Abstract

This research intends to improve laterite material as an alternative filler composite mortar bricks, began with analyzing substitution of mortar sand composite, to its concrete mortar composite according to characteristic and compressive strength,  as comparison for common bricks  building materials had done. This research was pointed, to maximize the bricks compressive strength with laterite addition by experiment method. Samples were made with two variations, which is normally and laterite bricks (as sand substitution is 50%) and the compressive strength gain normal mixture was at 25,09 kg/cm2. Meanwhile, by using 50% bricks substitution and 50% sand substitution, the results was 28,56 kg/cm2. It can be assumed that compressive strength material can increase the compressive strength.

Abstract

The Balikpapan - Samarinda toll road is one part of the trans Kalimantan toll road that arrived currently under construction. The construction of this toll road uses rigid pavement. Road construction This toll road by the East Kalimantan Provincial Public Works Department requires a minimum flexural strength of 45 kg / cm² for 28 days of concrete age. The purpose of this study is to study flexural strength concrete on the rigid pavement of the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road based on the planning of concrete mixes at field. This study uses experimental methods in the laboratory. Credit samples are made based on concrete mix planning in the field and testing in the laboratory. The sample as many as 24 pieces for a cylinder size of 15 x 30, and 12 pieces for blocks measuring 15 x 15 x 60, which will remain at the age of 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. The results of the strong test on the cylinder is obtained at 382 kg / cm2, 27% bigger than planning, and flexural strength in the beam of 53.48 kg / cm2, 18% greater than requirements. So it can be concluded that the pavement work is rigid on the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road Has been in accordance with the provisions stipulated by the East Kalimantan Provincial Public Works Department.

Abstract

One of the innovations in the use of glass waste in the construction sector is as a mixture of concrete brick. In this research glass dust from a building demolition in the Klandasan area of ​​Balikpapan was used as a substitute for sand in a mixture of concrete brick. This research aims to analyze the use of glass powder as a substitute for sand in a mixture of concrete brick based on SNI 03-0349-1989. Concrete brick specimens are made with a cement and sand ratio of 1: 6. The variation in the replacement of glass powder used is 0%, 25%, and 50% of the composition of the sand. From the results of the analysis it was found that the water absorption capacity of the concrete brick with the addition of glass powder to the mixture of the concrete brick as a substitute for sand in the 0% concrete brick glass powder was 5.13% greater than the variation of 25% glass powder and 17.1% greater than the 50% variation of glass powder. The compressive strength of the concrete brick making with the addition of glass powder as a substitute for sand in the mixture of the concrete brick compressive strength of 25% glass powder is 11.11% better than oncrete brick 0% glass powder and compressive strength of the concrete brick 50% glass powder is better 33.33% than concrete brick 0% glass powder. Based on SNI 03-0349-1989, water absorption and compressive strength on concrete brick with the addition of glass powder as a substitute for sand still meet the requirements

Abstract

Tingginya volume lalu lintas yang melewati Jalan Mulawarman Kawasan Borneo Paradiso menyebabkan terjadinya pertemuan kendaraan yang cukup padat dari berbagai arah jalan mengakibatkan penumpukan kendaraan disetiap lengan jalan baik pada pagi hari maupun sore hari. Penumpukan kendaraan tersebut disebabkan oleh banyaknya jumlah kendaraan yang melintas, oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitan pada ruas jalan tersebut. Adapun dalam penelitian ini dilakukan survey volume kendaraan, survey hambatan samping, serta survey geometri jalan yang kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan dari Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI, 1997). Berdasarkan hasil analisa, volume pada ruas Jalan Mulawarman adalah 3126 smp/jam dengan kapasitas yaitu 2921 smp/jam. Nilai derajat kejenuhan pada Jalan Mulawarman berdasarkan hasil perhitungan adalah 1,07. Tingkat pelayanan jalan pada Jalan Mulawarman ada pada tingkat pelayanan F. Kata Kunci: Jalan Mulawarman; Derajat Kejenuhan; Tingkat Pelayanan Jalan The high volume traffic that passig throught the Mulawarman Road Borneo Paradiso Region caused the meeting of solid vehicles from different direction of street caused the vehicles build up on each direction of road in the morning or evening. The build up of vehicles due to the large number of vehicles that pass on it. Therefore the research on these roads has been conducted. In this study, the survey of vehicle volume, the survey of side barriers and also the survey of the road geometry then analyzed using the calculation Metod of the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI,1997) has been done. Based on the analysis, the volume on Mulawarman Road is 3126 smp/hour with capacity is 2921 smp/hour. The degree of saturation on Mulawarman Road is 1,07. Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan suatu proyek konstruksi jarang ditemui suatu proyek yang berjalan tepat sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Untuk menghindari kerugian dapat dilakukan pengendalian proyek baik dalam aspek biaya maupun waktu, pada kali ini penulis mengangkat tentang produktivitas karena berhubungan dengan waktu dan biaya pada pelaksanaan suatu proyek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kinerja produktivitas alat, khususnya alat jack in pile untuk memastikan bahwa pekerjaan pemancangan berjalan berdasarkan waktu yang direncanakan sehingga tidak menghambat pekerjaan yang lainnya serta faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan keterlambatan atau kemajuan proyek. Data yang diperoleh dari proyek antara lain Data Sondir, Gambar Kerja dan Data Pemancangan. Hasil perhitungan perkiraan waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan pemancangan hanya membutuhkan 2 Minggu, menunjukkan proyek mengalami keterlambatan 5 minggu dari waktu yang direncanakan. To avoid losses, control of the project can be done both in terms of cost and time, at this time the author raised about productivity because it deals with the time and cost of implementing a project. The purpose of this study is to determine the productivity performance of the tool, especially the jack in pile tool to ensure that the erection work runs based on the planned time so that it does not hamper other work and the factors that cause delays or project progress. Data obtained from the project include Sondir Data, Shopdrawing and Piling Data. The calculation results for the estimated completion time of the erection work only need 2 weeks, indicating the project has been delayed 5 weeks from the planned time. Abstract

Pembangun Gedung Motor Control Center sebagai pusat pengendali seluruh mesin di area PT. Balikpapan Chip Lestari sebagai industry pengolahan kayu. Proyek dengan biaya sebesar Rp. 4.109.814.000,- dalam perencanaannya membutuhkan durasi 149 hari (±5 bulan) pelaksanaan. Tetapi pada kenyataannya proyek ini mengalami keterlambatan di lapangan, hingga memasuki bulan ke lima proyek pembangunan gedung ini baru rampung 80,36%. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan percepatan waktu dengan melakukan reschedule ulang semua item pekerjaan menggunakan metode PDM (Precedence Diagram Method) dengan cara menambah jumlah tenaga kerja, durasi dan waktu jeda pada setiap pekerjaan yang ingin dilakukan percepatan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa besar biaya dan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan proyek pembangunan gedung tersebut setelah dilakukan reschedule menggunakan metode PDM adalah sebesar Rp. 3.580.623.193,69. dengan durasi 140 hari. Yang mana lebih optimal dari rencana awal yaitu dengan biaya sebesar Rp. 3.661.470.659,00 dan durasi 149 hari. In this study, time acceleration will be carried out by rescheduling all work items using the PDM (Precedence Diagram Method) method by increasing the number of workers, duration and pause time for each job that you want to accelerate. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the cost and time required to complete the building construction project after rescheduling using the PDM method was Rp. 3,580,623,193.69. with a duration of 140 days. Which is more optimal than the initial plan, namely at a cost of Rp. 3,661,470,659.00 and a duration of 149 days.
