Abstract

Evaluation activities of biology learning process for learners is teachers’ and education units’ responsibility. An authentic assessment is crucial to be implemented in the learning process so that learners could be guided to have abilities in knowledge as well as attitudes and skills. The research aims in 2019 is to observe 50 biology teachers’ differences in biology teachers’ skills in Bekasi Regency, Indoensia in mastering authentic assessment knowledge in biology learning before and after the implementation of training activities through a Scientific Approach-based Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (Cirsa).  Cirsa, a learning developed by integrating a CIRC-based scientific approach, axpected to facilitate teacher learning in accordance with the objectives. The research is a quasi-experiment using one group pretest-posttest design. The research independent variable includes Cirsa learning model, whereas the dependent variable is concept understanding of authentic assessment. The research data are analyzed using descriptive statistics that encompasses teachers’ response on learning and analysis of average pretest and posttest. The research results indicate that there is an influence of Cirsa learning application on the concept mastery of authentic assessments of Biology teachers.

Abstract

The environment and humans have a reciprocal and interdependent relationship. There is a reciprocal relationship between the environment and humans resulting in environmental problems that will affect the environment and other living things. The main cause of environmental problems is the waning of one's concern and wise behavior towards the environment. This study aims to determine the effect of students environmental sensitivity on citizenship behavior mediated by students intention to act related to the environment. The research method used is a survey method through a causal study which is analyzed by path analysis. The research was conducted at SMAN 14 Jakarta in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The result of the calculation of the reliability coefficient of the citizenship behavior instrument is 0.896, environmental sensitivity is 0.909, and the intention to act is 0.916. The results of this study indicate that environmental sensitivity has a direct effect on intention to act significantly, intention to act has a significant direct effect on citizenship behavior, environmental sensitivity has a direct effect on citizenship behavior significantly, and environmental sensitivity has an indirect effect on citizenship behavior through intention to act. act. So that intention to act can mediate between environmental sensitivity and citizenship behavior of students.

Abstract

The increase in ecological crises occurs due to the lack of human awareness in protecting the environment. Efforts to overcome this by increasing pro-environmental behavior among students as the next generation. This study aimed to determine the effect of environmental concern and the new environmental paradigm toward students' pro-environmental behavior. The research was conducted at SMAN 54 Jakarta in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year with a sample of 100 students. The method used is a survey method through causal studies and analyzed by path analysis. The results of this research indicate that environmental concern has a direct effect on the new environmental paradigm significantly, the new environmental paradigm has a direct effect on pro-environmental behavior significantly, environmental concern has a direct effect on pro-environmental behavior significantly and environmental concern has an indirect effect on pro-environmental behavior through the new environmental paradigm significantly. Abstract

Lesser Adjutant are included in the 2016 IUCN red list vulnerable status, because the number of Lesser Adjutant populations continues to decreasedue to disturbances to the Lesser Adjutant population. Conservation efforts areneeded to save the Lesser Adjutant (Leptoptilos javanicus). Conservation canbe done both outside its place of origin (ex-situ) and in its natural habitat(in-situ). One place that acts as a shelter and conservation site for LesserAdjutant, located in DKI Jakarta, is Ragunan Zoo. Ragunan Wildlife Parkserves as an area to protect and care for Indonesian animals, including LesserAdjutant. This study aims to observe the daily behaviour of Lesser Adjutant(Leptoptilos javanicus) in Ragunan Zoo. The research method used wasdescriptive qualitative method by observing daily behaviour in captivity. Dataanalysis techniques were carried out descriptively qualitative with observationtechniques accompanied by supporting photos. The results showed the dailybehaviour of Lesser Adjutant in captivity, namely eating, grooming, resistance, watching, and flying.
