Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to find out the effect of Problem Solving technique and motivation toward students’ writing skills in STKIP Adzkia. This research was based on the problems which were occurred in the writing class. The students at STKIP Adzkia did not sufficiently-learn skills on how to make a good paragraph, how to get many ideas when they start their writings and how to arrange their ideas systematically. This research was a quasi-experimental research with factorial design 2x2. The instruments that were used for this research were writing test and motivation questionnaire. T-test analysis and two ways ANOVA analysis were used in analyzing the data. The result of this research revealed that: (1) Students who were taught by Problem Solving Technique were better than students who were taught by brainstorming technique toward students’ writing skill; (2) Students who had high motivation and were taught by Problem Solving Technique were better than who thought by Brainstorming technique; (3) Students who had low motivation and were taught by Problem Solving Technique were better than who were thought by Brainstorming technique; (4) There was no interaction between technique and motivation toward students’ writing skill. The Findings had been proven that Problem Solving technique gave significant impact on students’ writing skills. Keywords: Problem Solving technique; motivation; writing skill  Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik Problem Solving dan motivasi terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa di STKIP Adzkia. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada masalah yang terjadi di kelas menulis. Mahasiswa STKIP Adzkia tidak cukup mempelajari keterampilan membuat paragraf yang baik, cara mendapatkan banyak ide saat memulai tulisan dan cara menyusun ide secara sistematis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes menulis dan angket motivasi. Analisis uji-t dan analisis ANOVA dua arah digunakan dalam menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Siswa yang diajar dengan Teknik Problem Solving lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajar dengan teknik brainstorming terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa; (2) Siswa yang memiliki motivasi tinggi dan diajar dengan Teknik Problem Solving lebih baik daripada siswa yang berpikir dengan teknik Brainstorming; (3) Siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah dan diajar dengan Teknik Pemecahan Masalah lebih baik daripada yang berpikir dengan teknik Brainstorming; (4) Tidak ada interaksi antara teknik dan motivasi terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa. Temuan telah membuktikan bahwa teknik Problem Solving memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa. Kata kunci: Teknik Pemecahan Masalah; motivasi; keterampilan menulis

Abstract

Perkembangan zaman yang semakin maju dan masuknya budaya luar berdampak pada memudarnya suatu budaya yang berpengaruh terhadap masalah kebahasaan. Pola pikir masyarakat yang cenderung dinamis mengakibatkan masyarakat kurang berpartisipasi dalam melestarikan bahasa daerahnya masing-masing. Penggunaan bahasa oleh masyarakat penuturnya bermakna dan mengacu pada suatu peristiwa, tindakan, benda dan keadaan. Peristiwa yang terjadi direlisasikan dengan bahasa sebagai perantara penuturnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menemukan istilah-istilah yang sering digunakan dalam keseharian masyarakat melayu asahan dalam bentuk (1) monomorfemis, (2) polimorfemis. untuk melestarikan kearifan lokal dan memaparkan istilah bahasa yang muncul dalam pelestarian bahasa yang digunakan masyarakat melayu asahan dalam kesehariannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan etnolinguistik secara teoretis, dan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif secara metodologis. Data yang dianalisis berupa penggalan tuturan yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan istilah-istilah yang sering digunakan masyarakat melayu asahan untuk melestarikan kearifan lokal masyarakat melayu asahan. Abstract

This activity aims to overcome a problem regarding students' interest in reading at UPTD State Elementary School 014672 Tanjung Alam which is considered still low. This can be identified through the results of the 2022 education report card and also from observations regarding the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS). It is hoped that the literacy movement that has been implemented in schools can help students improve their literacy skills. However, on the contrary, this movement has not been carried out optimally so that literacy skills are still low. Students' literacy skills are low because students' interest in reading is also low. Therefore, teachers in this case should have creativity in accompanying the implementation of school literacy movement activities. One way to increase students' reading comprehension is by implementing a reading challenge method. In this method, students will be invited to go to the reading corner or library to read books they like. The teacher here supervises or monitors students who are reading. Then, 15 minutes before the lesson starts, students report to the teacher the books they have read. For students who read the most, for example in one month, that student is given a reward. Through this activity, it is hoped that students at the school will be able to increase their interest in reading. Keywords: reading challenge method; reading interest; school literacy movement.

Abstract

This study discusses the socialization of drug prevention and impacts for the younger generation, especially students. The main objective of this socialization is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the dangers of drugs, both physically, mentally, socially, and legally, and to encourage students to avoid such risky behavior. The socialization method involves educational activities such as seminars, counseling, and interactive discussions attended by students, teachers, and parents. The results of the study show that consistent and comprehensive socialization is effective in increasing students' awareness of the risks of drugs, as well as strengthening their resilience to reject negative influences. In addition, the involvement of the school and family environment plays a significant role in providing support for students to build a drug-free environment. Thus, drug prevention socialization is an important step in maintaining the health of the younger generation and preparing them as superior human resources.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the values ​​of life in the Best Gift Novel, written by J.S. Khairen and Its Relevance to Literature Learning in High Schools through the study of the sociology of literature. The object of this study is the Best Gift Novel by J.S. Second printing of Khairen, July 2022. The method used iis descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are taken from the  text, contained in the Best Gift Novel by J.S. Khairen. Data are analyzed by reading and note-taking techniques. The results of this study show the values ​​of life in the Best Gift Novel by J.S. Khairen includes social values ​​which include helping each other, friendship, cooperation, caring for others. Moral values ​​that include never giving up, honesty, responsibility, compassion. Religious values ​​that include prayer, gratitude, gratitude, sincere. The study of these values ​​can be integrated into everyday life which can shape the character of students, in case of that the Best Gift Novel by J.S. Khairen can be relevant to Literature Learning in High Schools.

Abstract

Abstract: The problems discussed in this study relate to the value of character education as depicted in the novel Hayya by Helvy Tiana Rosa and Benny Arnas through the Mimetic approach. Through the Mimetic approach, the data contained in Hayya's novel text quotes are collected and then related to the realities of life that have occurred in society. The purpose of this study is to instill the value of character education in students so that it can be applied in learning at school and can be applied in the community. Data were analyzed by reading and note-taking techniques. Data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive method. The results of the discussion of the analysis of moral values and social values in the novel Hayya by Helvy Tiana Rosa and Benny Arnas through the Mimetic Approach are that there are four religious moral values, fourteen quotes about caring for others, while social values in the form of compassion are totaling twenty-three quotes, helping each other which amounted to two quotes, respecting others which amounted to four quotes, hospitality which amounted to two quotes, responsibility which amounted to five quotes. This novel is highly recommended to shape the value of moral and social character education in society, especially students. Keyword: Mimetic approach; character building; Hayya  Abstrak: Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan nilai pendidikan karakter yang tergambar pada novel Hayya Karya Helvy Tiana Rosa dan Benny Arnas melalui pendekatan Mimetik. Melalui pendekatan Mimetik dikumpulkan data-data yang terdapat dalam kutipan teks novel Hayya kemudian dihubungan dengan realitas kehidupan yang pernah terjadi di tengah masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter pada diri siswa sehingga dapat diaplikasikan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dan dapat diterapkan di tengah masyarakat. Data dianalisis dengan teknik membaca dan mencatat. Data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil pembahasan analisis nilai moral dan nilai sosial pada novel Hayya Karya Helvy Tiana Rosa dan Benny Arnas Melalui Pendekatan Mimetik tersebut adalah terdapat nilai moral keagamaan yang berjumlah empat kutipan, rasa peduli terhadap sesama yang berjumlah empat belas kutipan, sedangkan nilai sosial berupa rasa kasih sayang yang berjumlah dua puluh tiga kutipan, tolong-menolong yang berjumlah dua kutipan, menghargai orang lain yang berjumlah empat kutipan, keramahan yang berjumlah dua kutipan, tanggung jawab yang berjumlah lima kutipan. Novel ini sangat di rekomendasikan untuk membentuk nilai pendidikan karakter moral dan sosial dalam masyarakat, khususnya pelajar. Kata kunci: pendekatan Mimetik; pendidikan karakter; Hayya

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the activation of digital technology from the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) VI edition in analyzing the diction in the song Asmalibrasi. The use of this digital dictionary is considered important as a source of information in searching for word meanings according to the Indonesian dictionary online. Then the researcher is also interested in knowing the meaning of the song, as well as what language variations are found in the song. The researcher's interest in this song began with the song's title which is considered unique, with its unusual choice of words but has an element of beauty. This makes the researcher interested in finding out what the words of the song title mean and several other word choices so that they can find the intended meaning. Based on the analysis, it is known that the meaning of the song is telling about a relationship that has found a point of similarity "frequency" or compatibility of all aspects sought to continue a relationship to a serious level. Lowering the ego of each partner is a solution so that a relationship can run smoothly. Meanwhile, the language variations found in the song are a variety of languages, Javanese, and Sanskrit. Keyword: diction and language variety, digital technology, meaning of the asmalibrasi song Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan aktivasi teknologi digital Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) edisi VI dalam menganalisis diksi pada lagu Asmalibrasi. Penggunaan kamus digital ini dianggp penting sebagai salah satu sumber informasi dalam mencari arti kata sesuai dengan kamus Bahasa Indonesia secara online. Kemudian peneliti juga tertarik untuk mengetahui makna lagu, serta ragam Bahasa apa saja yang terdapat pada lagu tersebut. Ketertarikan peneliti pada lagu ini berawal dari judul lagu tersebut yang dianggap unik, dengan pemilihan kata-kata yang tidak biasa namun memiliki unsur keindahan. Hal ini yang menjadi ketertarikan peneliti untuk mencari tahu apa arti kata dari judul lagu tersebut serta beberapa pilihan kata lainnya sehingga dapat menemukan makna yang ingin disampaikan. Berdasarkan analisis diketahui bahwa makna lagu tersebut yaitu menceritakan tentang sebuah hubungan yang telah menemukan titik persamaan "frekuensi" atau kecocokan dari segala aspek yang dicari untuk melanjutkan sebuah hubungan ke jenjang yang serius. Penurunan ego dari tiap pasangan menjadi solusi agar sebuah hubungan bisa berjalan dengan lancer. Sedangkan ragam Bahasa yang ditemukan dalam lagu tersebut adalah ragam Bahasa, Jawa, Melayu, dan Sansekerta.Kata Kunci: diksi dan ragam bahasa, makna lagu asmalibrasi, teknologi digital.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the negotiation and collaboration strategies of ideas in developing project-based frameworks as an effort to improve creativity and short story writing skills. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. The research subjects consisted of language education students taking the Fictional Prose Appreciation course. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation of the learning process, interviews, and document analysis of short story framework results. The results of the study indicate that negotiation of ideas plays an important role in building understanding among group members regarding the storyline, characters, and themes, while collaboration of ideas allows the integration of various perspectives to enrich the short story content. The implementation of these two strategies has been shown to increase engagement, shared responsibility, and more original work results. Thus, negotiation and collaboration of ideas can be used as effective strategies in developing project-based writing skills, especially short story writingKeywords: Negotiation, Collaboration, Thinking Framework, Project-Based Learning, Short Story Writing Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi negosiasi dan kolaborasi ide dalam penyusunan kerangka berpikir berbasis projek sebagai upaya meningkatkan kreativitas dan keterampilan menulis cerpen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan model Project-Based Learning (PjBL). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas mahasiswa program studi pendidikan bahasa yang mengikuti mata kuliah Apresiasi Prosa Fiksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi proses pembelajaran, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen hasil kerangka cerpen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa negosiasi ide berperan penting dalam membangun kesepahaman antaranggota kelompok mengenai alur cerita, karakter, dan tema, sementara kolaborasi ide memungkinkan penggabungan berbagai perspektif untuk memperkaya konten cerpen. Penerapan kedua strategi ini terbukti meningkatkan keterlibatan, tanggung jawab bersama, dan hasil karya yang lebih orisinal. Dengan demikian, negosiasi dan kolaborasi ide dapat dijadikan strategi efektif dalam pengembangan kemampuan menulis berbasis projek khususnya menulis cerpen.Kata Kunci: Negosiasi, Kolaborasi, Kerangka Berpikir, Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek, Menulis Cerpen

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning berbantuan YouTube “Laptop Si Unyil” terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas VII MTs Swasta Bustanul Alim Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu melalui desain Posttest-Only Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 62 siswa yang terdiri atas dua kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling, dengan kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning berbantuan YouTube “Laptop Si Unyil”, dan kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 80,17, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 68,18. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai t_hitung sebesar 7,68, lebih besar dibandingkan t_tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 1,66 dan 1% sebesar 2,39, sehingga hipotesis nihil ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif diterima. Dengan demikian, model Project Based Learning berbantuan YouTube “Laptop Si Unyil” berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa, khususnya pada aspek struktur teks, isi, kesesuaian tema, kaidah kebahasaan, serta penggunaan ejaan dan tanda baca, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih aktif, kreatif, dan menyenangkan. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability to write observation report texts of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Setia Janji. This problem is caused by the lack of variety of learning models used by teachers and the minimal use of digital-based learning media that can increase students' interest, motivation and creativity in writing LHO Texts. This study aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model assisted by Multimedia Add Text on the ability to write observation report texts of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Setia Janji. The theoretical basis of this research includes the concept of the Discovery Learning model that emphasizes the process of independent knowledge discovery by students and the use of Multimedia Add Text as a medium in writing observation report texts in the learning process and student worksheets. This study uses a quantitative experimental method with a Posttest Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 62 students consisting of 31 students in the control class and 31 students in the experimental class who were selected using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out through a test of the skills to write observation report texts. The results showed that the average value of the ability to write observation report texts in the experimental class was 86.29, while in the control class it was 74.03. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test obtained a value of tₕᵢₜᵤₙg = 12.26, while tₜₐbₑₗ = 1.67 at a significance level of 5% and 2.39 at a significance level of 1%. Because tₕᵢₜᵤₙg > tₜₐbₑₗ (12.26 > 1.67), the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the hypothesis (Ho) is accepted. It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model assisted by Multimedia Add Text has a significant effect on the ability to write observation report texts of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Setia Janji in the 2025/2026 academic year.
