This study aims to determine the implementation of school discipline in improving the discipline of grade V students at SD Negeri Samata. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The subjects of this study are the principal, class teacher, and 5 students of SD Negeri Samata. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview, and documentation methods. The techniques used in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion making. In this study, the implementation of school discipline in improving student discipline is (a) students come and leave school on time, (b) students do not leave class/skip school, (c) students complete assignments according to the set time, (d) students obey/do not violate applicable regulations, (e) students are not lazy in learning, (f) students do not tell others to do their assignments, (g) students do not cheat, (h) students do not make a noise in class during class hours, (i) students do not disturb others who are studying. In this study, it can be seen that: (1) the school has implemented strict policies to ensure student discipline in terms of time, (2) the school has a strict policy against truancy, with sanctions that vary according to the level of violation, such as reprimands etc., (3) the school can help students develop a sense of responsibility by creating a supportive environment, (4) the school has a strong commitment to supporting teachers to educate students about the importance of complying with regulations through various strategic measures, (5) the school handles lazy students with a holistic approach and focuses on individual understanding and solutions, (6) the school educates students on the importance of completing tasks independently as part of character formation and responsibility.
