Abstract

The degradation of methylene blue was carried out by photolysis method with the help of a Cdots/Au catalyst. This study aims to determine the optimum concentration of dopen Au for Cdots and the optimum time for degradation of methylene blue with the help of a Cdots/Au catalyst. The photolysis method was carried out in a reactor equipped with 3 15 watt lamps with a UV wavelength of 254 nm. The absorption of methylene blue was measured using a spectrophotometer UV-Vis. The optimum Au dopen results were obtained at a concentration of 25 ppm with a degradation percentage of 39.94% and the optimum time for photolysis degradation was 6 hours of irradiation with a degradation percentage of 70.28%.

Abstract

Fire Robot serves to detect and extinguish the fire. The robot is controlled by the microcontroller ATMEGA8535 automatically. This robot contains of several sensors, such as 5 sets of ping parallax as a robot navigator, a set UVTron equipped with fire-detecting driver, DC motor driver L298 with two DC servo motors. The robot was developed from a prototype that has been studied previously with the addition on the hardware side of the sound activation and two sets of line detector. The robot will active if it receives input from the sound activation unit and will start to find the fire with “search the wall” navigation techniques. The line sensor was used as a door and home detector and circle the fire area.To extinguish the fire, this robot uses a fan driven by a BD139 transistor circuit. The overall test results show that the robot can detect the presence of the fire in each room. The robot also can find the fire and extinguish it within 1 minute.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze PT Pegadaian (PERSERO)'s distribution of rahn financing, which is influenced by inflation rates, fluctuations in gold prices, and the number of customers. This research is quantitative, using secondary data. In collecting data, this study uses two methods, namely the method of documentation and the method of literature. The samples used were 10 samples from PT. Pegadaian's financial statements from 2012 to 2021. In this study, the data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Data processing in this study uses e-views software version 10. Partial test results state that (1) the inflation rate has a negative and insignificant effect on the distribution of Rahn financing; (2) fluctuations in the price of gold have a significant effect on the distribution of Rahn financing; and (3) the number of customers has a negative and insignificant effect on the distribution of Rahn financing. Rahn's financing distribution is influenced by the inflation rate, gold price fluctuations, and the number of customers based on simultaneous test results.

Abstract

The photosonolysis method has been investigated to degrade the metanil yellow in a sample solution using the catalyst of TiO2. This study aims to determine how the effect of adding catalyst mass to the degradation of metanil yellow. The variation of the mass of the catalyst used to degrade the metanil yellow dye is from 0.5 grams, 0.1 grams, 0.15 grams, and  0.25 grams at 120 minutes according to the optimum time. The UV-Vis spectrophotometer was used to calculate the absorbance of metanil yellow before and after degradation processes, while FTIR was used to determine the spectrum and functional groups before and after degradation. The results of the measurement of the maximum wavelength of the color of metanil yellow using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer were 434 nm with an absorbance value of 0.267. In the variation of the catalyst mass, the optimum mass obtained at 0.1 grams of TiO₂ catalyst with %D obtained was 35,58 %. In this study, the presence of hydroxyl radicals produced during photosynthesis plays an important role in degrading metanil yellow.

Abstract

Titanium dioxide is an important type of material that has been widely researched by experts. TiO2 can be used as a catalyst and in various other applications because it has unique electronic and optical properties. TiO2 compounds have been synthesized using various synthesis methods. The aim of this review is to summarize various types of TiO2 synthesis methods, morphology and crystallization of nanostructured TiO2. The research method used is literature study or literature study. The results of the reviews show that TiO2 can be synthesized by various methods, namely hydrothermal, solvothermal, sol-gel, direct oxidation, chemical vapor deposition, electrodeposition, sonochemistry and microwaves. The crystal structure phase that is often found is the anatase phase.

Abstract

This research discusses the effect of adding MEA additives on the synthesis of CuSnO3 thin films using the dipcoating method. This type of research uses experimental.. Based on UV-DRS analysis, the optimum bandgap data was obtained at 1.8034 eV. The addition of additives greatly influenced the reduction of the bandgap. With FPP, a good resistance of 38.59 Ω was obtained at 6x immersion, with a resistivity of 0.000330 Ωm with a conductivity value of 3030.30 Ω-1m-1. From the resulting data it can be concluded that the thicker the layer, the lower the resistance value, and the lower the resistivity, the better the electrical conductivity.

Abstract

Semiconductors are materials with interesting electrical properties. Copper tin oxide (CuSnO3) is an oxide semiconductor material with a band gap value of 2.0-2.5 eV. The method used is sol-gel method with the addition of monoethanolamine (MEA). Copper (II) nitrate trihydrate and tin (II) chloride dihydrate as precursors and methanol as solvent. The purpose of this research is to see the effect of MEA addition on the electrical properties of CuSnO3. Characterization results using UV-DRS showed the band gap of CuSnO3 obtained with the addition of 1.5 mL of MEA was 1.71 eV and without the addition of MEA was 2.36 eV. The addition of MEA can reduce the band gap value. Electrical conductivity will be better with the smaller band gap value.

Abstract

Research on the degradation of methyl orange dye using the photolysis method using a copper tin oxide (CuSnO3) catalyst has been carried out. The aim of this research is to see how catalyst activity influences variations in methyl orange degradation time, whether the addition of MEA (Monoethanolamine) is more effective for photocatalyst applications. In this research, a concentration of 10 ppm of methyl orange was used, 40 mL of which was degraded with a CuSnO3 catalyst of 0.05 grams. This degradation process involves treatments including CuSnO3 catalyst without MEA; 1 mL, 1.5 mL, and 2 mL MEA. The characterization used in this research is UV – VIS. The analysis results showed that the percentage of degradation without MEA at a time variation of 240 minutes was 64.43%, while at 1 mL it was 19.77%, 1.5 mL 16.92%, and 2 mL 20.91%.

Abstract

Solar cell technology is a technology that can create electrical energy using semiconductor devices that have p-n connections. Copper tin oxide CuSnO3 (CSO) is an amorphous oxide semiconductor with a band gap of 2.0–2.5 eV. The method used is sol gel with the addition of one of the commonly used additives, namely Monoethanolamine (MEA). This research aims to determine the effect of monoethanolamine additives on the crystal structure of Copper Tin Oxide using the Sol Gel method. This research is quantitative research by collecting data from previous research and then conducting research using specified methods and objects. The results of research using XRD showed particle sizes ranging from 40.10 – 50.02 nm and the results obtained without additives were 21.06 nm. This is because the addition of additives greatly influences the crystal size and crystal Structure.
