Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada submateri Sistem Pernapasan Manusia. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI MIA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2016/2017 berjumlah 28 siswa. Penelitian merupakan penelitian lanjutan dari penelitian pengembangan yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket respon siswa. Angket yang digunakan merupakan angket tertutup menggunakan skala likert dengan empat skala penilaian. Terdapat tiga dimensi respon yang akan dilihat yakni dimensi kognitif, afektif, dan konatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan persentase pada dimensi kognitif sebesar 80%, dimensi afektif sebesar 77%, dan dimensi konatif sebesar 78%. Secara keseluruhan siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan rata-rata persentase skor sebesar 78%.Kata Kunci: LKS, inkuiri terbimbing, respon siswa.

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to identify the effect of cooperative learning type of kartu arisan toward students learning outcomes. The research focused on the material about cell for eleventh grade science major. The research applied quasi-experimental method with non-equivalent control group design. Sample in this research was taken through intact group technique, where eleventh grade of science 1 as the experimental class and eleventh grade of science 2 as the control class. The instrument was a multiple-choice test consisting of 25 questions. The average value of students outcomes at the experimental class was 19.97. Meanwhile, the average for control class was 18.38. Using U Mann-Whitney test, the research obtained -Zcount < -Ztable there was -1.98 < -1.96. This value means that there is a significant difference of learning outcomes between students who use cooperative learning type of arisan card and those who study conventionally. The value of effect size obtained in this research was 0.45 which could be classified medium. It shows us that cooperative learning of type arisan card has an effect as much as 17.36% towards students outcomes, especially in the material of cell eleventh grade science student. Keywords: Cooperative Learning type of kartu arisan, learning outcomes, cell

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the validity of guided inquiry-based student worksheet on human respiratory system subdivision. The method that was used in this research was development research with 11th student grade of MIA 4 Senior High School Number 1 Pontianak on academic year 2016/2017 as the research subject with total 28 students. This research had done in two phase consist of preliminary and formative evaluation. Validation sheet was used as the techniques of data collection. Guided inquiry-based student worksheet on human respiratory system subdivision were validated by lecturer and teacher. As the research result, guided inquiry-based student worksheet on human respiratory system subdivision was declared very valid with Vc=1,00. It has four aspects, these are feasibility content, language, dish, and graphic. So it can be concluded that guided inquiry-based student worksheet on human respiratory system subdivision is very valid to be used in the learning process.                                                                             Keywords: student worksheet, guided inquiry, development research, human respiratory system

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know validity of student worksheet base on POE of biodiversity sub-material of the tenth grade of senior high school. The method that was used in this research was a development research consisted of 2 phase preliminary and formative evaluation. Techniques of data collection of this research was marking sheet. As the research result, student worksheet base on POE that was develop validation were a lecturer and teacher. According to the assessment that was given by the validators, student worksheet base on POE belongs to the very high validity category with value of Vc=1,00 for all criteria including content utility with value of Vc=1,00 very high validity category, language worthiness with value of Vc=1,00 very high validity category, display advisability with value of Vc=1,00 very high validity category, and graphical advisability with value of Vc=1,00 very high validity category, it was suitable to be used as a learning material. Keywords: Student Worksheet, POE, Development Research, Validity.

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to identify the effect of cooperative learning type index card match toward students learning outcomes. The research focused on the material about virus for tenth grade science major. The research applied quasi-experimental method with non-equivalent control group design. Sample in this research was taken through intact group technique, where tenth grade of science 1 as the experimental class and tenth grade of science 2 as the control class. The instrument was a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 questions. The average value of students outcomes at the experimental class was 16.13. Meanwhile, the average for control class was 14.43. Using U Mann-Whitney test, the research obtained -Zcount< -Ztable there was -2.21< -1.96. This value means that there is a significant difference of learning outcomes between students who use cooperative learning type index card match and those who study conventionally. The value of effect size obtained in this research was 0.56 which could be classified medium. It shows us that cooperative learning of type index card match has an effect as much as 21.23% towards students outcomes, especially in the material of virus tenth grade science student. Keywords: Cooperative Learning type index card match, learning outcomes, virus

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to analyze student’s satisfaction on the quality of laboratory services in Biology Education. The exploratory research was used in this research. The subjects in this research are Biology Education’s students of FKIP Tanjungpura University. The data were collected using questionnaire with Likert scale. Data were analyzed to reveal the picture on the ground that were collected descriptively by interpreting the results of data processing through the tabulation. The results of this research are: (1) The level of students’s satisfaction to the services of laboratory/laboratory staff in the amount of 41.24% stated quite satisfied, 42.27% are satisfied, and 11.34% are very satisfied; (2) The level of students’s satisfaction to the service of lab assistant in the amount of 40.21% stated quite satisfied, 40.21% are satisfied, and 12.37% are very satisfied; (3) The level of students’s satisfaction to the equipment in the lab in the amount of 58.76% stated quite satisfied, 21.66% are satisfied, and 2.06% are very satisfied; (4) The level of students’s satisfaction to the lab materials in the amount of 52.58% stated quite satisfied, 22.68% are satisfied, and 2.06% are very satisfied; (5) The level of students’s satisfaction to the physical facilities and supporting laboratories in the amount of 46.39% stated quite satisfied, 22.68% are satisfied, and 5:15% very satisfied. Overall the level of student’s satisfaction to the laboratory services of Biology Education in FKIP Tanjungpura University is quite satisfied. Keywords: student’s satisfaction, laboratory services, quite satisfied.

Abstract

Learning large whole numbers in elementary schools is generally given abstractly using conventional methods by educators so many students experience difficulty in solving the problems given. This research aims to create learning media that can help students solve several problems related to large whole numbers. The Dartboard Math learning media developed in this research is in the form of a box in which there is a circle board with categories of large whole number values. The method used was the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model. This research has carried out product trials by 27 class IV students at SDN Jakarta Timur. The result showed that the Dartboard Math media has demonstrated validity in the media aspect and material aspect with the same percentage of 92%, both of which are in the Very Appropriate category. This media has tested the practicality of products with a percentage of 89% falling into the Very Practical category. User respondents produced an average percentage of product attractiveness index of 89%, including the Very Attractive category. Based on these results, it can be seen that the Dartboard Math learning media is valid, practical, and effectively used as a learning media that can help the mathematics learning process in large whole number material.
