Abstract

Opinion is one of the most important parts in decision making, in processing opinions require a thorough analysis process. Especially text-based opinion, where opinion in the form of opinions do not have a definite value limit for the input. Sentiment Analysis as a branch of knowledge from Text mining can be applied in the opinion analysis process in the form of text. Where opinions will be classified into 3 types of opinions, namely positive opinions, neutral opinions and negative opinions. This study grouped opinions from university graduated students using the SVM and NBC algorithms which in this study were divided into 3 main components, namely the input component, opinion grouping system, and output components.Opinion to be processed is data in the form of a * .csv format opinion file, which then conducts a grouping of opinions. Then the system produces output in the form of 3 types of opinions, namely, positive opinions, neutral opinions and negative opinions. In general, the accuracy results show the differences in the accuracy of each sentiment. From the test results generally shows the accuracy with the highest accuracy value in the NBC algorithm reaching 94.45 while the highest accuracy rate in the SVM algorithm reaches 75.76%.

Abstract

PDAM in carrying out operational activities is greatly influenced by the receivables or arrears of customer water bills. Some factors that influence customer patterns in delinquent water bills are customer class and consumption of water usage, which affects the water bill paid by the customer. This study will apply the K-Medoids clustering method to find out customers who are delinquent in the PDAM by optimizing the selection of cluster centers using the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm. In this study the combination of ACO and K-Medoids methods is called ACOMedoids. The results with the ACOMedoids method can produce a high level of accuracy from the comparison of clustering data with actual bill data. This can be seen from the results of accuracy which is always better than the K-Medoids method, which is the highest achieves 97.65% accuracy for ACOMedoids while K-Medoids is 88.29%. Accuracy results show that the ACO algorithm can produce optimal cluster center points in the clustering process of the K-Medoids method.

Abstract

In this paper, the authors propose the design of a new orthogonal small set Kasami code sequence generated using combination of non-orthogonal m-sequence and small set Kasami code sequence. The authors demonstrate that the proposed code sequence has comparable auto-correlation function (ACF), cross- correlation function (CCF), peak cross-correlation values with that of the existing orthogonal small set Kasami code sequence. Though the proposed code sequence has less code sequence sets than that of the existing orthogonal small set Kasami code sequence, the proposed code sequence possesses one more numbers of members in each code sequence set. The members of the same code set of the proposed code sequence are orthogonal to each other.

Abstract

One of the facilities provided by cellular phones is to send data in the form of short messages via Short Message Service (SMS). Most people use SMS services more often than phone services because they are cheap and easy to use. Open networks, easy access, standard platform and open source development bring security threats such as viruses, phishing, spam on SMS. Security information in SMS can be done by encrypting messages to be sent. The AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm is a standard for data encryption, suitable for scenarios where memory and processing capabilities are very limited as in mobile devices. Encryption for text data types can also use the Blowfish algorithm, where the Blowfish algorithm can perform encryption and decryption with better performance compared to other symmetric algorithms if packet data size changes. Research designing systems that can be utilized by users who want to send a confidential information to someone via SMS without fear of information from the message will be known by others. The method used by the system in encrypt and decrypt the message is AES method and Blowfish Cipher which implementation using java programming language on Android.

Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan bermotor mengakibatkan terjadinya penumpukan kendaraan terutama di persimpangan-persimpangan yang terdapat traffic light. Untuk itu perlu dibuatkan suatu sistem yang disebut Smart Traffic Light, sehingga dapat memberikan prioritas pada jalur yang dilalui oleh kendaraan-kendaraan kegawatdaruratan. Ada dua tahapan utama dalam perancangan smart traffic light ini yaitu integrasi hardware berupa integrasi RFID dengan Aruino UNO dan algoritma Smart Traffic Light sebagai dasar dalam pembuatan software. Realisasi pada hardware dilakukan dengan penggunaan RFID module Mifare RC522 dan mikrokontroller Arduino UNO. Realisasi Software menggunakan aplikasi Arduino dengan menambah library RFID dan membuat perintah sesuai dengan algoritma. Hasil integrasi hardware dan realisasi algoritma ke dalam sebuah software memperoleh hasil tingkat deteksi dan akurasi deteksi dari RFID yang sangat tinggi yakni mencapai 100%, dengan waktu respon yang baik yaitu rata-rata 0,8s.

Abstract

Musik erat kaitannya dengan psikologi manusia, kenyataan ini mengindikasikan bahwa musik dapat terkait dengan emosi dan mood/ suasana hati tertentu pada manusia. Setiap musik yang telah tercipta memiliki mood tersendiri yang terpancar, maka dari itu telah banyak penelitian dalam bidang Music Information Retrieval (MIR) yang telah dilakukan untuk pengenalan mood terhadap musik. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah perangkat lunak untuk mengelompokan musik terhadap suasana hati dengan menggunakan algoritma K-Nearest Neighbor. Sistem menerima masukan data berupa file musik format mono *.wav, yang selanjutnya melakukan proses pengelompokan terhadap musik dengan mengggunakan klasifikasi K-NN. Sistem menghasilkan keluaran berupa label jenis mood yaitu, contentment/ kepuasan, exuberance/ gembira, depression/ depresi dan anxious/ cemas; kalut. Secara umum hasil akurasi sistem dengan menggunakan algoritma klasifikasi K-NN cukup baik yaitu 86,55% pada nilai k = 3, serta waktu pemrosesan klasifikasi rata-rata 0,01021 detik per-file musik.DOI: 10.24843/MITE.1601.03

Abstract

Balinese gamelan angklung instrumental music through its sound waves can interfere the waves of human’s thought to decrease brain’s wave frequency. The aim is to affect the psychological condition in term of mood so it will lead to positive stress level with either low or high energy. Music with positive stress level and low energy level is categorized as contentment. Positive stress level music and high energy level is categorized as exuberance. MIR (Music Information Retrieval) is a part of Data Mining which digging information about music’s data. One of them is the mood’s classification which is interpreted by chunks of music data. This research designs and builds the classification system to detect the Balinese gamelan angklung instrumental music’s mood using K-NN algorithm and K-NN based Genetic Algorithm. K-NN is able to overcome the classification problem well. However, behind its excellence, the very sensitive k value setting becomes a weakness. Applying Genetic Algorithm on the K-NN classification system optimizes the optimal k value’s determination. Based on the same training and testing data set, K-NN gives 81,08% (k=6) as the highest accuracy percentage, while K-NN based Genetic Algorithm gives 89,19% (k=4) as the highest accuracy percentage.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini, unjuk kerja kode hybrid orthogonal small set dengan panjang 16 chip dievaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa auto-correlation function (ACF) and  cross-correlation function (CCF) kode hybrid hampir sama dengan  kode existing orthogonal small set Kasami. Kode existing orthogonal small set Kasami memiliki unjuk kerja BER (bit error rate) sedikit lebih baik dari pada kode hybrid orthogonal small set pada kondisi kanal Rayleigh frequency selective fading  dalam sistem synchronous CDMA. Namun, kode hybrid orthogonal small set memiliki jumlah kode lebih banyak dalam chip set, karenanya dapat menampung lebih banyak user pada suatu  base station. Sehingga, kode hybrid orthogonal small set lebih tepat untuk diterapkan dalam sistem synchronous  CDMA.  DOI: 10.24843/MITE.1501.04

Abstract

AndroidisaLinux-basedoperatingsystemandis open source that can be developed independently so that more applications can be made. This application can also be integrated with other devices to control or control system is desirable. Media remote control or wireless (LAN) is a growing need for human behavior that want to move faster and farther range of location of residence. This research will be designed and built a prototype system controlling lights at home using Arduino microcontroller connected to mobile devices based on Android. Light control is done on a mobile device that is connected to the control system via WiFi Router lights. Wifi Router has sufficient coverage so that the owners of these devices can move more comfortably without having to control the lights via a switch on the wall of the house. The house lights controller circuit can adjust the lights ON and OFF as well as the Bright and Dim the lamp 1 and lamp 2. Lighting Control Application on mobile android devices already can set the lights on the control circuit.

Abstract

Abstract— The development of cellular telecommunication provides users to experience fast and stable transmission. This standard of transmission is proportional to the needs of the devices and systems used. We are currently in the fourth generation (4G) of cellular technology. The key technologies used in 4G are Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) which uses the concept of orthogonality for bandwidth efficiency and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) which uses the concept of diversity to improve performance. But in implementation this system will have problems with the transmission channel. The problem that occurs is signal attenuation due to Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO). This CFO will cause the orthogonal character built from the OFDM system to experience a decline in performance. The decline in performance is due to the occurrence of Intercarrier Interference (ICI). To overcome this problem, the method used in this simulation are Improved Sinc Power Pulse (ISP) and Rectangular Pulse (REC). The results showed that ISP had a relatively better BER value than REC and without using the pulse shaping method. The minimum BER value obtained from the simulation is ISP with a value of 0.0001 while REC produces a value of 0.0006 and without pulse shaping produces a BER value of 0.0038.
