Abstract

The use of information technology has penetrated all fields, including the education sector. Included in the delivery of learning materials and managing exam questions is also inseparable from this phenomenon. Teachers as the main function of formal education to the younger generation must be able to follow this development so that the teaching and evaluation process for students can run more optimally. The use of software in making teaching materials and learning evaluation (exam questions) can improve teacher performance and quality in providing services to students. The Community Service activity aims to provide information technology-based test questions training using the Wondershare Quiz Creator software, where in addition to the teachers being able to make nine types of questions easily, the documentation and implementation of the test can be arranged according to the needs and desires of the test questions. Documentation and updating of questions can be done easily and saves savings media because test questions are stored in softcopy both in document form and in application form. The teacher can also conduct online evaluations and randomization of questions can be done automatically so as to minimize cheating in the exam. This activity was carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Tembarak with participants from the study programs of Network, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Management.

Abstract

Community Service (PkM) is one of the obligations that must be carried out by lecturers. This time the PkM was held at Tembarak Temanggung Vocational School on December 7, 2018. The PkM organizer was the Lecturer Team of the Informatics Engineering Department, IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta, while the activity participants were Teacher of Tembarak Temanggung Vocational School N which totaled 55 people. PkM was held for 40 hours in the form of activities in the form of lectures, delivery of questions and answers and exercises. The training material is the making of teaching materials using Camtasia Studio software. The implementation of PkM which synergizes the needs of partners and the competence of the PkM Team is an excellent model, so it needs to be continued. This PkM still needs to be followed up, in the form of Training and Assistance for Writing Scientific Articles in the National Journal.

Abstract

The use of information technology-based teaching materials is now an option that teachers cannot abandon. The learning process not only relies on textbooks that can only display text and image narratives. By using the computer, the teaching materials that are delivered to the students can be displayed more interesting and equipped with images, photographs, video even animations. With the completeness of video-based facilities and animation, of course, the material delivered can be more interactive and expected for students to be more digesting the material presented. The challenges teachers face are how teachers can anticipate these developments and be able to develop teaching materials or training questions based on information technology. To provide insight to the teachers, especially the elementary school Muhammadiyah teachers in Pleret subdistrict, the Community dedication team AKPRIND provides mentoring and training of teaching materials and exam-based technology. Information. The training material is the development of teaching materials using video scribe and make exam questions with quiz creator application.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out aim to provide insight to MSME entrepreneurs regarding making product photos that will be used on social media. Mentoring and training materials begin with materials that discuss the importance of using social media as promotional media and materials related to making product photos using simple equipment and packaging product photos with the Pixlr application. The use of the Pixlr application is so that the product photos that are used as content have more attractive value. Implementation of assistance is given to members of the Laras Manunggal MSME Sedayu District. The method of implementation begins with communicating with the board of the Laras Manunggal association, especially regarding the needs required by association members in the use of social media as a promotional media. The results of this communication were followed by a questionnaire to map the understanding of members related to social media. The results of this activity, among the participants, received material to make product photos which were carried out directly by practicing and evaluating the content made.

Abstract

Pada era digital sekarang ini penggunaan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) telah dimanfaatkan juga di bidang pemerintahan untuk berbagai keperluan, termasuk juga di Kapanewon atau Kecamatan Mlati. Saat ini Kecamatan Mlati telah memanfaatkan teknologi digital mendukung kegiatan administratif maupun penyampaian informasi publik ke masyarakat. Dalam penyampaian informasi publik, yang sebelumnya disampaian secara manual, sekarang telah berbasis digital. Dalam rangka menghadapi era digital tersebut, Kapanewon Mlati bekerjasama dengan IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta menyelenggarakan sosialisasi pengelolaan informasi publik. Target peserta adalah Pejabat Pengelola Informasi dan Dokumentasi (PPID) kapanewon dan kalurahan, Kelompok Informasi Masyarakat (KIM) dan pengelola website kapanewon dan kalurahan. Tujuan sosialisasi agar peserta memahami pentingnya penyampaian informasi publik kepada masyarakat secara baik dan benar serta untuk mengindari perilaku yang mengarah ke Cyber Crime. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan sosialisasi kegiatan ini dan kriteria Kinerja/Kepuasan menunjukkan 86,2% peserta merasa puas terhadap kinerja program sosialisasi

Abstract

Penggunaan Alquran online saat ini sudah menjadi salah satu cara dalam melantunkan ayat suci Al quran. Penggunaan Alquran digital baik yang berbasis desktop, mobile maupun website memberikan kemudahan dan kepraktisan bagi penggunanya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Al quran online dengan menggunakan REST API ( Representational State Transfer Application Program Interface ). API merupakan antarmuka yang menjadi perantara antara sistem aplikasi yang berbeda. Format dari REST API yang akan diolah berupa file JSON, file JSON ini menyimpan data-data yang terkait alquran seperti nama surat, arti surat, banyak surat dan informasinya lainnya. Hasil dari File JSON akan diolah dan disesuaikan dengan desain sistem yang direncanakan. Sumber data dari rest API diambil dari https://github.com/bachors/Al-Quran-ID-API. Metode penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode waterfall, dengan menggunakan metode ini proses penelitian diawali dari analisis sistem, membuat desain sistem, implementasi dengan melakukan koding, pengujian terutama dari kelengkapan sistem dan penerapan. Aplikasi dikembangkan berbasis HTML dan dengan menerapkan CSS dan Javascript. Hasil penelitian berupa aplikasi untuk membaca Alquran dengan dilengkapi dengan informasi yang terkait dengan suatu surat, tulisan ayat dalam bahasa Arab beserta terjemahannya. Aplikasi juga dilengkapi dengan suara yang akan menyesuaikan dengan surat yang akan dipilih. Aplikasi sudah diunggah dan dapat dibaca melalui quran.izzawildan.my.id.

Abstract

The model built using the data mining process can be used to make predictions from the data. The model can be built using a datasheet that contains data that is processed from the process. One implementation of the model in data mining is the prediction of a disease such as diabetes. In this study, a data mining model was developed using the k-NN algorithm and data normalization was carried out. The normalization method used is Z-Score and Min-Max. The research methodology is carried out by first determining the datasheet, selecting the data mining model and dividing the datasheet into datasheets into training data and data testing and evaluating the performance of the model created. The process of modeling using python programming. The data mining process uses a classification model using the k-NN algorithm. The datasheet used is a public datasheet, namely the diabetes datasheet which consists of 768 records and 8 attributes. The results of this modeling show that the normalization process can provide better accuracy values. The model developed without normalization produces a value of k=5 with an accuracy of 70%, normalization with the Z-Score method produces a value of k=21 with an accuracy of 72%, normalization with Min Max produces a value of k=3 with an accuracy of 74%. The recommended model is k-NN mode with a value of k=3.

Abstract

Prediction is one of the methods in data mining. One of the models that can be used in prediction is using linear regression. Linear regression is used to make predictions on the data that has been provided. In this study, a linear regression model was made with a datasheet containing data that affected student achievement in achieving final exam scores. The linear regression model developed can be used to predict student test scores. The linear regression model developed can be used to predict student test scores. The datasheet used in the test uses a public datasheet, namely student_performance.csv. The datasheet consists of 395 records and 33 attributes. The attributes used are selected that influence the label. The selection of attributes is based on the results of the weighting in the process of checking the correlation matrix. Based on the weighting, the attributes used are seven attributes and one attribute becomes a label. The research method uses CRISP DM which consists of business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, model making, evaluation, and deploying. The data mining process uses the Rapid Miner application. The results of the study resulted in a linear regression model y=0.729-(0.024×Medu)-(0.020×Fedu)+(0.053×failures)-(0.077×goout)-(0.012×absences)+(0.126×G1)+(0.862×G2). The result of evaluating the performance of the RMSE value was 0.675. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the resulting model can be recommended for use in predicting student test scores.

Abstract

Learning media is currently developing with various innovations, especially in utilizing information technology. One of the technologies used for the learning process is Augmented Reality (AR). The purpose of the research is to provide alternative learning media using information technology, especially focusing on the use of AR. The learning that will be developed in this case is learning aimed at children to introduce learning about the solar system using interactive AR. The content of the learning media developed includes several things, namely learning the solar system and quizzes to test children's knowledge about the solar system. The research method used in developing learning media uses the Research and Development (RD) method. The application development process can be done by adding features. The results of this study produce an AR-based application that describes learning the solar system in 2D/3D form and is equipped with a quiz to train children's knowledge.

Abstract

Cancer is a severe illness that can affect many young and older people. In Indonesia, lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death, whereas colon cancer, with more than 1.8 million cases worldwide in 2018, is the third most common cancer. This study intends to create a model to categorize histological images of lung and colon cancer into five labels to aid medical professionals' categorization job. This study uses a pre-trained model idea known as VGG19 in its CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) technique. The dataset uses 25,000 histological graphic pictures with a ratio of 80% training data and 20% testing data. The classification system for lung and colon cancer contains five categories: lung benign tissue, lung adenocarcinoma, lung squamous cell carcinoma, colon adenocarcinoma, and colon benign tissue. The training result revealed a 99.96% accuracy rate and a 1.5% loss rate.
