Abstract

Abstract: A change is a social dynamic that is unavoidable. The social change has a profound influence on Islamic education in its various aspects. This implies that the Islamic education as a social institution must be dynamic and open to changes according locus differences and socio-cultural development of the times. Therefore, although historically Islam has demonstrated its educational dynamic in response to social change, but a lot of the stereotypes that still cling to the typical of Islamic institutional education until now, such as the narrowness of the curriculum, lack of professional educators, and science dichotomy. From here, as a social institution is supposed Islamic education is able to clean itself, which in turn is able to mobilize social change through education that can be viewed through the philosophy of Islamic education Kata Kunci: Dinamika Sosial, dan Perspektif Pendidikan Islam

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the academic stress of final students in the current Covid-19 pandemic era. The research design used a quantitative descriptive survey of 113 students from various universities in Indonesia, including undergraduate (bachelor), master, and doctoral education levels. The research instrument used an academic stress scale developed by the researcher, which consisted of twelve question items. The distribution of the tool was carried out using google forms. The results showed that several factors caused student academic stress. There are cost factors (difficulty paying tuition fees / UKT and demands to return the scholarship), study conditions (difficulty consulting with supervisors/promoters and unable to find references in the library), and personal problems (conflicts with friends or with a partner and less comfortable boarding/house conditions). Student academic stress is the highest experienced by doctoral students compared to undergraduate and master's level students. Online counselling is recommended to help students experiencing academic stress to complete their studies on time.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak merupakan sesuatu yang urgen untuk diperhatikan.Karena anak terlahir dengan memiliki potensi yang perlu untuk ditumbuhkembangkan.Selain itu anak merupakan bagian terpenting dari seluruh prosespertumbuhan manusia. Berkualitas atau tidaknya ia dimasa dewasa sangatdipengaruhi oleh proses pengasuhan dan pendidikan yang diterima di masakanak-kanaknya. Oleh karena itu pendidikan anak berarti perencanaanperadaban dan kemajuan bangsa. Sehingga tanpa pendidikan anaksesungguhnya tidak akan pernah ada peradaban dan kemajuan bangsa.Al-Ghazali memiliki konsep pendidikan anak yang holistik yaitumencakup aspek spiritual, moral, sosial, kognitif dan fisik. Tujuanpendidikannya pun tidak terbatas pada taqorrub ila Allah tapi jugapengembangan potensi jasmani dan rohani. Hal itu karena Al-Ghazalimemandang anak sebagai pribadi yang dilahirkan dengan potensi-potensinyadan mempunyai kecenderungan fitrah ke arah baik dan buruk sehingga sangatmemerlukan pendidikan. Adapun materi pendidikan anak yang ditetapkan Al-Ghazali adalah berdasarkan aspek-aspek pendidikan yang dirumuskannya.Sedangkan metode pendidikan yang ditetapkannya adalah bervariasi dantentunya hal itu disesuaikan dengan periodisasi anak.Adapun implikasinya terhadap Pendidikan Agama Islam adalahhendaknya pendidikan selalu disesuaikan dengan tahap-tahap perkembanganpeserta didik seperti perkembangan kognitif dan moralnya. Karena pendidikanmerupakan proses sinergis antara pendidik, peserta didik, metode dan materidalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan Islam.Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Anak, Pendidikan Agama Islam

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan berbagai dampak bidang kehidupan manusia salah satunya berpengaruh pada kesehatan mental manusia. Mahasiswa yang sementera menempuh pendidikan di perguruan tinggi mengalami ganguan mental. Stress, cemas dan depresi dialami mereka. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan kesehatan mental mereka. Artikel ini mengkaji konsep gangguan mental; faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi; dan cara mengembangkan kesehatan mental di era pendemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of religiosity on the psychological well-being of school counselors. The majority of counsellors report experiencing mental health issues such work-related stress, exhaustion, anxiety, and emotional disturbances like impatience and irritation while doing their jobs. The counselor's mental condition is an indication of their poor mental health. Methodologically, this investigation was a quantitative study employing a correlational approach. Statistical regression analysis was used to examine the collected data. The research sample was school counsellors in South Sulawesi, totalling 103 counsellors for SMP/MTs, and SMA/SMK/MA. The research instrument used the Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS) and the Psychological Well-being Scale. The results showed that there was an influence of religiosity on the psychological well-being of school counsellors. The limitation of this study is that the respondents are public school counsellors and not private school counsellors. Therefore, further research can use a sample of private school counsellors and examine other variables in improving the psychological well-being of counsellors.

Abstract

The ability to recognize and effectively communicate emotions, referred to as emotional literacy, is crucial for interpersonal success and psychological health. This study aimed to enhance the emotional literacy of adolescents in junior high school through the application of role-playing techniques within guidance and counseling services. Employing a quantitative methodology, this research adopted a pretest-posttest experimental design to evaluate the effectiveness of these interventions. A total of eight respondents participated in the study. The emotional literacy scale served as the primary instrument for measuring changes in emotional literacy levels. Data were analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The findings revealed that role-playing significantly improved the emotional literacy of the participants. These results have important implications for school counselors, suggesting that incorporating role-playing techniques into counseling sessions can be an effective strategy for fostering emotional development among students. This research underscores the potential of targeted educational interventions in enhancing emotional literacy, which can contribute to better emotional management and healthier adolescent development.

Abstract

Social change is any change in social institutions in a society, which affects its social system, including values, attitudes, and behavioral patterns among groups in society. Social changes have a huge influence on Islamic education in various aspects. This has particular implications that Islamic education as a social institution must be dynamic and open to various changes according to differences in socio-cultural loci and developments over time. Therefore, although historically Islamic education has shown its dynamism in responding to social change, many stereotypes are still attached to typical Islamic education institutions to this day, such as the narrowness of the curriculum, lack of professionalism of teaching staff, and scientific dichotomy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the internalization of religious moderation principles in Islamic boarding school education of Tahfizul Qur’an in South Sulawesi in four districts as research objects, namely Makassar City, Maros, Gowa, and Jeneponto regencies. This study used a phenomenological approach with data collection methods using interviews and Focus Group Discussion. The data were analyzed inductively by presenting meaning, uniqueness, and phenomena. The results of this study indicated that religious moderation in Islamic boarding school education of Tahfizul Qur’an in South-Sulawesi was internalized in two aspects. First, the aspect of the learning process included the formulation of tahfiz material based on the convenience principle starting from memorizing chapter 30 based on curriculum using level, quality, and time. In addition, religious moderation was also internalized in the tahfiz method and evaluation. Second, Islamic boarding schools' mentoring process included giving attention, exemplary, habituation, reward, punishment, controlling, and monitoring. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan internalisasi prinsip moderasi beragama dalam pendidikan pesantren Tahfizul Qur’an di Sulawesi Selatan di empat kabupaten sebagai objek penelitian, yaitu Kabupaten Kota Makassar, Maros, Gowa, dan Jeneponto. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan Focus Group Discussion. Data dianalisis secara induktif dengan menyajikan makna, keunikan, dan fenomena. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa moderasi beragama dalam pendidikan pondok pesantren Tahfizul Qur’an di Sulawesi Selatan terinternalisasi dalam dua aspek. Pertama, aspek proses pembelajaran meliputi perumusan materi tahfiz berdasarkan asas kemudahan mulai dari hafalan bab 30 berdasarkan kurikulum dengan menggunakan tingkatan, kualitas, dan waktu. Selain itu, moderasi beragama juga diinternalisasikan dalam metode dan evaluasi tahfiz. Kedua, proses pendampingan pondok pesantren meliputi pemberian perhatian, keteladanan, pembiasaan, penghargaan, hukuman, pengendalian, dan pengawasan.
