Abstract

Adolescent sexual behavior is increasingly found in everyday life. This behavior can be influenced by peers and the lack of parental role in supervising adolescents. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the role of parents and peers in adolescent sexual behavior. This research was quantitative with a cross sectional study design. The study population was all tenth and eleventh graders of a senior high school in Bandung City, totaling 580 students. The samples were taken by using absolute precision estimation formula, and the sample size was 246 students. The data were collected by using a questionnaire of adolescent sexual behavior, parents role and peers role. All questionnaires had been tested for the reliability and validity. The data were analyzed by using chi Square. The results of this study showed that 49.6% of students had a high-risk sexual behavior, 53.3% had parents who played a bad role in adolescent sexual behavior, 55.7% had peers playing a major role in their sexual behavior. There was a significant relationship between the role of parents and adolescent sexual behavior; nevertheles, there was no significant relationship between the role of peers and adolescent sexual behavior. Schools were suggested to form peer groups and use millennial approaches to change adolescent behavior.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic is a major public problem that must be resolved by the government as its obligation to protect all citizens. Puskesmas as a national health system is a means of providing individual and community health services. This allows the puskesmas to provide vaccine services to all levels of society in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine community satisfaction with vaccination services at the Puskesmas. This research is a quantitative study using a descriptive method, which was carried out from July to September 2021. The population in the study was people who received the first dose of vaccination at the Mandiangin Health Center, Bukittinggi City. The level of patient satisfaction was measured using the servqual method by distributing questionnaires to 89 people participating in the Covid 19 vaccine. Each statement was scored using a Likert scale of 1-4. In this study, the highest community satisfaction scores were produced in each dimension, namely; Appearance of health workers (87.6%), timely implementation of vaccines (78.6%), vaccine complaints handled properly (75.2%), patient confidentiality maintained (89.8%), and vaccine services do not discriminate differentiate community status (94.3%). Puskesmas need to maintain and improve existing achievements. Some things that need to be considered for further improvement include providing detailed information to the public regarding vaccines as a whole so that the public can receive clear and detailed information.

Abstract

The pandemic has hit Indonesia for more than two years, not only in the health sector, the education sector, the pandemic has also greatly impacted the economic sector, especially small economic actors, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs are heavily affected, especially in the production process. This study aims to see an overview of MSME production during the pandemic in Ujung Jaya Village, Sumedang Regency. This research is a descriptive study, to see a description of the production of MSMEs in Ujung Jaya Village during the pandemic period which was carried out in June - July 2021. The population in the study of all community groups who had MSMEs registered with the Cooperatives were 83 MSMEs. The picture of MSME production is measured by conducting interviews with the owners of each MSME. The results of this study indicate that a decrease in the number of MSME production during the Covid-19 pandemic, including rice stalls/food stalls experiencing a 40% decrease in production, a 54.2% decrease in the production of pastries/wet cakes, an 11.1% decrease in vegetable cultivation or the like. and a 70% reduction in artisan production during the pandemic. For this reason, things that need to be considered for further improvement include marketing with digital patterns both in the marketplace and on social media, in order to increase production and sales again.

Abstract

One of the quality health services from the health center can be measured by knowing patient satisfaction with the service. For Puskesmas Mandiangin Bukittinggi City, patient satisfaction is very important, considering the vision of this Puskesmas is to make Mandiangin District Health Center as a prime health service unit, equitable and affordable by the community to support the achievement of optimal health degrees. The purpose of this study was to determine patient satisfaction with the performance of health services at the clinic by measuring the level of patient satisfaction. This research is a descriptive study, to see a picture of patient satisfaction in the Mandiangin District Health Center which was conducted in August - October 2019. The population in the study was outpatients in the Puskesmas Mandiangin Bukittinggi District Health Center. The level of patient satisfaction was measured by the servqual method by conducting interviews with 73 patients at the public health center. Each statement was scored using the 1-4 Likert scale. In this study, the majority of respondents were satisfied with the service of health workers (doctors and nurses) at the public health clinic at Puskesmas Mandiangin (71.2%). The empathy dimension has a high percentage (75.3%). While responsiveness has a lower presentation compared to other dimensions (64.4%). The highest patient satisfaction value in each dimension namely; Nurse appearance (3.71), doctor's presence on time (3.71), nurse answers patient's questions clearly (3.64), patient believes in the medicine given by doctor (3.77) and doctor is able to communicate well with patients (3,81). Puskesmas Mandiangin needs to maintain and improve existing achievements. Some things that need to be taken into consideration to be further improved include the presence and skills of doctors at the clinic, the speed at which doctors solve problems, nurses 'experiences and nurses' attention to being good listeners.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit the world, including Indonesia, and has had various impacts, including MSMEs. This study aims to determine the impact of Covid-19 on the UMKM of Ujung Jaya Village at this time. This type of research is descriptive qualitative by using secondary data from research results and literature references regarding data and information related to research. The results of this study show the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on MSMEs, the challenges of MSMEs during the Covid 19 Pandemic and the MSMEs Strategy in dealing with Covid 19 in Ujung Jaya Village. The impact of the pandemic in Ujung Jaya Village is quite strong, many MSME players have suffered losses due to a decrease in people's purchasing power and a reduction in the production process. It is recommended that to overcome the impact of the pandemic in Ujung Jaya Village, MSME actors can switch to the concept of going digital with the use of social media and other e-commerce to revive their MSME movement

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus atau penyakit gula merupakan salah satu dari 7 penyakit kronis yang ada didunia. Penelitian ini berawal dari fenomena Jumlah kasus penderita Diabetes Mellitus meningkat dan memiliki jumlah yang begitu tinggi tiap tahun dari 2012-2013 total sebanyak 2.566 dan Penderita Diabetes Mellitus dengan Ulkus Diabetikum Juga mengalami peningkatan di tahun 2011 berjumlah 53 orang, ditahun 2012 sebanyak 73 orang dan pada tahun 2013 sebanyak 84 orang (Rekam Medik RSAM,2013). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Motivasi Penderita Diabetes Mellitus dengan Upaya Pencegahan Ulkus Diabetikum di Poli Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi 2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 24 Juli sampai 20 Agustus 2014 di Poli Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Achmad Mochtar. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien yang dihitung berdasarkan jumlah kasus pasien Diabetes Mellitus yang datang ke Poli Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sample accidental sampling, ditetapkan sampel sebanyak 71 orang dan diuji chi square. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan dari 71 responden terdapat 36 (50,7%) responden yang memiliki pengetahuan rendah, 39 (54,9%) responden yang memiliki motivasi rendah, 41(57,7%) responden yang kurang baik melakukan pencegahan Ulkus Diabetikum dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan pencegahan ulkus Diabetikum di Poli Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi Tahun 2014 (p = 0,000 , OR = 23,111) dan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara motivasi dengan pencegahan ulkus Diabetikum di Poli Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi Tahun 2014 (p = 0,000 , OR = 37,917). Dapat disimpulkan pengetahuan dan motivasi responden rendah dalam upaya pencegahan ulkus diabetikum. Setelah penelitian ini disarankan bagi responden dan keluarga agar memeriksakan kesehatan secara rutin dan meningkatkan motivasi untuk mencegah terjadinya komplikasi dari Diabetes Mellitus yaitu Ulkus Diabetikum.

Abstract

Introduction: Working positions that are not in accordance with the principles of body ergonomics will cause work-related illnesses, namely complaints of back pain. Risk factors that can trigger discomfort in the back area include age, body mass index, length of work, type of work chair, sitting position, and physical activity performed. Stretching exercises can increase muscle blood circulation causing spasm and reduced ischemia so that the metabolism of materials needed by the body becomes well dispersed and processes the elimination of waste materials that are not needed by the body more efficiently The purpose of this study is to increase knowledge about how to deal with back pain in workers. Method: This type of research used a qualitative study method with a total sample of 8 male workers, all workers did not know about ergonomic positions and there were 6 workers who experienced complaints of back pain. Result:Actions that can be used to increase knowledge and reduce pain levels in workers withproviding health education on ergonomic positions and stretching exercises. Conclusion:Based on these actions, workers already know and understand about ergonomic positions that can be applied in the workplace and after doing 12 stretching exercises the workers stated that being more relaxed and comfortable between work, the felt back pain also reduced, to a scale of 2 .
