Abstract

Pada artikel ini, kami membahas tentang model predator prey dengan fungsi respon holling tipe II, perlindungan pada prey dan pemanenan pada kedua populasi. Hal ini diasumsikan bahwa laju pertumbuhan prey lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan laju pemanenan. Model ini ditemukan ada tiga titik equilibrium yaitu  dan . Simulasi numerik ditunjukkan tidak hanya untuk memperlihatkan titik equilibriumnya tetapi juga untuk melihat efek eksploitasi pada populasi prey. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah jika populasi prey di ekploitasi secara besar-besaran akan menyebabkan kepunahan pada populasi prey.Kata Kunci: eksploitasi, populasi, pemanenan dan perlindungan.

Abstract

Pada artikel ini, metode level set diterapkan pada masalah pergerakan kurva berdasarkan hyperbolic mean curvature flow. Simulasi yang dilakukan meliputi masalah hyperbolic mean curvature flow dan hyperbolic mean curvature flow dengan kendala. Realisasi pergerakan kurva pada kedua permasalahan masing-masing menggunakan algoritma Hyperbolic MBO (HMBO) dan algoritma HMBO yang telah dimodifikasi untuk masalah dengan kendala. Kurva initial pada kedua permasalahan berupa lingkaran. Hasil simulasi yang ditampilkan berupa plot level set nol dan plot tiga dimensi. Hasil pergerakan kurva pada kedua permasalahan menunjukkan bahwa kurva semakin menyusut. Untuk masalah hyperbolic mean curvature flow, kurva akan menyusut dan menghilang. Sedangkan pada masalah hyperbolic mean curvature flow dengan kendala, kurva akan menyusut dan berhenti bergerak setelah menyentuh kurva kendala.

Abstract

The Predator-Prey model is an interesting study because it involves an ecosystem of two species that can provide benefits to human life. The purpose of this study was to determine the stability at the equilibrium points of the predator-prey model and the response function of Michaelis Menten and harvesting. This research method is a literature collection method that begins with the construction of the model, finds the equilibrium points, gets stability at the equilibrium points, then confirms the analytical result using numerical simulations. The predator-prey model with harvest assumptions and Michaelis Menten’s response function gets three equilibrium points, namely E_1, E_2, and E_3. E_1 and E_2 are asymptotically stable under certain conditions, while E_3 is unstable.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada guru agar dapat membuat soal interaktif dengan menggunakan beberapa aplikasi yang telah dipilih oleh tim pengabdian. Beberapa aplikasi yang menjadi rekomendasi, yaitu mentimeter, kahoot, microsoft office power point, dan formula tarsia. Adapun metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian ini yaitu melalui tutorial pembuatan soal interaktif sekaligus peserta pengabdian diminta mempraktikkan secara langsung pada laptopnya masing-masing. Dengan berbagai manfaat dari penggunaan media interaktif tersebut, guru diharapkan cakap dalam menggunakan dan menguasai teknologi yang menunjang pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Soal Kuis Interaktif

Abstract

Partners in this community service activity are FMIPA Universitas Negeri Malang students who need insight into entrepreneurship. The problem with this service partner is that the financial source is only from the parents, while the parents' economic conditions (student guardians) are in the lower middle class, while the needs of students are also increasing. So that students can continue to continue their studies and be able to innovate and develop their potential, additional funds are needed. One way is to start entrepreneurship. Based on the partner's problems, the Dedication Team of the Mathematics Department of FMIPA Universitas Negeri Malang provided a solution, namely by providing training regarding the entrepreneurial mindset for FMIPA students with several kinds of material such as: why students should be entrepreneurs, finding personal branding and digital marketing. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate optimal strategies in dynamic models of smoking. The smoking dynamic model is divided into 3 subpopulations including potential smokers (non-smokers), active smokers who smoke daily, and people who have quit smoking permanently. There are five variables of the smoking dynamic model control strategy, including education related to the dangers of smoking for health, vaccination, tobacco taxation, treatment, and rehabilitation. In solving optimization problems, this study uses the Maximum Pontryagin Principle method. Furthermore, the 4th-order runge kutta method was used to implement numerical solutions and Matlab Software to simulate a control model of smoking dynamics. Based on the simulation results, it can be seen that the control provided is effective in reducing the number of smokers and increasing the number of people who quit smoking.

Abstract

In 2021, there will be 9 million cases of measles worldwide. Twenty-two countries have large numbers of measles infections. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia or Ministry of Health recorded that there were more than 3,341 cases of measles spread across 223 districts/cities in 31 provinces. The control of measles cases carried out by the Indonesian government has been through vaccination since 2000. The first vaccine is given to children aged nine months, the second vaccine is given to children aged 18 months, and the third dose is in grades 1-6 of elementary school (SD). This research uses the SVEIR mathematical model for the spread of measles with adjustments to government efforts and recommendations from the Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI) to prevent an increase in the spread of measles through preventative vaccination. In this SVEIR model, there are seven classes, namely Susceptible (S), first dose vaccination (V1), second dose vaccination (V2), third dose vaccination (V3), Exposed (E), Infected (I), and Recovered (R). This research aims to analyze the SVEIR model on the spread of measles with three vaccinations, the stability of the equilibrium point, and determine the effect of vaccination in controlling measles. The analysis results show that the endemic equilibrium point is asymptotically unstable, and the non-endemic equilibrium point is asymptotically stable with R_0=0.0736829 <1. This indicates that measles will disappear on the 260th day or around 8.5 months after implementing the vaccination program.

Abstract

  Sabilurrosyad Islamic Middle School is a junior high school in the village of Karangbesuki. The geography school is located on the edge of Malang City and far away from the center of Malang City. Students entering junior high school are big children from local public elementary school graduates. Sabilurrosyad Islamic Middle School is the school that found its students with diverse ability different academics. _ Problems faced _ partner is different competence academic field mathematics in students new Sabilurrosyad Islamic Middle School. Based on the results analysis situation and SWOT analysis, the team devoted the public to the solution by creating and giving application edugames (MATHUIZ-B) that can used by schools. For participants assigned to educate new order capabilities, cognitive students can be uniform with standard junior high school level. The method of this community activity begins with preparation, making the Mathuiz-B application, outreach to teachers and principals of Sabilurrosyad Middle School, and Submission of the application so that service partners can use it. On activities devotion public, team devotion will provide an application manual book and a book regarding successful strategies for learning mathematics for entering junior high school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi konstruksi model SEAIQR dalam konteks penyebaran virus COVID-19 yang melibatkan vaksinasi, serta untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas pemberian vaksinasi dalam mengendalikan penyebaran virus. Model SEAIQR menggambarkan kompartemen Susceptible (S), Exposed (E), Asymptomatic (A), Infectious (I), Quarantined (Q), dan Recovered (R) yang merupakan representasi dinamika populasi terhadap infeksi dan intervensi vaksinasi. Metode penelitian melibatkan analisis matematis dan simulasi komputer untuk memodelkan interaksi antara individu dalam populasi serta penyebaran virus COVID-19. Konstruksi model SEAIQR melibatkan parameter-parameter yang menggambarkan laju penularan, tingkat vaksinasi, periode inkubasi, dan transisi antar kompartemen. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa dengan tingkat vaksinasi yang cukup tinggi dan cakupan populasi yang luas, penyebaran virus dapat ditekan secara signifikan. Selain itu, analisis sensitivitas parameter-parameter model mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kunci yang memengaruhi efektivitas vaksinasi dalam mengurangi jumlah kasus baru dan memperlambat laju penularan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang dinamika penyebaran virus COVID-19 dalam konteks vaksinasi, serta memberikan dasar teoritis untuk perencanaan dan implementasi kebijakan vaksinasi yang efektif dalam mengendalikan pandemi. Temuan ini dapat digunakan sebagai landasan untuk pengembangan model-model prediktif dan strategi intervensi lebih lanjut dalam penanggulangan COVID-19 dan pandemi-pandemi masa depan.

Abstract

The activity focuses on fostering independence and personal development among inmates at the Women's Correctional Facility Class IIa Malang through entrepreneurial skills training. This training will equip inmates with basic entrepreneurial skills, including identifying business opportunities, business planning, marketing strategies, and managing small business operations. Additionally, it teaches practical techniques for starting and running sustainable businesses. The entrepreneurial training is conducted through interactive discussions and the presentation of best practices over two days. It involves 50 selected inmates based on their interest in entrepreneurship and nearing release dates. Data analysis is carried out using a qualitative descriptive method. The training results show that the food and beverage sector is the primary choice among participants, with 60% interested in starting businesses in this field. Participants are also deemed to have acquired the skills to identify market opportunities, design effective business plans, and implement operational and marketing strategies. This training is expected to have a significant positive impact on the inmates, helping them build a better future and reducing the risk of recidivism.
