Abstract

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a new version of the coronavirus that was discovered at the end of 2019. Most of the disorders experienced by individuals infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience respiratory disease and most of them recover without requiring special treatment. Indonesia is currently hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Various policies in prevention efforts have been carried out by the government, which have an impact many aspects of society. In Pekanbaru specially needs a lot of information related to Covid 19. Through Community Service in Simpang Tiga Village, Bukit Raya District, they can provide aid of information or other social aid which is a synergy of students and academics during the Covid 19 Pandemic, of course by following health protocol procedures. The results of this service are expected to assist the government and society as an effort to break the chain of spreading covid-19.

Abstract

Masyarakat di Desa Gunung Malelo sebagai salah satu Desa dengan potensi wisata tinggi, harus mampu bergerak dalam peningkatan menuju kampung wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dan menganalisis mengenai strategi pemerintah dalam pengembangan potensi kampung wisata Desa Gunung Malelo Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian analisis deskriptif. Sumber data diambil dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan buku-buku terkait. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori 4P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion). Hasil penelitian ini adalah Desa Gunung Malelo memiliki delapan unggulan wisata (Product), seperti wisata religi, wahana air, wahana keluarga dan juga kuliner. Price (harga) wisata Gunung Malelo adalah wisata yang ramah lingkungan, mudah, murah dan nyaman. Place dalam strategi pemerintah terhadap peningkatan potensi perkembangan lokasi wisata Desa Gunung Malelo adalah dengan mengadakan sarana dan prasarana guna kemajuan wisata dalam pembenahan dan juga membangun solidaritas. Dan strategi (promotion) yang dilakukan oleh Desa Gunung Malelo dalam promosi menggunakan media cetak dan media sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan koordinasi pemerintah daerah PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP) dalam mengimplementasikan program school improvement di Kabupaten Pelalawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan mengurai data secara deskriptif. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori tentang Koordinasi dalam proses manajemen menurut Soewarno Handayaningrat yang terdiri dari Komunikasi, Kesadaran Pentingnya Koordinasi, Kompetensi Partisipan, Kesepakatan Komitmen dan Insentif, dan Kontinutas Perencanaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa koordinasi yang terbangun dalam pelaksanaan program school improvement antara Pemerintah Daerah, PT RAPP (swasta) dan Dinas Pendidikan dalam bidang pendidikan sudah baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari jalinan komunikasi antara ketiga aktor dalam kerjasama tersebut berjalan harmonis dan berlangsung secara dua arah. Dan kerjasama tersebut sudah dituangkan dalam Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Abstract

In 2020, one of the regencies in Riau, Siak, was the second-largest forest and land fire disaster area, which occurred by acute intercourse inspection (ISPA) patients, and reached 4321 suspected. The subject of this research was in Dayun District, Siak Regency, as a pioneering area to develop ecotourism based on disaster mitigation. The disaster mitigation system is an effort to minimize the impact caused by disasters caused by forest and land fires. Effective disaster mitigation has three main elements, namely hazard assessment, warning, and preparation. Ecotourism is a specific tourism activity that deliberates the environmental area and complies with the balance and preservation of nature principles. Ecotourism-based disaster mitigation efforts using the Penta helix model approach, namely strengthening synergy and collaboration of various related parties. The research was descriptive and qualitative by collecting the interview data by data triangulation techniques in describing the information authenticity. The results of this work showed that ecotourism-based disaster mitigation is conducted by utilizing a large and artificial pond called “embung”, as a rainwater reservoir, and also a natural public tourism facility. The government issues this policy by cooperating with Universities and companies through Corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. Keywords: Disaster, Ecotourism, Mitigation, Forest, Synergy

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengkaji minat baca di perpustakaan umum daerah. Perpustakaan merupakan tempat untuk melayani kebutuhan informasi dan bahan bacaan bagi masyarakat dalam rangka meningkatkan dan menambah kecerdasan serta pengetahuan umum masyarakat. Peran perpustakaan sangatlah penting bagi ibukota Provinsi seperti Kota Pekanbaru. Diperlupan upaya khusus untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan kunjungan ke perpustakaan yang berada di Kota Pekanbaru. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. pendekatan deskriptif kualtiataif dalam rangka menggali bagaimana peran dina perpustakaan dan keardipan kota Pekanbaru untuk meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian dapat digambarkan bahwa dinas perpustakaan dan kearsipan telah melakukan beberapa hal untuk meningkatkan minat baca antara lain : menjamin penyelenggaraan dan pengembangan perpustakaan daerah, menjamin ketersesiaan layanan perpusatakaan secara merata, menjamin kelangsungan penyelenggaraan dan pengelolaan perpustakaan sebagai pusat sumber belajar masyarakat, menggalangkan promosi gemar membaca dan memanfaatkan perpustakaan, memfasilitasi penyelenggaraan perpustakaan daerah dan mengembangkan  perpustakaan umum daerah berdasarkan keabsahan, meningkatkan mutu pelayanan perpustakaan kelililing, mempromosikan budaya membaca dengan iklan layanan masyarakat.

Abstract

The era of the Digital Revolution 4.0 needs to be addressed with appropriate learning so that students have superior competencies in the field of education. This must be responded quickly and accurately by all stakeholders in education in order to be able to increase the competitiveness of the Indonesian nation in the midst of increasingly competitive competition. The process of information technology management level through the Cobit 5 Framework shows that educational institutions in Riau Province are still in level 2, namely the managed process level. We need a solution to accelerate technology, especially online learning, which is a necessity in various educational institutions. SMAN 8 Pekanbaru has implemented online learning with the measured readiness of managed process technology. The model used is the seamless learning model which is a method that provides an effective learning environment, contains the concepts of continuity and continuity in the learning process that occurs without time and space limits. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to implement online learning at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru in the form of workshops for teachers in schools using the Cobit 5 Framework. The results of this activity show significant changes, especially in the enrichment of online learning learning models. The survey results from the satisfaction of teachers showed a score of 98% strongly agree with the benefits resulting from this community service activity.

Abstract

This community service was carried out at the inclusive school X in Pekanbaru involving all Children with Special Needs. Children with Special Needs or commonly called ABK is a term for children who have physical, mental, social, or emotional conditions that are different from children in general. The use of the "Smart Learning" method which is optimized for children with special needs in inclusive schools is urgently needed to facilitate learning. This service involves collaboration between research teams, inclusive teachers, and principal to design, develop, and test the effectiveness of adaptive learning models that use information and communication technology (ICT). This "Smart Learning" method is specifically adapted to facilitate an inclusive learning process, taking into account the learning needs and preferences of each student. The method is carried out with the stages of observation, implementation and evaluation by presenting pre and post test surveys to find out the effectiveness of learning. The results of the post test show that the application of "Smart Learning" to children with special needs in inclusive schools can increase their active participation, motivate and increase their academic achievement

Abstract

Digital Leadership or digital leadership plays an important role in changing the traditional paradigm of higher education into an adaptive and innovative institution. This service is carried out at the Faculty of PSIKOSOSPOL, Abdurrab University by involving the dean, head of study program and lecturers who are expected to be able to successfully implement digital leadership. Digital leadership plays a crucial role in influencing the use of digital technology, building a culture of innovation, and creating an environment that encourages collaboration and creativity so as to improve the quality of Higher Education. The method was carried out by conducting a mini seminar in the Fakultas Psikologi dan Ilmu sosial dan Politik (FPSIKOSOSPOL) environment at Abdurrab University and at the end of the seminar a digital leadership understanding questionnaire was distributed. Questionnaires were distributed to describe understanding during the pre and post tests. The implications of this service can be an inspiration and enhance the digitall awareness for higher education institutions in facing the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital era to achieve competitive advantage, increasing quality and produce graduates who are ready to face the rapidly changing industrial world.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai efektivitas pengawasan peredaran rokok ilegal pada kantor wilayah direktorat jendral bea Cukai Provinsi Riau Tahun 2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Teori dalam penelitian ini adalah teori pengawasan yakni pengawasan langsung dan pengawasan tidak langsung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa pengawasan peredaran rokok ilegal pada kantor wilayah direktorat jendral bea Cukai Provinsi Riau Tahun 2020 sudah berjalan efektif baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Secara langsung pengawasan dilakukan dengan operasi pasar dalam memantau peredaran rokok ilegal dengan program “Gempur Rokok Ilegal” serta sosialisasi terhadap pengusaha dan penjual rokok serta bekerja sama menggandeng TNI dan Polri. Kemudian untuk pengawasan tidak langsung adalah dalam bentuk laporan tertulis secara terstruktur, kemudian Bea Cukai Riau mengelompokkan objek pengawasan distribusi dan pengawasan pemasaran untuk mengantisipasi penyelundupan barang kena cukai temasuk memantau peredaran rokok ilegal di Riau.
