Abstract

One of the World Health Organization (WHO) protocols in breaking the chain of transmission of COVID-19 by washing hands. The availability of hand washing equipment with good standards and in accordance with WHO standards is urgently needed during a pandemic. The most effective way to wash your hands is by using soap and running water. In public places it is very difficult to get soap and running water, if any, using manual taps can increase transmission of COVID-19 because touching someone's hand on a faucet or a soap button will leave the virus and can spread the virus to future users. Use of the Touchless Type of Handwashing Tool can help reduce the spread of the hand washing process, because there is no touch at all on the components of the hand washing, using the Touchless Type of Handwashing Tool is expected to help people wash their hands with high standards. anywhere and anytime, so that in the end it can reduce the spread of the COVID-19 Virus in public areas. And it is hoped that this habit can also be continued not only during the pandemic period but in the continuing period after the pandemic ends. The installation of the tools will be carried out in a place where the aged people gather and can be moved easily.

Abstract

           Suheri 2018, Studi Tentang Pelayan Kepada Masyarakat di Kelurahan Mugirejo kecamatan Sungai Pinang Kota Samarida. Skripsi ini bimbingan Ibu Jamiah S.Sos. M.Si selaku pembimbing I dan Bapak Drs. H. Maskan AF M.Si selaku pembimbing II.Penelitian ini membahas tentang Studi Tentang Pelayanan Kepada Masyarakat Di Kelurahan Mugirejo Kecamatan Sungai Pinang Kota Samarinda. Kedudukan dan peranan Kelurahan sangatlah vital dan penting perannya dalam Administrasi Negara, karena Kelurahan bersentuhan langsung dengan masyarakat dari semua kalangan/golongan, mulai sejak lahir sampai meninggal. Permasalahan yang di angkat adalah Studi Tentang Pelayanan Kepada Masyarakat di Kelurahan Mugirejo Kecamatan Sungai Pinang Kota Samarinda. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode Deskristif Kualitatif.Studi tentang pelayanan kepada masyarakat di kelurahan mugirejo ini menampikan pelayanan kenyamanan, kemudahan, dan penggunaan alat bantu sudah diterapkan dalam proses pelayanan terhadap masyarakat. Dalam pelayanan kepada masyarakat, para pegawai kelurahan mempunyai standar pelayanan yang jelas, dan keahlian sudah diterapkan dalam melayani masyarakat.Tujuan dalam pelayanan kepada masyarakat adalah dapat membantu atau proses pelayanan terhadap masyarakat yang nyaman sesuai dengan harapan masyarakat, berdasarkan kualitas pelayanan publik dari lima dimensi yaitu Bukti Fisikl, Kehandalan, Ketanggapan, Jaminan, dan Empati. Kata Kunci : Pelayanan Publik ABSTRACTSuheri 2018, Study of Waiters to the Community in Mugirejo Village, Sungai Pinang District, Samarida City. The position and role of the vital village and its important role in the State Administration, because the kelurahan is in direct contact with the community from all walks of life, from birth to death.The problem that was disposed of was Study Services to the Community in Mugirejo Village, Sungai Pinang District, Samarinda City. The research methodused is the Qualitative Research Method.The study of service to the community in Mugirejo village shows that the services of comfort, convenience, and use of tools have been applied in the process of service to the community. In service to the community, kelurahan employees have clear service standards, and expertise has been applied in serving the community.The purpose of service to the community is to be able to help or process the service to the community that is comfortable in accordance with the expectations of the community, based on the quality of public services from five dimensions, namely Tangibility, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Emphaty Keywords : Public service

Abstract

In offshore structures installation, tubular joints are commonly used. Tubular joints fabricated with welding processes often cause high hot-spot stress (HSS). High value of HSS and stress concentration factor (SCF) in tubular joints will reduce the service life of offshore structures due to fatigue loads. In this study simple tubular junctions T, Y, K, and X were used to obtain HSS and SCF through FEM simulation. The location of the maximum HSS under axial loading varied around the initial crown, in the In-Plane Bending (IPB) loading located after the second crown, while in the Out-of-Plane Bending (OPB) loading it was around the second saddle. In general, the SCF value in the three loading models from the FEM simulation is lower than SCF formula calculations in the previous study, these results are in line with recent SCF review study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi manajemen Penelitian dan Pengadian Pada Masyarakat (PPPM) berbasis website di Unit Penelitian dan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (UPPM) Politeknik Negeri Pontianak (POLNEP). Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur dan model waterfall untuk proses pengembangan perangkat lunak. Penyelenggaraan PPPM yang menggunakan pendanaan internal di Politeknik Negeri Pontianak saat ini dikelola tanpa menggunakan sebuah sistem informasi. Beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh UPPM, Dosen, dan Reviewer, di antaranya 1) pengelolaan PPPM kurang efisien, 2) terjadinya inconsistency data karena faktor human error, 3) sulitnya mendeteksi orisinalitas penelitian karena data penelitian belum terorganisir dengan baik. Hasil pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sistem belum menangani semua proses bisnis yang dibutuhkan, beberapa proses bisnis yang sudah diimplementasikan seperti penanganan usulan proposal dapat berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

This research created an innovative single-stage U-type Savonius wind turbine with water hyacinth composite material, intended for low wind speeds. With the steps of wind speed measurement, turbine rotation monitoring, and power measurement, interesting results such as a wind speed of 4.52 m/s producing a power of 5.17 volts were revealed. The significance lies in the potential of the water hyacinth composite turbine in utilizing low wind speeds to generate electricity. The conclusion notes the achievements in the manufacturing process of Savonius turbine blades and suggests that these findings provide an important basis for the development of composite-based wind turbines as an environmentally friendly renewable energy source.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi keuangan di kalangan perempuan di daerah pedesaan Indonesia, khususnya di Kabupaten Bondowoso, dijelaskan sebagai masalah multi-dimensi, yang merupakan akar dari masalah kurangnya kemandirian ekonomi, tingginya ketergantungan pada utang konsumtif, dan kurangnya tabungan serta investasi. Tujuan dari Program Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberdayakan perempuan, terutama ibu rumah tangga dan pemilik usaha mikro, dengan melatih mereka untuk mengelola keuangan rumah tangga secara sehat, mandiri, dan sesuai dengan prinsip Syariah. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui serangkaian kegiatan terstruktur yang mencakup pelatihan intensif selama dua bulan, terdiri dari kuliah interaktif, lokakarya praktis (penganggaran, simulasi transaksi digital, manajemen utang), Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan pembinaan. Kegiatan yang melibatkan 250 peserta dari latar belakang yang beragam, dan mereka semua berhasil dengan berbagai tingkat keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan keuangan mereka, hingga rata-rata skor pasca-tes (78) dibandingkan skor pra-tes (45), menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 73%. Secara kualitatif, lebih dari 90% peserta berhasil menyusun anggaran rumah tangga yang sederhana dan menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam membuat keputusan keuangan. Hasil dari program ini termasuk peningkatan kapasitas anggota masyarakat (pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap), pembentukan kelompok masyarakat belajar mandiri di platform pesan instan, perumusan modul pendidikan literasi keuangan Syariah yang kontekstual, dan niat untuk menerbitkan karya mereka di jurnal ilmiah

Abstract

Indonesia is currently facing a significant challenge in managing its growing energy demands, driven by rapid population growth and accelerating economic development. This rising dependency on fossil-based fuels if left unaddressed poses serious environmental and social risks, including pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, and long-term energy insecurity. As a result, biomass has emerged as one of the most promising renewable energy alternatives, particularly for household and community cooking needs. This study investigates the combustion performance of biomass-based biopellets, formulated from a balanced blend of sawdust waste and rice bran, as the primary fuel source. Combustion experiments were carried out inside a purpose-built biomass stove with dimensions of 520 × 250 × 190 mm. To evaluate how airflow intensity and burning duration influence thermal output, three air velocity settings were applied 3 m/s, 6 m/s, and 9 m/s delivered through a controlled blower system. Combustion duration was systematically extended across ten intervals ranging from 60 seconds up to 600 seconds, allowing a detailed characterization of both combustion and thermal efficiency at each stage. Experimental results revealed that the highest thermal efficiency was consistently achieved at an air velocity of 9 m/s combined with a combustion duration of 600 seconds, yielding 46.349% for biopellets and 41.381% for wood. These figures demonstrate a clear positive relationship between increased airflow and prolonged burning time with overall energy conversion performance. The outcomes of this research are intended to serve as a practical engineering reference for designing next-generation biomass stoves that are both energy-efficient and environmentally responsible. Specifically, an air velocity of 9 m/s and a 600-second combustion window are strongly recommended as the benchmark operating parameters for optimal biomass stove performance in real-world applications.
