules, no results are obtained. To overcome the stemming weaknesses using rule-based, we use the n-gram stemming method, where the inflected word and stem word are converted to the n-gram form, then the level of similarity between the n-gram of the inflected word and the stem word is measured using the dice coefficient method, when the level of similarity meets the defined threshold value, then the stem word is displayed. In this study, we developed a stemmer method that removes all variations of affixes in the Balinese language by combining the rule-based approach and the n-gram stemming method. Based on the experiments for the ten queries the proposed method get 96,67% stemming accuracy than the previous method 75%, while for the five queries for the n-gram stemming method can recognize some inflected words outside the rules. The next study, we will pay attention to the semantics of each word and the validation stage using text mining application.
