Abstract

This article will unravel the emergence of civil religion in the United States that cannot be separated from America’s long history, since the civil war, the declaration of independence and the influence of enlightenment and Christian values (especially Protestantism) that are deeply embedded in the American people. He was born as a recognition of the highest values, not one of the denominations of Christianity itself. At the same time, as a criticism of the use of religious symbols in official state practice. With the hermeneutic reading of Bellah’s works, it can be concluded that civil religion is inevitable, because each group has a religious dimension. To say that there is no civil religion, is to say that the civitas, the civil order itself does not exist, it should not appear. Each group produces communal symbols and rituals that give instructions and tie them together. Thus, civil religion does not only belong to America, it can belong to other nations in the world.

Abstract

Batur is a village located at Gading, Probolinggo, East Java in which the recent condition of economics is dominated by agriculture and husbandry. The animal husbandry potentials of Batur include cow, goat, fowl. Meanwhile, in the agricultural sector, this village has corn, grain, coffe, vine, coconut, sugar palm tree. Based on that potentials, the training program of making the gnarl of corns and shell of coffe into the feed for animals will be necessary. The participants of the training are delegation of cattlemans in every villages of Batur, such as Klepo, Krajan, Rabunan, Tanah Merah. This program is to make sure that every delegation of the villages will be representation of the social empowerment.Keywords: Training, Feeds for Animals, Social Empowerment

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu kebutuhan dari setiap individu, Pendidikan juga telah menjadi faktor penentu keberhasilan pembangunan kualitas peserta didik. Dengan melakukan strategi brand image dapat meningkatkan nilai lembaga untuk pelanggan melalui peningkatan efektifitas dan efisiensi dari proses dan aktivitas. Oleh karena itu sekolah harus melakukan strategi brand image demi meningkatkan kualitas peserta didik dan meraih kepercayaan pelanggan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisi dan memahami strategi brand image dalam membangun kualitas peserta didik dengan study kasus di SD Darut Thalabah, Wonosari, Bondowoso. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan study kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi brand image yang dibangun untuk meningkatkan kualitas peserta didik yaitu melalui, gaya kepemimpina kepala solah, reqruitment SDM tenaga pendidik, metode pembelajaran, peningkatan fasilitas pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the influence of seniors' behavior on discipline, learning motivation, and moral character of students at Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. The main focus of this study is to analyze the interaction patterns of seniority in the daily life of students and their impact on the character development of younger students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Informants consisted of foster guardians, pesantren administrators, and older and younger students. The results showed that the behavior of seniors who tended to be authoritarian and intimidating contributed to a decrease in discipline, learning motivation, and weakened the moral values of younger students. Although there are positive interactions, the frequency is very small compared to repressive interactions. This finding indicates that the culture of seniority that is applied excessively actually hinders the character education process in pesantren. The implications of this study emphasize the need to reformulate pesantren policies related to the pattern of relations between students with a more humanist and educational approach in order to create a coaching climate conducive to the moral and spiritual development of students.

Abstract

This research focuses on the role of strategic leadership in building an innovative culture in Islamic educational institutions, by taking a case study at Pondok Pesantren Al Mashduqiah Kraksaan, Probolinggo Regency. The primary purpose of this research is to identify how strategic leadership practices can encourage the growth of innovation in the learning system and institutional management of pesantren. This research employed a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study design, and data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentary studies.The research informants consisted of pesantren leaders, madrasah heads, teachers, and senior santri. The results showed that strategic leadership in the pesantren environment is reflected in four main aspects: support for educational experiments, commitment to human resource development, exemplary innovative values, and participatory communication strategies. These four aspects form an ecosystem conducive to the emergence of new ideas and the improvement of educational quality. The implications of this study show that in the context of pesantren, visionary, adaptive, and value-based leadership can encourage institutional transformation without leaving the roots of Islamic tradition. Therefore, this strategic leadership model is relevant to be applied more broadly in the development of Islamic education institutions in the contemporary era
