Abstract

This development research aims to develop microprocessor learning media using Zilog Z80. The Learning Media quality is based on the following aspects: (1) media feasibility according to subject matter experts and media experts; (2) effective based on students ability test by pre test and post-test. The developed cycles and procedures refer to the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). This development research produces learning media as microprocessor kits training and e-Learning namely “µProsessor” as learning support. Data analysis techniques to test the effectiveness of learning media using Paired Samples T-Test and Using a Likert scale to test the feasibility of learning media. The research results show that the feasibility of learning media is enough with a high score of above 88% and Paired Samples Test results for media effectiveness show an increase in the value of significant microprocessor capabilities. Measuring the improvement of the ability of students' microprocessors using N-gain (normalized gain). The results of the calculation of N-gain in the large group is 0.72 in the high category. Interpretation of the results of the research can be concluded that effective learning media as a learning media for microprocessors.

Abstract

Network security was an access prevention measure taken by the network administrator to limit things that were not permitted and were dangerous to threaten the local network. This was done to keep the network working correctly, and there was no threat from anywhere. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of wireless access point roaming networks with 802.1x security systems in increasing Internet access. The sample number in the study was 40 respondents, with details of 20 respondents from lecturers and 20 respondents from employees at university. The sampling technique was stratified random sampling by classifying the population into two strata. This study's data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The method used was a mixed-method approach. The subjective test results show that the user interface of the Test ver1.0 hotspot could provide the best experience for users. The effectiveness of an Access Point roaming wireless network with an 802.1x security system as measured on the satisfaction aspect gets an average System Usability Scale score of 81.38, meaning that it could meet the satisfaction aspect and was accepted for use by users.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the strategy of implementing a limited face-to-face learning policy in junior high school during the covid-19 pandemic. The study used qualitative method. This research was conducted at a State Junior High School in Merauke, Papua Province. Participants consisted of 30 people consisting of principals, teachers, and school committees. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documents. Data analysis techniques consist of 1) data collection, 2) data Reduction, 3) data display, and 4) conclusion. The validity of the data were credibility, transferability, dependability, and objectivity (confirmability). The finding shows that there were two main strategy which implemented in limited face-to-face learning policy in the school. It used to make the concepts of communication, the readiness of human resources, and the development of cooperative attitudes. The strategies were standard operational procedures and fragmentation. School made the rule for limited learning process. Standard Operational Procedures that are used as internal school demands to implement policies uniformly in junior high schools. Fragmentation is designed as a form of division of responsibility for implementing limited face-to-face learning policies. It is carried out by taking into account the nature of the policy to be implemented, and the distribution of responsibilities to all policy implementers. The strategy provided the concept of face-to-face learning is limited to meeting the needs of children's growth and development towards educational needs so learning activities must refer to the principles of health, safety, and children's rights.

Abstract

The problems of classroom interaction among teachers and students arise in conditions of academic demands that assume the practice of teachers' social competence in class. This paper aims to study the effect of teachers' emotional intelligence, classroom management, and school organization climate on interaction behavior among teachers and students in SPK High School. A survey method with path analysis was applied to test the hypothesis and conduct interviews among 105 teachers and students by proportional random sampling technique. Upon this research, the conclusion is obtained. (1) A teacher's emotional intelligence, class management, and school organization climate positively affect teacher and student interaction behavior. (2) A teacher's emotional intelligence has a positive direct effect on school organization climate. Class management has a positive direct effect on the school organization climate. (3) A teacher's emotional intelligence has a positive direct effect on class management. (4) A teacher's emotional intelligence positively affects teacher and student interaction behavior through the school organization climate. (5) Class management positively impacts teacher and student interaction behavior through the school organization climate. The conclusion is that the teacher and student interaction behavior is affected by the teacher's emotional intelligence, class management, and school organization climate

Abstract

Science learning involves several abstract and complex concepts. To explain these abstract and complex concepts, learning strategies and supporting instructional media are needed. The presence of digital technology has become one alternative in science learning. The use of digital technology in science learning provides valuable opportunities to enhance the quality of learning, expand accessibility, and enrich students' experiences in understanding natural sciences. This study is a literature review of 200 research articles in the Google Scholar database from 2019 to 2022. The research findings show that the most commonly used digital technology in science learning is instructional videos. Digital technology enables easier access to various learning resources, such as videos, simulations, interactive software, and online resources. Students can easily access learning materials with the assistance of technology.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the world's perception of Diploma 3 graduates regarding work skills. The research used a questionnaire survey method on Diploma 3 graduates who had worked for 2-5 years. Measurement of work aspects includes individual qualities, basic skills, interpersonal skills, thinking skills, resource management, systems and technology, and information skills. The instrument's validity in each aspect ranges from 0.416 to 0.683, with a reliability of 0.882. The research technique used simple random sampling with 109 respondents in this study. The results of the study stated that the self-perception of graduates are (1) an individual quality score of 85.5 with a very high interpretation; (2) basic skills get a score of 81.8 with a high interpretation; (3) an interpersonal score of 84.8 with a very high interpretation; (4) thinking skills get a score of 83.1 with a very high interpretation; (5) resource management obtained a score of 88.6 with a very high interpretation; (6) systems and technology got a score of 92.4 with a very high interpretation, and (7) information skills got a score of 85.1 with a very high interpretation. Thus, the average worldwide employment of Diploma 3 graduates is 85.9, with a high interpretation. This finding implies that the higher graduates' employability skills, the higher their self-perception at work.

Abstract

The research aims to develop learning media based on Virtual Reality for the Product Management subject at SMKN 14 Jakarta. The study uses research and development methods (Research & Development) using the combined procedure reference development model between the Borg and Gall models, the Dick Carey Model), and the Hannafin and Peck Models. This model is carried out through needs analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance. The results of this study are as follows. (In summary, the research went through several key stages: 1) The analysis stage highlighted the limitations of practical facilities for the Limited Product Arrangement subject. 2) The design phase resulted in a comprehensive design, including Virtual Reality illustrations with 3D display designs, color selection, typography, page layouts, images, videos, audio, and interface designs. 3) During the development of Virtual Reality products, the researcher processed the content into a medium using the Unity Engine application. 4) The testing phase, which included material and media testing, produced highly favorable results. Material experts rated content quality and objectives at 4.8 in the "very feasible" category, while media experts found functional suitability very doable with a percentage score of 4.67. Usability testing yielded a score of 4.7, indicating good usability. Performance efficiency met standards and effectively engaged students' learning interest. Overall, these findings demonstrate the success of the research in developing Virtual Reality-based learning materials for the Product Arrangement subject.
