Abstract

Telah terjadi kegagalan pada komponen poros baja karbon, kegagalan terjadi  pada saat komponendioperasikan.  Poros  untuk  aplikasi as  sink  roll berfungsi  untuk  memutar  drum,  poros  atau  asdisambungkan  dengan  drum  melalui  pengelasan,  pada  area  lasan  tersebut terjadinya  kegagalan.Untuk  mengetahui  penyebab  terjadinya  kegagalan,  dilakukan  serangkaian  pengujian  terhadapkomponen as  sink  roll antara lain  :  pengamatan  visual  (fraktografi),  pengujian komposisi  kimia,pengamatan  metalografi,  pengujian  kekerasan  dan pengujian  SEM/EDS  pada  bagian  komponenyang mengalami kegagalan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan material komponen as sink roll sesuaidengan  standar  JIS  G4051  S45C  untuk kategori Carbon  Steels  for  Machine  Structural  Use.Kegagalan yang dialami adalah kegagalan fatique dengan daerah awal retakan berasal dari bagiantepi komponen. Kegagalan ini terjadi disebabkan oleh konsentrasi tegangan pada daerah logam lasselama  komponen  dioperasikan,  adanya  mikroporositas  di  permukaan  logam  las  dan  adanyainklusi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in welding current strength on the toughness of MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding with an ER 70S 6 (AWS A5.18) welding wire with a diameter of 1.2 mm on low carbon steel ST 37 with a thickness of 10 mm using rain.impact Charpy with ASTM E 23 standards. The method used in this study is an experimental method. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the welding current strength against impact results MIG welding of steel ST 37 with a strong variation of the welding current 120 A, 140 A and 160 A. The result oftest Charpy Impact this isspecimen without welding control ortest results impact Charpy has anvalue Impact averageof 2.04 Joules / mm2, specimens with a welding current of 120 Ampere have anvalue Impact averageof 2.15 Joules / mm2 specimens with a strong welding current of 140 Ampere have anvalue value Impact an average of 2.20 Joules / mm2, the impact specimen with a welding current of 160 Ampere has anvalue Impact averageof 1.99 Joules / mm2, Based on thetest, the Charpy Impact results of MIG (weldingMetal Inert Gas) with variations in welding current strength of 120 A, 140 A, and 160 A can be concluded that from the results obtained there is a difference in the toughness of the material in absorbing energy from the shock load that hits it as well as the impact value on each specimen against the variation of the current given. This difference occurs because the effect of heat that occurs on the material increases according to the current strength received by the MIG welding material so that this affects the structure of the material being welded so as to make the toughness and impact value of each specimen obtained show different results.

Abstract

This study examines the role of communication in strategic decision-making in public organizations. In a complex and dynamic environment, stakeholders are struggling with challenges in formulating optimal decisions. Effective communication is key to strengthening transparency, building trust, and increasing participation from various stakeholders. With a literature review approach, this study identifies the best strategies in communication management that support more informative and responsive decision-making to environmental changes. The results of the study indicate that two-way symmetrical communication, information transparency, and strategic crisis management contribute to increasing the efficiency and accuracy of decisions taken. Thus, this study provides insight into the importance of communication strategies in building solid relationships between public organizations and their stakeholders, and how this affects the organization's success in achieving its expected goals.

Abstract

This article explores the challenges and opportunities faced by the authority of the Bible in the context of postmodern culture. Postmodernism—characterized by truth relativism, the deconstruction of meaning, and skepticism toward institutions—has significantly shifted society’s perception of authoritative texts, including Scripture. Drawing on key thinkers such as Lyotard, Derrida, Vanhoozer, and Grenz, the study examines how biblical authority is no longer universally accepted but interpreted through the lens of individual subjectivity and personal experience. In response to this shift, the article proposes several constructive hermeneutical approaches—contextual, narrative, communal, and pneumatological—that allow Christians to remain faithful to divine revelation while addressing the needs of contemporary culture. It also emphasizes the importance of embodied witness and the role of the church as a community of interpretation that brings the authority of the Bible to life in practical, relational, and socially relevant ways. Ultimately, this study concludes that although postmodernism questions claims of absolute truth, it also provides a meaningful space for the church to reimagine how Scripture can be lived out and communicated effectively in a changing world.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data operasional dari 2024 di PT Terminal Peti Kemas Surabaya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa produktivitas alat berat jenis reach stacker. Untuk menjamin kelancaran operasional terminal, stacker reach adalah salah satu alat utama dalam proses bongkar muat peti kemas. Untuk menemukan variabel yang memengaruhi kinerja alat tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Wawancara, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi kegiatan harian adalah semua metode yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai faktor internal dan eksternal, termasuk penjadwalan kerja, kondisi peralatan, dan kemampuan operator, mempengaruhi kinerja reach stacker. Penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa saran strategis untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi operasional reach stacker di lingkungan terminal.

Abstract

In the era of globalization and digital transformation, organizations face new challenges in managing cultural diversity and technological complexity. Leaders are required to quickly adapt to the ever-changing global dynamics while fostering synergy within multicultural teams. This article aims to analyze how Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and digital technology can be integrated into a multiplication leadership model to enhance the effectiveness of global organizations. Using a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this research explores the three main dimensions of CQ—cognitive, motivational, and behavioral—as well as the application of digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and virtual communication in leadership development. The findings indicate that leaders with high levels of CQ are more effective in leading multicultural teams and building harmonious cross-cultural connections. Meanwhile, the use of digital technology accelerates decision-making processes, mentoring, and collaboration within flexible and dynamic organizational structures. The integration of cultural intelligence and digital technology results in an adaptive, collaborative, and innovative leadership model. Examples of the implementation of this model in global companies such as Microsoft, Tesla, and Airbnb further reinforce the findings. This article provides practical contributions for organizations in designing training strategies and leadership models based on CQ and digital leadership to face global challenges more effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia adalah faktor utama bagi perusahaan hal ini disebabkan karena sebagai penggerak operasional suatu usaha dengan seluruh fasilitas yang tersedia dalam mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Aktivitas yang utama yang terjadi di terminal peti kemas adalah kegiatan bongkar muat. Salah satu yang melibatkan aktifitas sumber daya manusia adalah operator head truck. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja dan dampak pengaruh kualitas operator head truck terhadap produktivitas bongkar muat. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi pada divisi operasional di PT. Terminal Petikemas Surabaya selama 6 bulan dan diolah dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompenasi berpengaruh pada kelancaran kegiatan, rendahnya keahlian serta professional SDM. Analisa yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan melihat produksi boxis per operator dan absensi kehadiran operator setiap bulan.
