Abstract

Kata penghubung formal merupakan bagian dari analisis sebuah wacana yang berfungsimenghubungkan kalimat dan kalimat juga klausa dan klausa. Hubungan tersebut jugadikenal sebagai keterpaduan yang menunjukan satu kesatuan makna antar konteks dan isidari suatu wacana. Dalam hal ini, terdapat dua pendekatan yang digunakan untukmengetahui seberapa jauh kesesuaian dan kelogisan dari suatu wacana agar maknadapat tersampaikan dengan baik, yaitu pendekatan grammatikal dan pendekatanleksikon. Dalam sebuah pidato presiden Barak Obama yang di sampaikan di UniversitasIndonesia pada tanggal 9November 2010, terdapat kata penghubung formal yangdianalisis melalui teori dari Guy Cook (1989). Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaituuntuk mengidentifikasi kata penghubung sebagai pendekatan grammatikal dan leksikonyang terdapat pada pidato “Pulang Kampung Nih”. Sehingga dari penelitian ini dapatdiketahui adanya kesesuaian dan kelogisan konteks dan isi dari pidato presiden agarmakna yang ingin disampaikan oleh pembicara dapat tersampaikan dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Asta Brata leadership values ​​by Elementary School Principals in Buleleng Regency, Bali. Asta Brata, derived from Hindu philosophy, emphasizes eight guiding principles that are in harmony with nature to create effective leadership practices. Using a qualitative case study approach, this study investigated the values ​​upheld by school leaders through interviews with thirteen Principals from two educational clusters. Key findings revealed four main themes: Professional Ethics, Responsibility, Harmony, and Example. In particular, Professional Ethics emerged as the most widely practiced value, emphasizing fairness and accountability in leadership. These insights underscore the relevance of local cultural values ​​in shaping effective school leadership, contributing to improved educational outcomes and fostering community support for school initiatives.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach to understand the condition of students' reading and writing literacy at SD Negeri 3 Kalianget and the impact of the interventions carried out. Reading and writing literacy is becoming increasingly vital in the era of globalization and digitalization. This research evaluates the effectiveness of interventions at SD Negeri 3 Kalianget to improve student literacy. By empowering libraries and open spaces, this effort aims to increase students' interest in reading, literacy skills and learning behavior. Data from observations, interviews and documentation were analyzed qualitatively. Challenges such as resources and teacher training were also identified. It is hoped that consistent support and implementation will improve students' literacy holistically, preparing them for a complex future.
