Abstract

Nematoda puru akar (NPA) Meloidogyne spp. merupakan salah satu patogen penting pada tanaman terung. Puru akar sangat merugikan karena menurunkan hasil produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan bakteri endofit dari Lantana camara dan mengevaluasinya bersama bakteri endofit dari akar kelapa sawit, dan mangrove yang berpotensi untuk mengendalikan Meloidogyne spp. dan menentukan pengaruhnya pada pertumbuhan tanaman terung, serta mengidentifikasi bakteri endofit yang potensial sebagai agens pengendalian hayati. Potensi agens hayati mengacu pada hasil pengujian uji mortalitas, uji senyawa organik volatil (SOV) dan uji penekanan puru akar dievaluasi dengan mengukur persentase penurunan jumlah puru, kerusakan akar, dan jumlah paket telur. Hasil uji menunjukkan seluruh isolat bakteri endofit berpotensi menyebabkan mortalitas, menghasilkan SOV, dan dapat menekan persentase jumlah puru pada akar, serta memberikan pengaruh terhadap bobot dan tinggi tanaman. Bakteri endofit LCA5 dan LCA13 menyebabkan mortalitas lebih dari 90% terhadap Meloidogyne spp. J2. Selama 24 jam dan pada uji SOV menyebabkan mortalitas lebih dari 60% selama 24 jam. Bakteri endofit yang memiliki potensi sebagai pengendalian hayati diidentifikasi sebagai Dyella marensis, Stenotrophomonas rhizophilla, dan Providencia vermicola.

Abstract

This research will know the illegal mining action in some local government in East Government in 2014. The method of it is qualitative one and the data are taken from the newspaper and observation as well as interview. The results of this research are (1). The are many mining company have no legal permit, (2). There are many inspired permit, (3). There are many companies have complains because the coal robbing in the tugboat in the river Mahakam, (4). There are many illegal funding in the business, (5). The lead officers in Samarinda based on the regulation No. 23 in the year 2014 about Local government there is no technical and realization handbook, (6). The officers concerned are afraid to take an action to capture the robbers becuase no instruction. The suggestions are: (1). Samarinda local government has to proactive, (2). Good Governance has to be practised, (3). The officers have to burn down the crime, (4). The one who will urged the wants must be taken an action strictly to capture or sentence, (5). The society has to anticipate to create order and safe.

Abstract

Peningkatan keterampilan desain aplikasi bagi guru MGMP TIK Surabaya penting untuk ditingkatkan guna mendukung kualitas pendidikan yang lebih baik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa laboratorium manajemen cerdas informasi teknik informatika ITS dengan tujuan memberikan rekomendasi dan masukan terkait permasalahan desain antarmuka aplikasi yang dibuat oleh guru peserta pelatihan. Metode yang digunakan adalah evaluasi heuristik dan klasifikasi permasalahan menggunakan severity level. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa guru menjadi tahu apa permasalahan yang ada di desain antarmuka yang dibuat dan mengetahui aksi perbaikan. Hal ini juga memperjelas penyampaian materi dengan permasalahan dan solusi nyata, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan pengajaran

Abstract

East Luwu Regency is one of South Sulawesi's regencies with potential in the plantation sector, especially cocoa plants, with a production of 12,250 tons/year. Cocoa productivity has yet to be achieved optimally due to the lack of care and maintenance carried out by farmers, which increases the intensity of pest & disease attacks. This study evaluates farmers' knowledge, attitudes, and actions in managing cocoa plants and plant pathogens in East Luwu Regency. This study was conducted through direct interviews using a structured questionnaire sent to 50 farmers in Burau and Wotu Districts, East Luwu Regency. Respondents were selected purposively, considering that they were easy to find and the location of the plantation was easy to reach. Data are presented in tabular, graphical, and descriptive forms in Microsoft Excel to explain the relationship between farmers' knowledge, attitudes, and actions in managing cocoa VSD disease. The results showed that most of the respondent were active farmer groups. Pests & diseases are problems farmers face in cocoa cultivation. Most farmers used the MCC 02 clone, and the planting distance was 3´3 m. The diseases most commonly found in farmers' cocoa fields include VSD, fruit rot, upas fungus, and stem cancer. Pest & disease control was done through chemical pesticides and pruning (cultivation techniques). Cocoa farmers in Burau and Wotu Districts routinely carry out pruning to control disease in cocoa fields. Farmers prune cocoa plants to remove diseased branches and stimulate the growth of flowers and fruit. Keywords: action, attitude, knowledge, questionnaire

Abstract

 Kopyor is a recessive-gene-trait coconut that has a delicious taste and high prices. One of several major problems of kopyor coconut cultivation is leaf spot disease. Endophytic bacteria originated from Arecaceae can be used as a biocontrol agents to control the disease in a sustainable way. The objective of the research was to select endophytic bacteria isolated from Arecaceae roots and leaves such as Pejibaye (Bactris gasipaes), Oil Palm (Elaeis guinensis), Kopyor Coconut (Cocos nucifera), Sugar Palm (Arenga pinnata) and Nibung (Oncosperma filamentosa) as biocontrol agent of Pestalotiopsis sp. Fourty isolates of endophyte bacteria are not pathogen to plant or animal and human. There are seven best selected endophytic isolates that can inhibit Pestalotiopsis sp. Some of them have the ability to dissolve phosphate, produce IAA, chitinase, and fix nitrogen. Those isolates are  EAKSS 502, EAKSS 507, EAKSS 509, EAKSS 510, EAAPN 237, EAONN 545 and EAKPN 201. EAKPN 201 is the best candidate as biocontrol agent againts Pestalotiopsis sp. with 64,4% inhibition of Pestalotiopsis sp. on antagonist test. [Keywords:  Palmae, plant pathogen, antagonist agents,  antibiotict test]AbstrakKopyor adalah kelapa dengan sifat gen resesif yang memiliki rasa lezat dan harga yang tinggi. Salah satu masalah utama dalam pembudidayaan kelapa kopyor adalah penyakit bercak daun. Bakteri endofitik yang berasal dari tanaman Arecaceae dapat digunakan sebagai agens pengendali hayati dalam mengendalikan penyakit secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menseleksi bakteri endofit yang berasal dari akar dan daun tanaman Arecaceae seperti Pejibaye (Bactris gasipaes), Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guinensis), Kopyor Coconut (Cocos nucifera), Aren (Arenga pinnata) dan Nibung (Oncosperma filamentosa) yang berfungsi sebagai agen biokontrol Pestalotiopsis sp. Empat puluh isolat bakteri endofit non patogen terhadap tumbuhan atau hewan dan manusia berhasil diperoleh. Tujuh isolat bakteri endofit memiliki daya penghambatan terbaik terhadap cendawan Pestalotiopsis sp. Beberapa isolat memiliki kemampuan dalam melarutkan fosfat, memproduksi IAA, kitinase dan mengikat nitrogen. Ketujuh isolat tersebut yaitu isolat EAKSS 502, EAKSS 507, EAKSS 509, EAKSS 510, EAAPN 237, EAONN 545 dan EAKPN 201  EAKPN 201 adalah kandidat terbaik sebagai agen biokontrol untuk Pestalotiopsis sp. dengan penghambatan sebesar 64,4% pada uji antagonis.[Kata kunci:  Palem-paleman, patogen tanaman, antagonis,  uji antibiosis]
