Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of career polarization among educational leaders in the Jordanian–education directorates of Ajloun and Jersah. The researchers adopted the descriptive -analytical approach for its suitability for such studies. The researchers used the questionnaire as the study instrument, which comprised 20 items. The researchers distributed the items in two domains, 10 items were for each domain as the study instrument. The sample of the study comprised 250 educational leaders for the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020. The study results showed that the degree of career polarization among educational leaders in the Jordanian Ministry of Education came with an average degree of rating in all its domains and for all items. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α=0.05) attributed to the two study variables. Gender and the number of years of experience are the two study variables.

Abstract

The information revolution created today has created increased information and various learning resources. The existence of these developments causes teachers to need to re-identify how modern learning strategies and the application of teaching methods are primarily for teachers in vocational schools. This study was conducted to identify the reality of using modern learning strategies in teaching vocational education at the basic stage from the point of view of vocational education teachers in Jordan, where a descriptive analytical approach is used, and to achieve the objectives of the study and answers. In this study the method used is descriptive analytical method using a questionnaire as an instrument for research. Questionnaires were distributed online to research respondents who are teachers who teach in vocational schools. The results of the study found that the use of modern strategies in the educational process has a positive impact on students, in addition to the statistically significant differences between teachers who use modern learning strategies in teaching compared to teachers who apply traditional teaching methods. For further research, the authors recommend managing learning materials to facilitate and improve the implementation of active learning strategies. AbstrakRevolusi informasi yang tercipta pada zaman sekarang menciptakan meningkatnya informasi dan berbagai sumber belajar. Abstract

This study will identify the impact of using problem-solving strategies in developing interpretation and evaluation skills among tenth graders in vocational education in Ajloun governorate, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. In this experimental study, the researchers prepared an achievement test that was applied before and after the second semester of the academic year (2021-2022), after confirming its validity and reliability. This study shows that there is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (α = 0.1) between the mean scores of the experimental group students and the control group students for interpretation skills, which is associated with the application of problem-solving methods. In addition, there is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (α = 0.1) between the average score of the assessment skills of the experimental group students and the control group students, which is associated with the application of problem-solving methods.

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of polarizing professional human resources from the point of view of academics in Jordanian higher education institutions (JHEI), following the variables: gender, educational qualification, academic qualifications, years of service, and type of institution. The study followed a descriptive-analytical approach. The study sample comprised 674 faculty members working in various institutions of the JHEI. The researcher used a questionnaire comprising 24 items as a study instrument. The study’s findings revealed that the JHEI for polarizing professional human resources were ordinary. and that academic institution administrations encourage personnel to submit distinguished ideas. Also, they seek to adopt a philosophy of change as needed, while the administrations do not care about measuring the job satisfaction of employees. Periodically, it was found that JHEI encourage feedback from students to improve the quality of services and adopt modern technological means to provide their services.

Abstract

The learning model for teacher professional education program is carried out online by utilizing a learning management system which is divided into synchronous and asynchronous learning activities. The combination of these two activities is expected to optimize the quality of online learning, but in practice the success of this distance learning model often encounters obstacles both internal and external factors including network constraints, devices used, time management due to busy activities, differences in competence in digital literacy and student data literacy. , as well as constraints on achieving timespend in synchronous and asynchronous activities. Obstacles that arise as obstacles in learning activities need to be evaluated and solutions sought. This study aims to analyze the learning constraints in synchronous and asynchronous activities and find alternative solutions to support the achievement of outcomes based education. The method used is a case study through qualitative analysis. The research subjects were students of the teaching profession program in mechanical engineering concentration positions. The results of the study show that synchronous activities support students learning quickly but need to be supported by a stable network, quality devices, time management and human resources with good technological literacy and digital literacy. Whereas asynchronous provides breadth in the flexibility of learning activities but requires precision and consistency so that you don't get bored easily and require activeness in learning activities. It can be concluded that the effectiveness of distance learning is by collaborating synchronous and asynchronous learning proportionally and mutually reinforcing so that the quality of online learning can be guaranteed and the goals of the teaching profession program can be achieved

Abstract

This study aimed to uncover the difficulties that special education students face in field training at Al-Balqa Applied University during the corona pandemic. The study investigated whether these difficulties were affected by gender (males-females). To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher designed survey consisting of 36 items. The sample of the study consisted of 30 male and female students enrolled in the field training course in the first semester of the academic year 2020/22021. The results showed that field training difficulties associated with the subscale of the students and supervisors were high. However, the difficulties related to the training center were medium. The study also showed no statistically significant differences in the difficulties between students due to the gender variable.
