Abstract

The aim is to objectively and systematically determine the effectiveness of environmentally based student worksheets (LKPD) in terms of social studies learning outcomes for Yakhalusti Middle School students. This research used Quasy experimental design with a two group posttest only design. The population in this research were students from Yakhalusti Pontianak Middle School with the research sample determined using Cluster Random Sampling, namely class VII A with 25 students and VIIB with 25 students. Data collection techniques use observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique uses T-Te Pair Samples by fulfilling the prerequisite tests, namely Normality and Homogeneity Tests. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that: 1) The learning outcomes of the control class obtained an average score of 68 which is within the sufficient criteria; 2) the learning outcomes of experimental class students using environment-based LKPD obtained an average score of 77 which is within the Good criteria. 3) the t table value, then compare it with the calculated t value (7.320 > 2.073). Because the calculated t value is greater than the t table, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an average difference between the learning outcomes of the control class and the experimental class, which means that there is also the effectiveness of environmentally based LKPD on students' social studies learning outcomes.

Specifically, researchers want to know the planning, implementation and evaluation of environmental education as an Adiwiyata program in schools. The research method used is a qualitative method in the form of descriptive research. The type of data used in this research is data obtained directly from the main source of information by the researcher coming directly to the research location, namely SDN 34 Pontianak City. Data sources are school principals, teachers and students. The analysis technique in this research is interactive with data validation in the form of Source and Technique Triangulation. The research results illustrate that the implementation of the Adiwiyata Policy in an effort to realize Environmental Education in Elementary Schools can be seen through the Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of Environmental Education activities at SD N 34 Pontianak City. Abstract

Geography education plays a crucial role in the learning process as it enables students to investigate environmental events and issues, fostering a deeper understanding of the environment. To achieve this, Environmental Literacy (EL) skills are essential, allowing students to comprehend and respond to environmental challenges effectively. Therefore, this study aims to assess the environmental literacy levels of Geography Education students across three key components: Cognitive, Affective, and Behavioral. This research employs a survey method with a quantitative approach. The study population consists of Geography Education students at PGRI Pontianak University. The sampling technique used is Total Sampling, encompassing all students from the 2023, 2022, and 2021 cohorts, totaling 110 students. The research instrument includes a questionnaire to assess the Affective and Behavioral components, comprising a series of statements measured using a Likert Scale. Meanwhile, a multiple-choice test is used to evaluate the Cognitive component. The data analysis is conducted quantitatively by calculating the percentage of sub-indicators for the three Environmental Literacy components. Interval Class analysis is then applied to determine the corresponding criteria. The results of the study indicate that the average score obtained by students in the cognitive aspect is 82.2, which falls within the Good category. The affective aspect yielded an average score of 95.87, categorized as Very Good. Meanwhile, the average score for environmental literacy in the behavioral aspect is 87.83, also classified as Very Good.
