Abstract

Background: Kanker serviks merupakan penyebab kematian ketiga dari seluruh kanker di dunia. Kanker serviks dalat dicegah dengan melakukan skrining kanker serviks salah satu metodenya dengan Inspeksi Visual Asam Asetat (IVA). Teropong digital skrining kanker serviks merupakan suatu alat yang dapat menampilkan gambar serviks pada perangkat sehingga ibu dapat mengetahui hasil pemeriksaan dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman ibu. Tujuan: Meningkatkan pengetahian ibu tentang kanker serviks dengan menggunakan teropong digital skrining kanker serviks. Metode: Sasaran adalah wanita usia subur di Yogyakarta. Tahapan kegiatan dengan pre test, kemudian diberikan penjelasan tindakan informed consent, edukasi pasca tindakan dengan menunjukkan hasil tangkapan gambar teropong digital kemudian post test. Hasil: Rerata skor pre tes= 71, post tes= 89 dengan beda rerata p= 0,043. Ada peningkatan rerata pre dan post tes, ada pengaruh edukasi dengan teropong digital skrining kanker serviks dengan kenaikan tingkat pengetahuan.

Abstract

The prevalence of early marriage in Yogyakarta increased in 2018 with a total of 312 cases. There are three districts in Yogyakarta with the highest number of cases, namely Sleman 93 cases, Gunung Kidul 77 cases, and Kulon Progo 71 cases. The purpose of this study was to know the factors related to adolescent attitudes about early marriage in Yogyakarta. The research was conducted with quantitative observational analytics with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used a sampling quota with several 75 respondents. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires. The data is analyzed with a chi-square test and multivariate with a logistic regression test. The results of this study showed that out of 79 respondents, 78.5% had no intention of early marriage, and 21.5% intended to have an early marriage. Based on the results of the analysis of the known knowledge variable (p=0.010, OR=4.133), parental income (p=0.016, OR=4.072) showed that there was a correlation with adolescents' intentions towards early marriage. Meanwhile, the family support variable (p=0.738), peer support (p=0.505), and attitude (p=0.105) indicate no connection with a teenager's intentions toward early marriage. The results were obtained that factors related to adolescents' intentions toward early marriage are the knowledge and income of parents.

Abstract

Adolescence is the most vulnerable period to reproductive health problems. These problems include early pregnancy, unsafe abortion, sexually infections transmitted (STIs) including the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), sexual abuse. Access for sexuality education and reproductive health services to comprehensive and youth-friendly was limited. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of peer educators and guidance and counselling teachers in adolescent reproductive health level of knowledge. This is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design with treatment groups using peer educators and teacher as control groups. The sample size was 70 respondents. Data was collected by questionnaire that already had validity and reliability test. Data analysis used univariate, t-test and logistic regression. The results of this study showed that the provision of information was more effective through guidance conselling teachers (p=0.000, exp B=14.5). This study recommends that improve adolescents’ reproductive knowledge need to optimize the role of guidance and counseling teachers in providing information.

Abstract

Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) was the eighth leading cause of death among adolescents worldwide. A third of these were infected during adolescence period.  HIV prevention in adolescents is particularly important. Attitude is one indicator of a person's behavior or action. This study aimed to establish the determinants of adolescents’ attitudes toward the prevention of HIV AIDS among adolescents. This was a descriptive cross-sectional study conducted among 370 high school students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Quantitative data was analyzed using SPSS and involved univariate and multivariate analysis. The result of this study showed that the internet and television were the major sources of information on reproductive health and HIV among adolescents (98.9%) and (98.4%) respectively. The determinant factors of adolescents' attitude towards HIV/AIDS prevention were the level of knowledge (p=0.028) and self-efficacy (p=0.007) and multivariate analysis showed respondents with positive self-efficacy were 1.8 times more likely to have a positive attitude towards HIV/AIDS prevention. The conclusion is self-efficacy is a determinant factor in attitude. The recommendation of this study is to stakeholders on interventions that can improve adolescents' self-efficacy to achieve HIV prevention goals.

Abstract

UNICEF and WHO is calling on the government and all stakeholders to maintain and promote access to services that allow the mother to continue breastfeeding during the pandemic COVID-19. As a result, the access of an essential service such as counseling, nursing in hospitals, health clinics, and through a visit to the house interrupted. The information is not right that circulating about the safety of breastfeeding has lowered the number of nursing mothers because of the fear of transmitting the disease to her child.The aim of this study was to determine the relationship of maternal anxiety levels with the success of exclusive breastfeeding on the pandemic COVID-19. The Study used the observational analytic design with Cross Sectional Study. Sampling with Accidental Sampling technique. Retrieval of data using a questionnaire Google Form. Analysis used Chi-Square test. The result state that there is no relationship between the level of anxiety with the success of exclusive breastfeeding with p value 0.064 (>0.05). The majority of respondents was not at risk, higher education, family income in the top categories, and have the experience. There is no relationship with the level of anxiety of the mother with the success of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all areas of life, one of those is pregnant women. During the COVID-19 pandemic, pregnant women are terrified to conduct a pregnancy check. The purpose of this study was to identify the correlation between the anxiety level of third trimester pregnant women towards antenatal care (ANC) visits during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study used a cross sectional study at the Sanden Public Health Center (PHC) from January to March 2022. The sample was taken using purposive sampling of 45 people. Data was collected by using a questionnaire. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate (chi square) analysis.The results of the univariate analysis showed that the majority of pregnant women who did not fulfill the visit compliance experienced severe anxiety, namely 7 people (87.5%). While the majority of pregnant women who met the compliance visit experienced mild anxiety, namely 24 people (85.7%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between the level of anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester and the level of compliance with ANC visits during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Sanden PHC in 2021 with a p value of 0.000. The majority of respondents at the Sanden PHC, Bantul Regency, were classified as not at risk, not working, highly educated, multigravida, experiencing mild anxiety levels, and fulfilling ANC visits. There is a relationship between the level of anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester and the level of compliance with ANC visits during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Introduction. Cases of HIV / AIDS in middle and low income countries are very many and cause death. Indonesia is one of the countries with an increase in HIV cases in the 15-49 age group in 2001-2011 by more than 25%. One of the biggest obstacles in the prevention and control of HIV / AIDS is the high stigma and discrimination against people with HIV / AIDS (PLWHA), including stigma by health workers. The majority of midwives get information about HIV / AIDS through lectures and only 5% say they get information through socialization after work. Objective: The aim of this activity is to Increase knowledge of midwives about HIV AIDS and PLWHA Dedicated partners: Midwife and NGO Victory Plus Method: This community service is divided into 2 meetings. At the first meeting the pre-test was given, then the material by the Victory Plus NGO and the post test ended. The second meeting with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the theme of the Stigma of PLWHA with pre-post test Results: There was an increase in the average level of knowledge before and after the previous intervention 19.7 rose to 21.5 with a value of P = 0.029. This shows an increase in the average level of knowledge and statistically proven interventions can increase the level of knowledge. Conclusion: This service is effective in increasing the level of knowledge of midwives about HIV which was previously felt to be lacking and reducing the stigma of PLWHA so that midwives are able to provide services to PLHIV especially women in order to carry out HIV Prevention Programs from mother to child.

Abstract

Adolescents were vulnerable phase to reproductive health problems such as unintended pregnancy, unsafe abortion, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), sexual abuse and rape and anaemia. Previous study of Niken Meilani and Nanik Setiyawati in 2019 showed that the level of adolescent reproductive health knowledge majority in the poor category and the proportion of anaemia was high. The results showed that the provision of Fe supplement tablets had an effect on increasing haemoglobin levels with p=0.020, reproductive health information also increase the level of knowledge of respondents p=0.000. This Community service for 7th grade female students at SMP Muhammadiyah Plus Gunungpring Muntilan as many as 70 students. The purpose of this community service was to increase knowledge through providing information through WhatsApp groups and Instagram and to increase haemoglobin levels by giving anaemia Fe tablets. Monitoring of activities is carried out two-way communication through WhatsApp groups involving school guidance and counsellor teachers. The evaluation of the activities was carried out by measuring the knowledge scores of the pre-test and post-test, and it was found that there was an increase in knowledge by using a pair t-test analysis with p = 0.000. Ten blood-added tablets are given for 10 weeks with the monitoring of the teachers. Community service activities by providing information through WhatsApp and Instagram statistically increase students' knowledge about adolescent reproductive health.
