Abstract

A study on the performance of sheep production has been carried out in the enclave production of fat-tailed sheep (DEG) in East Lombok. The purpose of this study was to determine the production potential of fat-tailed sheep, which have been reared traditionally. The method that employed throughout the study was a survey related method. The locations of the study were decided according to the purposive sampling techniques based on the population density of DEG. Samples were collected randomly; as many as 20 individuals, 10 males and 10 females, each as a representative of any age group, which had previously been determined. The variables observed were the birth weight, weaning weight and adult weight as well as statistical measurements of the vital body, i.e. the body length and the chest circumference. Data on the performance of the production were analyzed and tested statistically using t-test. These studies suggest that gender affect significantly (P <0.05) for the body weight and the vital body measurements. The rams had higher body weight than the ewes. Furthermore, the linear body size of fat tailed-rams was larger than those of the fat-tailed ewes.

Abstract

Pengembangan kendali kecepatan motor dc untuk menjaga stabilitas operasionalnya dalam berbagaiaplikasi dengan menggunakan sistem cerdas. Pada penelitian ini akan dikembangkan Kendali kecepatan motordc shunt dengan kontroler yang berbasis logika fuzzy dan kontroler pembatas arus berbasis logika fuzzy denganmenggunakan rangkaian konverter tegangan berupa PWM-Choper.Dengan penelitian ini diharapkan bahwa pengaturan kecepatan motor dc akan sesuai refrensi dan padaaplikasinya tidak terjadi arus yang berlebih.Kata kunci: Kendali Kecepatan Motor, Fuzzy Logic Control, PWM-Choper

Abstract

Suatu kegiatan penyuluhan yang bertujuan untuk transfer Ipteks kepada para peternak kambing perbibitan di Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, NTB, dilaksanakan di areal peternakan Muda Bakti Barokah (MBB) Farm di desa Lelong Kecamatan Praya Tengah. Peserta terdiri dari anggota binaan farm dengan jumlah peserta 26 orang peternak. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan manajemen pemeliharaan dengan memacu produksi anak dengan metode flashing terutama pada peternakan pembibitan dengan cara perbaikan pakan pada ternak betina dewasa dalam mempersiapkan kebuntingannya sehingga diharapkan mendapatkan bobot lahir tinggi dan kelahiran prolific. Permasalahan yang ada kurang tepatnya manajemen pemeliharaan pada ternak mengakibatkan rendahnya bobot lahir anak, rendahnya pertumbuhan dan pada akhirnya tidak optimalnya produktivitas ternak. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dalam bentuk penyuluhan, Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat merubah perilaku peternak dalam mengelola ternaknya terutama pada pemberian pakan yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi. Pemeliharaan ternak dengan pemberian pakan hijauan ditambahkan konsentrat pada ternak 2 minggu sebelum dikawinkan untuk mendapatkan anak pada kelahiran kembar (prolifit) dan betina bunting pada sepertiga kebuntingan agar bobot lahir anak meningkat. Pengukuran respon dilakukan pada perkawinan ternak yang menghasilkan kebuntingan serta bobot lahir yang tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model of an x-ray machine into a simpler form. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the Dick and Carey model. Prior to further development, the developer conducted a literature study through journals published by the Islamic University of Lamongan. The results of the journal state that the X-ray machine is a machine that functions as an inspection of passenger baggage which can be in the form of organic and non-organic materials, metal and non-metal as well as materials containing explosives without opening suitcases or bags, boxes or containers as material wrappers. using X-rays. Then in the development process it is carried out in a hierarchical order and an expert review is also carried out through material experts, instructional design experts, and media experts.

Abstract

Abstract-West Java has various regional conditions. The condition of the area certainly has the potential for disasters that have a significant impact on the agricultural sector. Floods are one of the factors that damage agricultural land. Flood risk management plays an important role in guiding the government in making timely and appropriate decisions for flood rescue and relief. This study aims to examine flood risk assessment in the agricultural sector in West Java. The Multi Attribute Utility Theory method is used to solve problems related to spatial planning and disaster management because it is systematic and suitable for solving complex problems such as the agricultural sector. The results showed that the areas of agricultural land in West Java that were highly prone to flooding included Kuningan, Bogor, Tasikmalaya, Sumedang, West Bandung, Bekasi City, Tasikmalaya City, Bogor City, Cimahi City. Furthermore, the results of this study were visualized by mapping flood risk using GIS. This can be used for flood disaster management efforts. This research is expected to help policy making at the Department of Agriculture and Food Security in monitoring agricultural land that is prone to flooding in order to minimize the occurrence of flood disasters in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

Marbling refers to white fat granules within muscle fibres that enhance meat tenderness and flavour. This study aimed to determine the marbling score of male Bali beef using two methods: ultrasonography and visual assessment based on muscle location and storage duration. Five intensively raised male Bali cattle (average weight 227 kg) were examined. Visual assessment used 0.5 kg samples from sirloin, rib, and round muscles, analysed with ImageJ and Minitab 17. Results showed that both muscle location and storage duration significantly affected (P < 0.01) the marbling score. The ultrasonography method yielded marbling scores of 1.06–1.44, while the visual method produced 1.10–1.50. The ultrasonography method proved reliable for predicting marbling without slaughter, with higher marbling observed in passive muscles (sirloin) than in active muscles (rib and round). Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of internal auditors, internal controls, and the implementation of good corporate governance on fraud prevention. This study is a quantitative research that utilizes primary data as its source. The method used in this research is a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 77 respondents who are employees of Bank BNI Regional Office in Makassar. The hypothesis testing employed is multiple linear regression analysis. The research results indicate that internal auditors and internal controls have a positive effect on fraud prevention, while the implementation of good corporate governance has a negative effect on fraud prevention. The overall test results show that internal auditors, internal controls, and the implementation of good corporate governance have a positive effect on fraud prevention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sharia compliance pada Al-Badar Hotel Syariah Makassar dengan menggunakan indikator Fatwa DSN-MUI No. 108 tahun 2016 dan Sharia Islamic Hotel Assessment Tool (SIHAT). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumenasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Al-Badar Hotel Syariah Makassar belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan Fatwa MUI No. 108 Tahun 2016. Hotel Al-Badar telah menggunakan rekening bank syariah tetapi masih menggunakan rekening bank konvensional dalam melakukan pelayanan, serta belum memiliki sertifikat halal dari MUI untuk makanan dan minuman. Sementara tingkat penerapan sharia compliance pada Al-Badar Hotel Syariah Makassar berdasarkan Sharia Islamic Hotel Assessment Tool (SIHAT) berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 61 persen.
