Abstract

Institut Teknologi Kalimantan melalui program pengabdian kepada masyakat berkontribusi dalam percepatan pembangunan daerah melalui pelatihan pengembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kelurahan Perapatan Kota Balikpapan. Telah dilakukan survey ke 9 UMKM di Kelurahan Prapatan melalui sistem door to door dan didapatkan beberapa permasalahan seperti packaging, pemasaran dan manajemenyang yang dirangkum dalam kegiatan sosialisasi pelatihan dalam bidang Packaging Product, Digital Marketing, dan Manajemen Keuangan dengan masing-masing pemberian materi selama 90 menit. Para UMKM yang ada di sekitar Prapatan diharapkan mampu mengembangkan kualitas UMKM masing-masing setelah menerima perlatihan ini. Pre Test dan Post Test dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman para peserta. Setelah diberikan materi, diperoleh rata-rata Pre-Test 64,54 dan Post- Test 93,64 dari 11 peserta yang hadir sehingga tingkat kenaikan sebesar 31,07%. Melalui pelatihan yang telah diberikan kepada 11 peserta dari berbagai perwakilan UMKM, Peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dapat dilihat dari hasil Pre-Test dan Post-Test.

Abstract

Tracer study is a system used to obtain information about alumni a year after their graduation. Tracer Study 2019 had 199 ITK Graduates consisting of alumni in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Of the 163 graduates, 120 of them had received the Kaltim Cemerlang Scholarship. The respondent's highest  Grade point average (GPA) was from the System information study program, and the lowest grade point average was from the electrical engineering study program.   Graduates business consists of 56,67% private company, 8,33% entrepreneur , government company  34,17%  and 0,83% profit organization. Based on the scale rate of department grade point average. The industrial technology and process department was in the lowest position with 3.29, and mathematicsand information technology's information technology stands in the first position with 3.49. kaltim cemerlang graduates scholarship prefer to work with privet company then government company, despite them havinga GPA over 3.00. graduates who take multinational companies got Rp 2.828.000/month. A few of them who take national companies had an average salary until Rp 5.212.000 than private companies.Keywords: GPA, Tracer Study, Kaltim Cemerlang ScholarshipAbstrakTracer study dibutuhkan untuk mencari data alumni untuk diolah menjadi suatu informasi yang dapat diterima civitas kampus. Data hasil mentracer alumni akan digunakan oleh pejabat tinggi kampus, alumni dan juga perusahaan sebagai informasi mengenai kualitas alumni Institut Teknologi Kalimantan setiap tahunnya. Tracer Study 2019 ditunjukan untuk alumni ITK 2016, 2017 dan 2018 yang berjumlah 199 alumni dan yang merespon sebanyak 163. Dari 163 alumni yang merespon terdapat 120 yang pernah mendapatkan Beasiswa Kaltim Cemerlang. Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) yang memiliki median tertinggi adalah Sistem Informasi dan median terendah dari prodi Teknik Elektro. Kategori bidang usaha para alumni terdiri dari 56,67% Perusahaan Swasta, 8,33% wiraswasta , Instansi Pemerintah (termasuk BUMN) 34,17% dan Organisasi non-Profit/Lembaga swadaya masyarakat sebanyak 0,83%. Berdasarkan urutan perolehan IPK terhadap Jurusan, Jurusan Teknologi Industri dan Proses menempati terendah dengan 3.29 dan Jurusan Matematika dan Teknologi Informasi (JMTI) berada diposisi tertinggi dengan 3.49. Alumni Beasiswa Kaltim Cemerlang lebih banyak memilih bekerja di perusahaan swasta dibanding kan instansi pemerintah meskipun banyak diantaranya memiliki IPK >3.00. untuk alumni yang bekerja dengan skala multinasional mendapatkan Rp 2.828.000 setiap bulannya. Jumlah alumni beasiswa kaltim cemerlang dengan skala nasional  sebanyak 32 lebih sedikit dibandingkan alumni yang bekerja di skala nasional pada perusahaan swasta namun, penghasilan yang diperoleh perbulannya rata-rata mencapai  Rp 5.212.000 lebih besar dibandingkan perusahaan swasta.Kata kunci: IPK, Tracer Study, Beasiswa Kaltim Cemerlang

Abstract

The objective of research is to determine the effect of welding current on the hardness, tensile strength, and microstructure from GTAW welding with ER70S2. This research used ST 41 low alloy steel material containing C = 0,16 %, Si = 0,23 %, Mn = 0,69 %, S = 0,031 %, P=0,019 %, yield point 40 kg/mm2, tensile strength 52 kg/mm2, dan elongation 32 %. ST 41 steel welding is carried out with current variations of 90 A, 110 A and 130 A with GTAW welding methode. Types of variation of the notch use are ][, V and X. The specimens was subjected to hardness, tensile strength, and metallography. Based on the result of hardness test with the factor elimination method in obtaining the angle ][ notch with current 90 A, V notch with current 90 A, and X notch with current 110 A. Tensile test results of the three materials, the highest tensile strength at the X notch with current 110 A is 416,8 N/mm2. The lowest tensile strength is obtained at welds with ][ notch is 360.73 N/mm2. From result of metallograph that we get if X notch with current 110 A is more stable, than ][ notch with current 90 A and V notch with current 90 A.

Abstract

Every year, a program called a "tracer study" is run to collect and analyze data from graduates (a year after graduation). Seeks to guarantee that graduates have good work and submit it on time following university or institute criteria after graduation. Within 1-2 months of filling it out, a data analyst processes the data and validates its accuracy. Data for 10 study programs were collected, and comparisons were made between the graduation years of 2019 and 2020. In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic started. The Institut Teknologi kalimantan (ITK) was significantly impacted by Covid-19, which led to all work being done online on campus. Evaluation criteria for ITK include the length of time it takes graduates to find employment, their GPA, the nature of their alumni employment, and their reasons for not finding employment one year after graduation. In order to be able to create more qualified alumni, the rate ranking approach will help examine the success of the study program and provide an evaluation of the study program. This paper's two lowest-ranking disciplines are electrical engineering, materials engineering, and metallurgy..

Abstract

Improving community expertise through motorbike maintenance training is carried out as a form of community service. This was done to help improve the quality of human resources (HR) in the community of Batu Ampar Region, North Balikpapan. The final target of each activity provided basic ability to compete in terms of skills and the opportunity to open new job opportunities. Human resources are the subject or object of development, covering the entire human life cycle, from conception to the end of life. Therefore, developing the quality of human resources is very important, especially in small things. Based on the cycle above, there needs to be an effort to provide alternative solutions that can improve quality, one of which is regarding vehicle maintenance knowledge. Community service activities carried out by ITK Mechanical Engineering and SAA (Student Automotive Association). The general activities carried out are divided into 3, such as basic automotive workshops, basic automotive practices, and free service. After being provided with material about motorbike maintenance, the community is equipped with motorbike maintenance practices with the hope that the community can independently open a repair shop (independent repair shop).
