Abstract

Jarak tanam yang terbaik dijumpai pada 80 cm x 40 cm.ABSTRACThis research aims was to study growth and yield sweet corn on intercropping system with peanut and spacing. The research applied a randomized complete design factorial 2 x 3 with four replicates, there were two factors are studies, the first intercropping (not intercropping and with intercropping), and the second crop spacing (60cm x 40 cm, 70 cm x 40 cm, and 80 cm x 40 cm). The result showed the interaction did not significantly affect beetwen intercrop and spacing to all patameters (plant height and diameter of bottom stem,15, 30, and 45 days after plant, sweet corn ear diameters without cornhusk, ear lenght without cornhusk, and sweet corn fresh stover weight). Intercropping was are significant affect on sweet corn ear lenght without cornhusk, and sweet corn fresh stover weight, however not significant affect on plant height and diameter of bottom stem,15, 30, and 45 days after plant, and sweet corn ear diameters without cornhusk. The best sweet corn ear lenght without cornhusk, and sweet corn fresh stover weight was with intercropping. Crop spacing was are significant affect on sweet corn ear lenght without cornhusk, however not significant affect on plant height and diameter of bottom stem,15, 30, and 45 days after plant, sweet corn ear diameters without cornhusk, and sweet corn fresh stover weight. The best sweet corn ear lenght was 80 cm x 40 cm crop spacing. 80 cm x 40 cm is the best crop spacing. Keywords : sweet corn, intercropping n crop spacing

Abstract

This community service activity (PPM) is carried out to increase public awareness of the importance of milk for fulfilling nutrition in realizing health, and the purpose of consuming milk, including soy milk, especially for school children at the elementary level. Soy milk is a healthy drink, rich in protein and fiber and natural, made from soybeans with a high protein content. This activity was carried out at SD Negri Pertiwi Lambarot, Want Jaya District, Aceh Besar District with a target number of 100 participants who are the board of teachers and students of Pertiwi Elementary School with participants aged 9-60 years. The presentation of this community activity was carried out by a lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Iskandar Muda, using lecture methods and demonstrations on the production of soy milk. The steps for this activity are: preparing target locations, counseling materials and participants directly practicing the technique of making soy milk as a healthy drink. The results of the observations showed that Pertiwi Lambarot elementary school students preferred cow's milk for consumption rather than soy milk, soy milk was consumed more by adults. Keywords : elementary school students, soybean milk, and manufacturing techniques

Abstract

The Krueng Raya River plays a strategic role in supporting the livelihoods of surrounding communities, both as an environmental resource and as a foundation for local economic activities. However, the river’s use remains limited and not managed optimally, resulting in underdeveloped economic potential and minimal impact on community welfare. At the same time, increasing pressure on the river ecosystem from human activities and land-use changes could reduce ecological functions and heighten environmental vulnerability. This community service program aims to optimize the potential of the Krueng Raya River to strengthen local economic development while enhancing environmental resilience. The approach involves identifying river-based economic opportunities, providing community education and assistance, and promoting environmentally friendly practices for using river resources. The expected outcomes of this program include improved community capacity for sustainable river management, the development of local economic activities based on river resources, and the preservation of the Krueng Raya River’s ecological functions as part of a long-term effort to strengthen environmental resilience.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide farmers with an understanding of the benefits and principles of using liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) to increase potato productivity and maintain soil fertility, improve farmers’ skills in making and applying LOF independently by utilizing local organic materials, and encourage the adoption of environmentally friendly technology in potato cultivation systems in the highlands of Aceh Tengah. Socialisation and Training were carried out in Jagong Jeget District, Central Aceh Regency, from July 8 to 10, 2025. The potato cultivation land belongs to a local farmer group (selected together with field agricultural extension workers). The results of the Community Service activity include increased farmer knowledge, improved practical skills in making LOF, greater adoption of technology, and greater environmental awareness. This socialisation activity successfully expanded potato farmers’ knowledge, skills, and understanding of LOF. The participatory and demonstrative methods used in the activity have proven effective in transferring appropriate technology to the farming community.
