Abstract

This research aims to find out how learning motivation and discipline influence student learning achievement in science learning content at SD Negeri 1 Tigawasa. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The design used in this research is a survey research design. The population of this research is all students at SD Negeri 1 Tigawasa, totaling 156 students. The sampling method used in this research was purposive sampling. The subjects of this research were students in grades IV, V and VI at SD Negeri 1 Tigawasa, totaling 76 students. This research was conducted by distributing linker-sized questionnaires. This research uses causal quantitative data, namely data that can be calculated or data in the form of numbers. The analysis technique in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with data processing using SPSS. The results of the coefficient of determination test with an R2 value of 0.705, this proves that learning motivation and discipline influence student learning achievement by 70.5% and 29.5% are influenced by other variables. Based on the t-test, the results of the first hypothesis have a probability value of 0.000 < 0.05, proving that learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement, while the second hypothesis has a probability value of 0.004 < 0.05 so that discipline has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement, and for The third hypothesis has a probability value of 0.000 > 0.05, this proves that learning motivation and discipline have a positive and significant effect on learning achievement. Future researchers are advised to develop the research model by adding intervening or moderating variables to create a more complex research model and provide more comprehensive results.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran dapat mengatasi masalah ketika peserta didik kurang minat dalam pembelajaan namun terjadi permasalahan peserta didik mengalami kejenuhan sehingga kurang minat dalam pembelajaran IPAS. Hal ini dikarenakan guru yang belum bisa membuat media pembelajaran yang cocok dengan karakteristik peserta didik dan karakteristik mata pelajaran IPAS. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan rancang bangun, untuk mendeksripsikan validitas isi , untuk mendeskripsikan respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap kepraktisan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) dengan model penelitian pengembangan 4D yaitu: define, design, develop dan disseminate. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan pendekatan kuatitatif. Subyek dari penelitian ini yaitu dua orang ahli isi, dua orang ahli media, satu orang guru, tiga perserta didik dalam uji coba perorangan dan sembilan peserta didik dalam uji kelompok kecil.  Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu penyebaran angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa (1) menghasilkan produk berupa video pembelajaran berbasis pemecahan masalah pada materi rantai makanan, (2) memperoleh validitas yang sangat tinggi dengan skor sebesar 0,93 dari uji ahli isi dan 0,96 dari uji ahli media, (3) Respon guru terhadap kepraktisan memperoleh skor sebesar 98,33% dengan kualifikasi sangat praktis dan, (4) respon peserta didik terhadap kepraktisan memperoleh skor sebesar 86,23% dari uji perorangan dan skor sebasar 96,96% dari uji kelompok kecil dengan kualifikasi sangat praktis. Dapat disimpulkan video pembelajaran berbasis pemecahan masalah valid dan praktis untuk digunakan sehingga layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu dinas pendidikan, sekolah, guru dan peserta didik dapat menggunakan media ini dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Asta Brata leadership values ​​by Elementary School Principals in Buleleng Regency, Bali. Asta Brata, derived from Hindu philosophy, emphasizes eight guiding principles that are in harmony with nature to create effective leadership practices. Using a qualitative case study approach, this study investigated the values ​​upheld by school leaders through interviews with thirteen Principals from two educational clusters. Key findings revealed four main themes: Professional Ethics, Responsibility, Harmony, and Example. In particular, Professional Ethics emerged as the most widely practiced value, emphasizing fairness and accountability in leadership. These insights underscore the relevance of local cultural values ​​in shaping effective school leadership, contributing to improved educational outcomes and fostering community support for school initiatives.

Abstract

Evaluating student affairs programs remains a persistent challenge in many developing-country education systems, where strong policy intentions often collide with limited resources. This study examines the effectiveness of a student management program at SMP Negeri 1 Kuta Utara using the Context–Input–Process–Product (CIPP) evaluation model, with particular attention to how resource constraints shape overall program performance. Employing an evaluative quantitative design, data were collected from 104 purposively selected stakeholders through questionnaires, structured observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using the Glickman Quadrant. The evaluation reveals a (+ - + +) pattern, indicating that while the program is overall effective and feasible to continue, its effectiveness is structurally constrained by a negative input component. Specifically, inadequate operational funding, insufficient supporting facilities, and an imbalance between the number of student supervisors and students limit program scalability and long-term sustainability. Despite these constraints, positive context alignment, disciplined and well-coordinated implementation processes, and favorable product outcomes such as improved student discipline, enhanced non-academic achievement, and strengthened character development demonstrate the program’s resilience. The study contributes empirical evidence that process quality can partially compensate for weak inputs, but not without risk to sustainability. Practically, the findings recommend targeted investment in student affairs resources, supervisor capacity building, and facility enhancement to prevent erosion of program gains. Theoretically, this study underscores the diagnostic value of the CIPP Glickman integration for identifying hidden structural weaknesses in otherwise “effective” educational programs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the underlying causes of low readiness among Grade XII culinary students at SMK Negeri 1 Sukasada in undertaking PKL. Employing a qualitative exploratory design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving students, teachers, school leaders, and industry partners. The study identifies a complex interplay of internal, institutional, and industry-related factors that collectively shape student readiness. Internal factors include fluctuating motivation, uneven technical competence, low self-confidence, and limited mental resilience. Institutional factors encompass gaps in PKL preparation, misalignment between curriculum and industry standards, insufficient intensity of practice-based learning, and limited mentoring mechanisms. Meanwhile, industry-related factors involve communication discontinuities, divergent expectations regarding work discipline and productivity, minimal pre-placement orientation, and highly demanding workplace cultures. Rather than operating independently, these factors interact dynamically, producing a cumulative effect that constrains students’ adaptive capacity and professional preparedness. The findings argue for a reconceptualization of PKL readiness not merely as an individual competency issue, but as a systemic alignment problem between vocational institutions and industry ecosystems. The study calls for structured co-design of curriculum and training modules with industry partners, the integration of resilience-building and workplace simulation into pre-PKL preparation, and the institutionalization of continuous feedback loops between schools and host industries. Such measures are crucial to strengthening vocational graduates’ transition from school to work and enhancing the overall effectiveness of PKL programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran  Discovery Learning berbasis Mind mapping dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimen, pola The Posttest- Only Control Desain pada dua kelas yang dipilih sebagai sampel melalui teknik random sampling dari total populasi 168 siswa kelas XI Bidang Keahlian Teknologi Konstruksi dan Bangunan SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar Tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan melalui tes dan motivasi berprestasi diukur dengan angket. Analisis data dilakukan dengan anakova satu jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbasis Mind Mapping berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris baik sebelum kovariabel motivasi berprestasi dikendalikan (Fhitung = 9,772; p= 0,003) maupun setelah kovariabel motivasi berprestasi dikendalikan (Fhitung sebesar 4,440; p= 0,0390).  Rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen (83,25) lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol (73,61). Motivasi berprestasi juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,374 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,140 yang berarti 14% variasi perubahan hasil belajar dapat dijelaskan oleh motivasi berprestasi siswa. Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa Discovery Learning berbasis Mind Mapping efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris dan layak diitegrasikan dalam praktik pembelajaran
