Abstract

Field Work Practice is a mandatory program that must be implemented for the delivery of vocational level education or Vocational High Schools. The purpose of this study was to get a more in-depth quality of the context of Fieldwork Practices in the Computer and Network Engineering major at SMK Negeri 3 Oku. This is intended to make understanding of the context clearer. The research method used descriptive qualitative research. The data collection method used interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, discussion, and drawing conclusions. The findings concluded that the context aspect for legality is in accordance with the standard rules for implementing Fieldwork Practices from the government as set forth in the rules and procedures for issuing Fieldwork Practices. Whereas aspects of the characteristics of schools implementing Fieldwork Practices are adjusted to operational standards set by schools and industry. In the context aspects of the needs of the industrial has also been built in accordance with an agreement from the industry. The results of this study also recommend that SMK Negeri 3 Oku continue to increase the amount of collaboration with industry and increase the competence of students and supervisors.

Abstract

Health communication is needed by the Indonesian people. Islamic education greatly facilitates all forms of health for humanity. This study uses a new media object that is the national media Twitter which contains health information in 2019. The research problem formulation is how to frame health communication in Islamic religious education in new media? The purpose of this study was to determine the health communication framing in Islamic religious education in new media. Health communication is the art of informing influencing and motivating individuals, institutions and society about important matters in the health sector in improving the quality of life and health of individuals in society. The results of the study, the dimensions of informing, influencing, motivating individuals, and society through multilevel Twitter results. In the personal health information unit, this information is very often shared by the cyber media. However, if it is associated with the healthy behavior of new media users, it is seen to have followed. In public health information units such as sneezing and littering: this information is often shared by new media. Cybermedia users are very following.

Abstract

This study analysed the implementation of the Indonesian Qualification Framework based vocational curriculum in the three years program of an electronics engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The analysis was focused on lecturers and students’ views. This evaluation used the model of Context, Input, Process, Product by involving 49 students in the 3rd  semester, 6 lecturers, and administration staff. The findings showed that the implemented learning activities using the new curriculum paradigm are reliable. The context analysis indicated the correlation between lecturers’ competence and qualification and the goals of the study program. The input analysis showed that the lecturer's assignment was appropriate and correspond with lecturers’ subject and education background. The process analysis revealed that the learning process was in accordance with the lectures’ planning. In addition, the practicum activities were reportedly consistent with the academic calendar. The product analysis, in the form of courses distribution each semester, suggested that the needs for improvement to fit the new curriculum paradigm design.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to systematically review empirical evidence about how necessary blended learning for vocational education, the blended learning implementation in vocational schools, and the blended learning impact in vocational schools. It analyzed 32 studies concerning blended learning implementation and impact in vocational schools, published in the last five years. Employing the meta-analysis review method, the data were extracted and analyzed by descriptive analysis and concluded in the form of a percentage. This study’s results stated that blended learning could be used as a vocational education system solution by adjusting technological advances. The highest implementation was in the design and management dimensions of blended learning at 39%; It was considered the most important in adopting blended learning in vocational schools. Besides, the study of the highest impact was the increase in students' abilities and knowledge in the form of test scores, which was 42% higher than behavior and motivation’s impact. Therefore, it is necessary for future research to develop blended learning in vocational schools by paying attention to the students’ behavior and motivation impact.

Abstract

Karang Bahagia Subdistrict, Bekasi Regency, West Java Province which enforces PSBB. Based on Bekasi Regent Regulation No. 37 of 2020 concerning the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in handling the corona virus disease in Bekasi Regency, applies to all elements of activity. In Article 6 Bekasi Regent Regulation No. 37 of 2020, it is also explained that the process of implementing learning in schools is carried out at home or where students live through distance learning. Many teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Karang Bahagia, Bekasi Regency, do not understand how to make learning media that can be used for distance learning. The face-to-face learning method that has been done so far must be changed into a digital format that displays text, audio and visual so that the subject matter can be delivered optimally. Therefore, assistance and training are needed for teachers in making teaching videos with software commonly used in presenting online video broadcasts, namely Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). based on the results of the pre-test and post-test given to 144 training participants, 59 % of participants' knowledge increased related to video-making techniques. participants' knowledge increases regarding video-making techniques.

Abstract

Wireless ad-hoc mesh network is a special kind of network, where all of the nodes move in time. Node is intended to help relaying packets of neighboring nodes using multi-hop routing mechanism in order to solve problem of dead communication. Wireless mesh network which engages broadcasting and contains multiple hops become increasingly vulnerable to problems such as routing problem and rapid increasing of overhead packets. During this progress, the delay on account of multi hop characteristics and redundant packets caused by communication nature potentially existed during communication. Typically, delay will increase in linearity with number of hops. There is a certain minimum level of delay that will be experienced due to the time it takes to transmit a packet through a link. Topology development holds a significant point prior to the data transmission. Without improved topology development protocol, this problem can decrease network’s performance in overall data transmission. We analyze the delay performance of a multi-hop wireless network with a dynamic route between each source and final destination pair. There are fluctuate interference constraints on the set of links that impose a fundamental delay performance of any instant network topology. At first, we present a similar Link State Routing network simulation to derive such referential lower bounds. We conduct extensive simulation studies to suggest that the average delay of multi-hop transmission policy can be made lower compared to the referential bound by using appropriate functions of network metrics. This paper provides a broadcast framework that engages various network metrics and at the same time maintaining connectivity of nodes (mobile terminals). The framework captures the essential features of the wireless network metrics, i.e. bandwidth, throughput, network buffer, direction, and round trip time. This research is useful since, in many cases, it find that the throughput is the most important parameter in reduction of delay transmission. This result is confirmed with another composite simulation result. Most of network hop delay is impacted with this composite metric, particularly in delay minimization on the longer hops. The reduction achievement on average delay by this algorithm is 0.577% and the total average delay reduction for this simulated network is 0.683%. This research will be further designed primarily for achieving maximum throughput in the multiple wireless network area. Keywords: multi-hop; delay; connectivity; metrics

Abstract

Web usability, if evaluation done correctly, can significantly improve the quality of the website. Website containing multimedia for education shoud apply user interfaces that are both easy to learn and easy to use. Multimedia has big role in changing the mindset of a person in learning. Using multimedia, learners get easy to obtain information, adjust information and empower information. Therefore, multimedia is utilized by teachers in developing learning techniques to improve student learning outcomes. For students with self-directed learning, multimedia provides the ease and completeness of the courses in such a way that students can complete the learning independently both at school and at home without the guidance of teachers. The learning independence takes place in how students choose, absorb information, and follow the evaluation quickly and efficiently. The 2013 Curriculum 2013 for Vocational High School (SMK) requires teachers to create engaging teaching and learning activities that students enjoy in the classroom (also called invitation learning environment). The creation of learning activity environment is still problem for most teachers. Various researches reveal that teaching and learning activities will be more effective and easy when assisted by visual tools. Using multimedia, learning material can be presented more attractively that help students understand the material easily. The opposite is found in the learning activity environment who only rely on ordinary lectures. Usability is a quality level of multimedia with easy to learn, easy to use and encourages users to use it. The website Multimedia Interactive Learning for Mathematics SMK Class X is targeted object. Usability website in Multimedia Interactive Learning for Mathematics SMK Class X is important indicators to measure effectiveness, efficiency, and student satisfaction to access the functionality of website. This usability measurement should be done carefully before the design is implemented thoroughly. The only way to get test with high quality results is to start testing at the beginning of the design process and continuously testing each of the next steps. This research performs usability testing on of website by using WAMMI criterion (Website Analysis and Measurement Inventory) and will be focused on how convenience using the website application. Components of Attractiveness, Controllability, Efficiency, Helpfulness, and Learnability are applied. The website in Multimedia Interactive Learning for Mathematics SMK Class X can be in accordance with the purpose to be accepted by student to improve student learning outcomes. The results show that WAMMI method show the usability value of Multimedia Mathematics SMK Class X is about from 70% to 90%.Keywords: web; usability; WAMMI criteria; mathematics; self learning

Abstract

Urgensi pengembangan website BKK yang di uji di SMK Perguruan Cikini Jakarta ini sangatlah penting. Dalam era digital ini, website yang efektif dan responsif merupakan sarana yang sangat diperlukan untuk menyediakan informasi yang akurat, terkini, dan mudah diakses. Dengan memiliki website yang berkualitas, BKK SMK Perguruan Cikini Jakarta dapat memberikan layanan yang lebih baik kepada alumni dan membantu mereka dalam mempersiapkan diri untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Selain itu, dengan fitur-fitur yang inovatif, website ini dapat menjadi pusat informasi yang berguna bagi alumni dalam mengikuti perkembangan tren dan peluang karir di masa depan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu scrum dengan tahapan product backlog, sprint planning, sprint backlog, daily scrum, increment, sprint review dan sprint retrospective. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini berupa sistem informasi berbasis web untuk BKK SMK Perguruan Cikini dengan fitur login alumni, perusahaan dan dunia industri yang didukung dengan berbagai elemen penunjang kemampuan alumni untuk mempersiapkan diri dalam dunia industri.
