Abstract

Education objective is one of inseparable parts of education implementation, including Islamic education. The absence of concrete and measurable objectives of Islamic Education is one of the reasons why this study is conducted. This study aims to provide new breakthrough in the case of Islamic education objectives based on the concept of Mabādi 'Khaira Ummah. This kind of concept is a principle used in the social field triggered by one of Islamic organizations in Indonesia, NU, which is considered relevant to be used as a reference in formulating the objectives of Islamic education. This study belongs to qualitative approach and library research method. The data were collected by collecting some related references. The collected data then analyzed to be formulated into objectives of Islamic Education. As a result, this study provides a conclusion that the objective of Islamic education is creating honest, trustworthy, honorable, fair, helpful, as well as generous students.

Abstract

Pesantren and schools should be integrated to the point where they both need to work together to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Aside from the benefits and drawbacks of the pesantren education model, Abdurrahman Wahid, the "child" of pesantren, has demonstrated that pesantren can generate a nation's competent and competitive generation. As a result, the researcher was able to unearth Abdurrahman Wahid's views through library research involving books, kitab, periodicals, journals, and other connected materials. Abdurrahman Wahid has unique ideas regarding pesantren and school integration. Abdurrahman Wahid believes that this integration is critical in eliminating the knowledge divide and meeting the demands of today's career prospects. If the pesantren are still cut off from the new system that has joined the pesantren system, this will be impossible to do.

Abstract

Kekhawatiran penulis terhadap maraknya kenakalan remaja mendorong penulis untuk melakukan riset ini. Pendidikan Islam yang seharusnya menjad salah satu kontrol bagi kaum muda, ternyata belum membuahkan hasil yang signifikan. Oleh karena itu, menarik bagi penulis untuk melakukan penelusuran lebih dalam guna merumuskan tujuan pendidikan Islam yang menurut penulis ideal. Di sinilah penelitian ini mencoba mengartikulasikan tujuan pendidikan Islam berlandaskan Maqāṣidus Syarī’ah Asy-Syāṭibī. Penelitian kepustakaan ini didasarkan pada beberapa data yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian. Data dikumpulkan kemudian diseleksi sesuai kebutuhan untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut. Penelitian yang masih tergolong langka ini mengarah pada rumusan tujuan pendidikan Islam, yang meliputi: mencetak generasi semangat beragama, penebar kasih sayang, berakal cerdan dan berintelektual tinggi, pelopor keluarga sakinah, dan generasi muslim yang mempunyai etor kerja yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan khazanah keilmuan pendidikan Islam.Kata kunci: tujuan pendidikan Islam, Maqāṣidus Syarī’ah Asy-Syāṭibī

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berbasis isu sosial kontemporer di STKIP Darussalam Cilacap sebagai respons terhadap tantangan zaman seperti intoleransi, radikalisme, konflik digital, dan degradasi moral. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan analisis data secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan kurikulum dilakukan melalui empat tahapan: analisis kebutuhan, desain kurikulum, implementasi, serta evaluasi dan umpan balik. Implementasi pembelajaran menggunakan metode Case-Based Learning (CBL) dan Project-Based Learning (PjBL), yang berhasil meningkatkan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa dengan rata-rata 82,28% serta menunjukkan skor proyek antara 80–85%. Evaluasi juga mengindikasikan perlunya penguatan media digital dan penyusunan rubrik penilaian berbasis isu sosial. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kurikulum PAI berbasis isu sosial kontemporer efektif meningkatkan pemahaman kontekstual, keaktifan belajar, dan kesadaran sosial mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies of At-Taujieh Al-Islamy Islamic Boarding School 2 in Leler, Banyumas, in developing students’ character based on the Pancasila Student Profile. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively with triangulation techniques. The findings reveal four main character-building strategies: (1) role modeling, (2) habituation, (3) guidance, and (4) the use of rewards and punishments. These strategies effectively foster students’ faith, piety, noble character, global outlook, independence, creativity, and critical thinking—reflected through disciplined worship, international engagement, self-reliance, artistic expression, and regular bahtsul masail discussions.
