Abstract

The role of parents and teachers is very important in shaping the character of students, especially nationalism character. Teachers have the task of instilling nationalism character in the learning process. This research used qualitative methods with descriptive form. The research subjects consisted of history teachers, and students. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation with the data collection tools are in the form of observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that: (1) history teachers instill the character of nationalism in students by having students take part in flag ceremonies, using Indonesian language properly and correctly, and participate in singing national or mandatory songs. (2) The method of implementing strategies used by history teachers to su pport their strategy forms can be in the form of making lesson plans (RPP), using learning media, and through discussions. and (3) the obstacles encountered by history teachers in carrying out their forms of strategy can be from the use of the learning media used, the differences in character of each student, and the allocation of time. So, it can be concluded that the things that history teachers have done in learning can foster nationalist character in students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore how the Tanjungpura Ketapang King's Tomb Site can be used as a source of history learning for class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Pawan. Research using a qualitative descriptive method approach. Data was obtained through interviews with history teachers, class Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and document analysis. Data analysis uses an interactive approach, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is guaranteed through triangulation of sources and techniques. Research findings include: (1) Although the material about the Tanjungpura Ketapang King's Tomb Site has not been officially included in the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), it has been applied in history learning by linking it with historical material about Islamic Kingdoms in Indonesia, (2) The site The Tomb of the King of Tanjungpura Ketapang is used as a learning resource by teachers because it provides a rich educational experience by involving students in making direct visits to the site. (3) Several obstacles faced in this research include limited time during the learning process, especially when visiting the site. The Tomb of the King of Tanjungpura, and problems from students because some of them were less responsive when participating in the learning process, especially visiting the site.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal West Kalimantan local history material to students in learning history at Senior High School 8 Pontianak. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. Data sources in this research include interviews with history teachers and class X students at SHS 8 Pontianak as well as teaching modules. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The stages of data analysis include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. Data validity techniques use source triangulation and technical triangulation. The research results show: 1. There are four stages of planning for the delivery of West Kalimantan local history material which includes the implementation urgency stage, design, material selection, adjustments to teaching modules, and schedule adjustments. 2. Application of delivery of local history material and its evaluation. 3. Obstacles encountered in implementing the delivery of local history material in West Kalimantan, such as local historical sources that are difficult to obtain and the location of historical sites that are far from schools or where students live.

Abstract

This study investigates student perceptions of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program within the History Education Study Program at FKIP Tanjungpura University. Using a qualitative case study, the research gathered data through observation, interviews, and document analysis from the MBKM head, lecturers, and History Education students who had participated or were currently participating in the program. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and verification. The findings reveal that the History Education program has implemented six MBKM initiatives since 2022: agency internships, MSIB, PMM, the Merdeka Entrepreneurial Program, Teaching Assistance, and Teaching Campus, with implementation involving registration, document collection, and graduation announcements. Student perceptions were mixed, with some expressing joy at gaining firsthand work experience, while others felt confusion and faced difficulties with procedures, placement, and work program design. Ultimately, students gained valuable direct field experience through the MBKM program
