Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the effect of pedagogic competence and work environment on the performance of elementary school teachers at the Kuantan Singingi District. Methodology in  This study uses a quantitative approachwith a path analysis model. The participants of this study were 103 elementary teachers in Kuantan Singingi District, Singingi Hilir District.  The research instrument was a closed questionnaire on the google form application. The questionnaire used a five-point Likert scale. Hypothesis testing is obtained from the t-test and F-test. The results show that there were several conclusions, namely: 1) pedagogical competence has a positive and significant effect on elementary school teachers performance in Singingi Hilir District, the increasing of pedagogical competence of the teachers could improve their performance, 2) The working environment has a positive and significant impact on the performance of teachers in the District Elementary School  Singingi Hilir, where a good work environment would improve teacher performance. 3) pedagogical competence and work environment affected the performance of public elementary school teachers  Singingi Hilir District with a coefficient of determination or R-Square of 0.301 or  30.1%, meaning that pedagogical competence and work environment have an influenced on  performance of 30.1%.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find that authentic leadership and work environment influence partially and simultaneously on the performance of teacher at  Junior High School in Bekasi. This study using a  descriptive quantitative approach regression models. The population in this study was 306 teachers, and the sample was taken using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5% so that there were 75 teachers. The instrument used was a questionnaire distributed via Google Form based on the Likert scale. At the same time, hypothesis testing is obtained based on the results of the t-test, F test and the coefficient of determination test. The results prove that there are several conclusions, namely: (1) authentic leadership has a positive effect on the performance of Junior High School teachers; (2) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Junior High School teachers; (3) Authentic leadership and work environment simultaneously influence the performance of Junior High School teachers with the results of the test value of the coefficient of determination of 0.673 or 67.3%, meaning that authentic leadership and work environment have an influence on performance by 67.3% and the rest 32.7% is influenced by variables not studied.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of organizational communication and job involvement on teacher work satisfaction. This research was conducted at Vocational high School in West Cikarang sub-district through survey method with analysis of path analysis data. The sample of this study is 104 Teachers with civil servant status. The results showed that there are: 1) organizational communication Direct influence on job satisfaction; 2) job involvement Direct influence on job satisfaction; and 3) organizational communication Direct influence on job involvement. Thus, teacher job satisfaction is influenced by organizational communication and job involvement. This research recommends to the principal of Vocational high School in West Cikarang sub-district to apply good organizational communication in their environment and to fulfill the expectation for Vocational high School teachers to get job satisfaction well then teacher work involvement in school environment should be better. Abstract

This research was conducted in Junior high school NSQ Cirebon West Java, which aims to know and to obtain an overview of leadership character education for student. This research was conducted in June to October 2017. The approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection was done through an interview, observation, and study documentation. A source of data from this research comes from principal's and supports several informants is teacher, and student. Teamwork formed by the principal's consist of teachers, committee and parents. The planning of leadership character building of students in Junior high school NSQ is done through the mechanism of work meeting at the beginning of the school year. Organizing the guidance of student leadership character in Junior high school NSQ is done by making organizational structure that contains the roles and responsibilities in carrying out the guidance of student leadership character. The implementation of leadership character building of students in Junior high school NSQ is done through intra-school students organization program, Scouting and Basic Training of Student Leadership. The supervision of the leadership character building of the students in Junior high school NSQ is done directly by the principal and the board of the Foundation.
