Such miscommunication mas arise from the misinterpretation that the conservation attempt of the opium house as a heritage bulding is counterproductive to the illegal drug eradication program. The two seemingly contradictory sides are the history conservation activist and the people who support the illegal drug eradication. This paper uses an inductive reasonong that commences from the discussion of any data available then draws a general conclusion. The acquired data is then analyzed and interpreted to be concluded into a proposed solution model of an archaeological conservation ploicy to prevent from a possible miscommunication that will lead to a conflict.

Abstract

Hospitalization is a cause of stress for children and their families. However, the level of stressors related to illness and hospitalization differs according to individual children. One child considers it normal while the other child considers it a stressor. The aim of the research is to identify the level of children's anxiety regarding the impact of hospitalization at the Pematang Siantar Army Hospital . The level of children's anxiety is influenced by the seriousness of the child's illness, the presence of invasive actions on the child, hospital environmental factors, and the length of the child's treatment. This research uses a descriptive method. Sample (Hidayat, 2007, p. 32). In this study, there were 30 people who were considered to meet the sample criteria or who were considered representative. The research results showed that the majority of children experienced moderate and severe anxiety, namely 10 people (33.3%) and the minority of children experienced mild anxiety, namely 3 people (10%).

Abstract

Background: The rising prevalence of diabetes mellitus globally necessitates the exploration of alternative treatment options. Phaleria macrocarpa, known for its traditional use in the treatment of various ailments, has garnered interest as a potential adjunctive therapy for diabetes. Objective: This review synthesizes current research on the efficacy and safety of Phaleria macrocarpa in the management of diabetes, outlining its therapeutic potential, pharmacological mechanisms, and future research directions. Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted, encompassing studies that investigated the effects of Phaleria macrocarpa on diabetes-related parameters in preclinical and clinical settings. Results: The collected data suggest that Phaleria macrocarpa may improve blood glucose control and insulin sensitivity. Several studies indicate a positive effect on metabolic parameters in diabetes. However, the safety profile warrants further investigation, as does the standardization of dosages. Conclusions: While preliminary findings show promise for the integration of Phaleria macrocarpa into diabetes care, extensive clinical trials are required to confirm efficacy and establish safety. Moreover, a better understanding of the plant's bioactive compounds, their mechanisms of action, and potential interactions with standard diabetes treatments is essential. The cultural importance of Phaleria macrocarpa supports its continued investigation, recognizing the need to respect and integrate traditional knowledge with contemporary medical practices.

Abstract

Bronchial asthma is a chronic inflammatory respiratory disease due to increased sensitivity of the airways to various stimuli. Bronchial asthma is not only a public health problem in developed countries, but also occurs in developing countries (WHO, 2016). Anxiety is a vague feeling of worry due to discomfort or fear accompanied by an autonomic response (the source is often unspecific or unknown to the individual), a feeling of worry caused by the anticipation of danger. Anxiety is a sign of increased alertness to impending danger and allows individuals to take action to face the threat (Doenges, 2015). The prevalence of anxiety disorders ranges from 6-7% of the general population (females are more prevalent than males) (Stuart, 2006). Lecturers and students from the Nursing and Nursing Study Program at Imelda University, Medan, chose to hold health education activities with the aim of helping as well as training both individuals and families regarding deep breathing exercises. This makes them aware and more diligent in practicing their breathing. The health education carried out in the courtyard of the sub-district office in Tanjung Mulia downstream began with holding talk activities and continued with outdoor counseling activities. This health education activity is of great interest to families in the community and it is hoped that it can be used as a lesson and make individuals and families more aware of the importance of deep breathing exercises to reduce anxiety in people with asthma.
